My review will cover only the aspects of the business I saw. I haven't done any true paintball here, just the zombie shooting event they run in October. My friend got a groupon for the zombie shoot and it was an okay deal at 32 for 2 people. We arrived pretty late and were one of the last groups. The presentation that they show was cute and tried to bring a sense of immersion into the zombie shoot, but I think they could improve the editing to make it a little more professional. I'd also recommend putting the safety instructions in this video as well as a break down of the Weapon you'll be using. We had a group of 4 and we were joined with some employees to make the total group close to 7-8 people. I would have preferred going with just my group because if you're at the back of the line you'll rarely actually shoot anything. The actual course was enjoyable and as soon as we got going I immediately became immersed. The floor is uneven in several spots and can be a hazard. I suggest being careful here because the last thing you're thinking about is where you're stepping. At the end of the course we were allowed to play fuzzball (think that's the name) for free which was a total blast. Really enjoyed that and added value to our purchase. Some recommendations to the management/business/// include more horde feelings throughout the courses, create a "boss battle" at the end (you're course has the room to accommodate that) a zombie apocalypse has a feeling of overwhelming doom and you can simulate this pretty easy. The course also felt a bit short and if we hadn't groupon'd id feel a bit short changed. You can make the lab the midway point and then have the survivors fight their way back out to safety. I love the attempt the company had made here and I support local businesses who try new ideas to generate Buzz and excitement for their location. They are always getting better every time we go. This place offers several playing fields (some rustic). I've played paintball at several places out of state and let me tell you that True Paintball is among the very best and is very family oriented. Saturdays can be BUSY, so I recommend making reservation. They have coupons and discounts for groups on their website. Last time I called ahead and talked to a very nice lady. She gave us a great group rate. This place is more setup for families than for pros. They have lots of types of guns now and my kids really liked the low impact option. Me, my nephew, and brother in law went and had a great time. The costumer service was great. Everybody was friendly and helpful. We ended up spending 5 hours there. Which was a lot longer then we planned. We are planning on returning again soon. read more

Always have a great experience at true paintball! The staff is super friendly and do a great job. I took a friend here for her first time paintballing and she was scared at first but one ref-brown hair with a beard- did everything he could to make it fun and we had a great time! They were amazingly attentive to our various team needs. When people started to get tired and wanted to sit out, rest, and get water, they came up with other scenarios to accommodate the people who wanted to keep playing. We had an amazing time and experienced none of the "GI Bro" attitude that sometimes accompanies these sort of establishments, only helpfully friendly staff. I haven't been to true paintball for about 6 months now but if it's anything like it was when I last went it's really not worth your time. Their paint prices are way too high, their paint was 3 dollars for 100(15 dollars for one bag) their old price was 12 dollars for 500 which is more reasonable, they also gave you your paint in pods which hold 100 paintballs and carrying all of your pods while in a match is unrealistic, you can't carry 15 pods while running around and paintballing, this may not seem like an issue but if you don't keep your pods with you THEY WILL GET STOLEN and true paintball will not do anything about it, I had 700 paintballs(21 dollars) stolen from me the last time I went. The manager will also try and take advantage of you, last time I went I had an incredibly nice paintball mask that the manager got mad at me for using because it wasn't "certified" when I went to the website I bought it from and tried to show them it was certified by the national paintball association they wouldn't listen and told me that if I didn't rent a mask and stop being stubborn they would kick me out. They also failed to honor a groupon that I had purchased because they weren't the ones who made the coupon and I didn't buy it from them even though true paintball was the one who authorized groupon to make the coupon. Their website is also impossible to navigate and looks like a 3 year old put it together. Their courses are also absolute trash, the last time I went they were putting turf on all their fields, the way they were adding turf was awful because the would move all the cover to one side of the course so they could put turf on half the field and then switch sides, this caused incredibly unbalance games because one team had to run over 20 feet of open ground in order to get behind cover while the other team had a fortress to sit in, and once you got behind cover you couldn't shoot anyone because you were too close to them and at true paintball you aren't allowed to shoot anyone if your within 15 feet of them no matter what(the place I go to now allows you to shoot people from closer then 15 feet of there is no other option). Their rental prices are also rather high( I don't remember them because I have my own gun and I never rent but they have increased their prices by 2 or 3 dollars in the past couple of years). They are also in an awful location that's super far away from anything and it isn't worth the gas to drive there. Their indoor course is also trash, they have random holes everywhere that somehow manage to get filled with water and create mud pits, it is also poorly vented and your mask will fog up before start the game( we had to end a game once before anyone fired a shot because no one could see) they also have a tower that you can go in but you aren't allowed to shoot people who are in the tower with you because you are too close. They also have a stupid safety video that you have to watch if it's your first time, again this doesn't sound bad but the video is way too long especially when they could just tell you the rules and then send you on your way but no, that would be way to simple and then they couldn't charge you as much. The max FPS allowed is too low, it's set at 250( it should be closer to 300) when most nice paintball guns have a hard time shooting below 260 or 275 which is yet another way they make you rent from them.
