The cost isn't bad. A butterfly machine would be nice. A proper free weight shoulder press would be great as well. The outside portion could be a little less rusty but I rather have the equipment rusty than just not having the equipment. The biggest issue you'll have is with other members not re-racking their weights, not wiping down the equipment they just used, using multiple pieces thinking they can reserve stuff and of course, setting on the equipment while checking social media...but, that's every gym these days.

I've seen some really well oiled and well manage facilities and some really poor ones. Unfortunately, this one ends up sort of on the lower spectrum for several specific reasons. I will give them credit in that their equipment selection is pretty solid and for the most part is kept relatively clean. That being said, I think there are several things that this gym definitely needs to open its eyes and wake up to. 1. To the price is crazy high... just because premier gyms charge crazy prices doesn't mean it's okay for just any old gym to do the same. 2. The keycard thing is awkward and clumsy. You get a keychain that you then also have to swipe. So for someone like me that puts their car keys in their locker, you're stuck having to take your key tag off of your keys and carry it to you in your pocket so you can move from one section of the gym to the other. 3. The music is crazy loud to the point where this place is literally causing hearing damage and increased risk of hear ing loss over time. As I said, I've been to 40-50 gyms in my day but there is a level of loud music that's simply too loud and bass heavy... and this place slams your head with stupid white boy rap and heavy drake bass the entire workout. 4. Very stinky locker rooms. Do you want to smell hot stinky ball sack literally EVERY time you walk into the locker room? Well this is the place for you. I think they might have some bacteria growing in their sauna or something because it's literally every day 10/10 ball sweat stink in your face. 5. Lastly, I spoke to 2 employees including the owner about an issue I had and was told both times that I'd get an email for follow up... neither time did o get any follow up.

Some advice, if you're going to give your credit card to a company that practices like this, is to make sure you block them with your credit card company after your membership is up. ( the following is a reply to the reply from one life) Hi Kelly, I think it might be wise to get some facts straight before you reply. Your regional manager never "explained" anything. After looking through the internal notes of the account, the general manager thought I should be refunded. But he could not authorize such a large refund and had to kick it up the chain to the regional manager. After many attempts, the regional manager essentially ignored the flagged requests from the general manager. So please, do your due diligence and look through the internal notes on the account. I don't judge a company by the mistakes they make, but how they fix them.

In the time I was there, they opened up several new rooms in the gym, including more benches, racks, and deadlifting platforms. They also seemed responsive to their member surveys and it seemed like my suggestions for improvement were actually taken into account based on the changes I observed. I typically went during the mornings and found that I rarely had to wait for equipment, which is always a plus. Better experience here than most gyms I have been to.

This box has everything that you will need and they follow their own programming. CrossFit Broadwing is new but they have it together. I had a long conversation with the owner and she explained to me the how and why behind their programming. They were also very receptive to feedback. I have been participating in CrossFit for almost 6 years. I know good gyms, bad gyms and terrible ones. This was one of my favorites to drop into. The staff and community were very welcoming. The only suggestion I had for them was ensuring they incorporate more strength pieces especially on days where a workout might take an athlete less than ten minutes. The owner explained that they have new members so they are still coaching and teaching all the CrossFit things. I understood where she was coming from. I can tell that they plan on building to that, they also offer Olympic weight lifting. I will for sure be back the next time I am in Martinsburg West By God Virgina!

My son played a Basketball Tournament here. IT IS NOT A BASKETBALL FACILITY. They took a hockey…read morerink and put a rubber floor over it to turn it into a basketball court... well three. I was told (didn't verify) that the hoops weren't regulation height. My son and husband said dribbling on it was like bouncing a ball on a mattress. The markings on the floor were crooked/uneven. They didn't provide enough chairs for the team. Seating for fans was awful. Plus you had to watch through the hockey glass which was FILTHY. God help you if you needed to use the bathroom. The sinks (originally white with chrome fixtures) were covered in black.... IDK... grime? I was afraid to touch it. It was SO GROSS. Years ago we were at that facility, it must have been operated by someone else because I had much better memories of it. I hope to never go back after this experience. T&T (the hosting organization) charged us $10 per day to see the games. That's pricey. IDK what the place charged T&T and if it was worth it.

I needed guidance to meet my long-term lifestyle changing goals. Body Renew matched me with a perfect personal trainer who has exceptional listening, focusing, and people skills. My trainer has a very personalized approach and is also hands-on. After only 2 months, I have already noticed improvements and have gained confidence in working my body. The gym facility is fantastic -- the staff is helpful and upbeat, the facility is clean and filled with workout equipment. There is an unspoken positive feeling that permeates Body Renew....everyone there is working towards some form of personal development. I am so grateful that I 'found' Body Renew, and have such a wonderful personal trainer!

The YMCA is the only place I know that cancels swimming when it thunderstorms and it's beyond…read moreridiculous. What's the point of paying for swim lesson if they keep canceling class and they only allow you to make up one class between sessions. The staff in the reception area can't tell you if there will be make up classes. The coach who teaches the class can't confirm. They all direct you to the swim director. There should be some better communication there.

I am ending my membership as I fear entry into this facility. It is sad and unfathomable that the YMCA appears unable to hire staff with simple customer service skills. Lockers are pretty nasty, lots of broken pieces on lockers and equipment, and the crowd meter lies! It is sooo small inside and as such was very packed even late at night. Mostly teenage boys just joking around hogging equipment, and there's only one machine for most stuff here. Only caveat is the staff were really nice and the Black Card amenities are functional, which is more than can be said for some locations. Overall though this is at the bottom of my list of PF locations in Loudoun County. It's also not 24/7 like all the other locations.
