We had a like for like swap making any sheet metal reworking unneccesary. With all 5 estimates, Fuse Service HVAC came in the lowest. Considerably lower! But we asked a lot of questions to make sure they would do everything you must do to do a proper installation and they checked ALL our boxes. They were VERY knowledgable to share different options....thanks Dmitri! They showed up a few days later on the scheduled date. There were only 2 installers there except Dmitri came a couple of time but didn't need to do much at all. ALL their installers have 10+ years installing. I checked to see the progress through the day and they never stopped except for lunch knowing exactly what they needed to do! Impressive! They were working in the garage, in the back w/ a new A/C condensor and in the hallway to install a new Ecobee thermostat. We paid for an upgraded one that has a separate sensor which we put in our bedroom for the thermostat to only take that reading to make our sleep more comfortable, a great tech for sure! So Dmitri from the start came across as caring to meet all our needs, a good guy the kind I can relate to. Very personable and yet professional! All people from Dmitri the owner to his crew were friendly and answered my many questions every time as I am a detail guy LOL. There was NOT ANYTHING that I could see that didn't look anything less than a TOP NOTCH INSTALLATION. To get a price even thousands below what most others quoted and getting a high tech Rheem furnace and A/C is delightful knowing that our exceptionally old furnace won't be quitting in the middle of a big cold snap. After a poor experience with another Samsung authorized service provider (there are two in the Portland, Oregon area), I escalated the repair issue to the Samsung Americas CEO office, and Tekniton was assigned to do the repair. From the start, this company was very good (not perfect) at communication. When I told the scheduler that the issue wasn't listed as one of the failure modes on Samsung's website, she indicated that Tekniton would need to send out a technician to confirm the part that needed to be replaced. Technicians called before they came out. One minor communication incident occurred when Tekniton sent an SMS message to my home phone, which can't display SMS messages. Since I'd escalated the repair with Samsung, I received two E-mails from Samsung that the panel was available and that Tekniton was trying to schedule the repair, so I called Tekniton to get the repair scheduled. The repair required two different visits from two different technicians. The first confirmed that the LCD panel needed to be replaced, and informed me that the part was on backorder through Samsung service parts. Three weeks later, when the panel became available to do the repair, a second technician was scheduled. I've dealt with several different appliance repair providers over the past 18 years, and Tekniton is definitely one of the better companies I've worked with.

He worked very efficiently and gave me a detailed breakdown of what parts had failed, what would be involved in replacing it, how long it would take to get the needed parts, and exactly what the cost would be. When he returned with the needed parts a few days later, I asked if he could look at some issues we had with our kitchen stove, and he very kindly went over all the burners and the oven parts with me, going into the "innards" of the oven to diagnose in detail what was going on. He clearly explained what was going on with our clogged burners, clearing them on the spot, and showing me exactly what was going on with the main oven and broiler igniters (both of which clearly needed replacement; he took photos that showed exactly what was going on inside my oven). When it became clear that the broiler igniter was backordered, he went out on E-Bay to find one that could be delivered within a week. The full repair estimate was VERY reasonable and clearly conveyed to me - and it was less than half of what another appliance repair person had told us (without supporting details) when we tried to fix our stove before. I would heartily recommend OMG and their excellent tech Anton for any home appliance repairs - they're rock stars!!

We recently scheduled a service call at a pending $5M home for two units (one leaking, one excessively loud). Two technicians arrived--one of whom we later learned was the owner, Tim Thompson. From the moment we explained the issues, his demeanor was dismissive and unprofessional. There was eye rolling, a condescending tone, and repeated comments minimizing the concern instead of addressing it. We fully understand the type of units installed--however, one was clearly operating outside of normal expectations. The other technician who was present was respectful and professional, which made the contrast in behavior even more noticeable. What crossed the line was the attitude and approach. We were told they were essentially "doing a favor" by even being there. That is not how you speak to clients--especially in a professional setting, and especially not in a high-end property representing both of our brands. At that point, I directly asked why he was being so aggressive and acting like an asshole, as his tone and behavior were completely inappropriate. Instead of addressing the issue or de-escalating, he abruptly ended the appointment, said "we're done," and walked off the job without servicing either unit. To later find out that this individual was the owner explains the lack of accountability--and is even more concerning. For a company that promotes itself as "the nicer repair man," this experience was the complete opposite. We have also communicated this experience to the representative for the brand they claim to service and advised that it may be worth reevaluating their relationship with this company based on this behavior. We will not be using them again.
