ASSUMING that there would be a Guess store at Chinook, that's where I headed. Imagine my frustration when I got to Chinook and found out that there is NOT a Guess store there. WHAT?!?!? So in my mind, there were only two Guess stores that I knew of in our city: The one at South Centre Mall, and the one at Cross Iron Mills. Like hell I'm driving all the way to Balzac to go shopping at the Guess. I was super annoyed. That was that. The next weekend, I was wandering around Market Mall and there she stood...in all her beauty. That's right: a Guess store....and in N.W. Calgary...REALLY?!?!?! YES. I think I actually did a little jig in the middle of the mall - don't judge. I was at T-9 days for the sister's b day and I needed 8 of those 9 days to ensure she gets it on time in the mail. This Guess store had a tonne of things that I know my sis will love, and have I mentioned how much I love the location yet??? Yeah, you're right... I'm bustin' out the jig again.

He was tall, dark and handsome, all you need to know. He picked out perfect things that I would like, was very attentive, not in an bad way, just the right amount. I had planned on buying a top, but my wifey told me they have the most amazing skinny jeans, and there was a pair of super cool black and white ones. And let me tell you, they are AH-MAH-ZING!!! I am writing to share my deep frustration regarding the recent experience I've had with their…read morereview-based rewards program. I am a frequent shopper who values your brand, but the current implementation of their coupon policy is incredibly disappointing and feels intentionally misleading. Between April 2nd and April 13th, I submitted five product reviews. Based on my understanding of the program, I was anticipating receiving my 25% discount code on July 1st. To my dismay, I discovered that the coupon is tied specifically to the last date a review was submitted. Consequently, I am now forced to wait until July 13th to receive the discount, rather than the beginning of the month. This policy is incredibly frustrating for a few reasons: Lack of Transparency: Nowhere on their website was it clearly stated that the issuance of the reward is pegged to the specific calendar date of the final review submission. I feel blindsided by a rule that isn't communicated upfront. Inventory Risk: Because I am now stuck waiting until the 13th, the items I intended to purchase with this discount are at a high risk of selling out or having my size become unavailable. It defeats the purpose of being a loyal customer who takes the time to provide feedback if I cannot actually use the incentive provided. The Logic of the Policy: The current structure simply doesn't make sense. If a customer submits a review on the 30th of a month, they receive the coupon on the 30th--practically at the end of the window. Furthermore, if I purchase an item on the 29th, I am effectively forced to wait until the 30th to review it anyway. It would be far more customer-friendly and logical to have these rewards issued on the 1st of the month, regardless of the specific submission date, so that customers can actually plan their shopping accordingly. I truly enjoy Anthro products, but this experience has left me feeling undervalued as a customer. I hope Anthro will reconsider how this policy is messaged to shoppers or, better yet, update the system to be more functional and transparent.

Dissapointed. Purchased a sweater from here that was not on sale. The Manager on duty said I could locate something else but they do not do refunds. So I found some sandals that suited me and chose them. However....they were on sale $10 cheaper than my sweater. She told me she would not give me the $10 back and I would have to have them at the same price as my sweater. Never experienced anything like this ever before and thought it was pretty rude. Fine if there are no refunds, but then to not return your $10 when you can only find one other thing that would suit you- not impressed and wont enter the store again. I purposely looked at the tags on a wide variety of items and I doubt you could leave without spending less than $100. However, I didn't check the tie clip or cuff link prices, so they might be lower. The average polo shirt that I looked at was $115 or more, I found button-ups for $225 and saw jackets for well over $300. I didn't bother looking at suits. Ed Williams also carries shoes, I saw a fedora and there's a section with casual wear (mostly targeted to slender men). What really sold me on Ed Williams though is the service; the staff are all incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and aren't going to pester you with frustrating "hard-sell" techniques. Ron and Lowell were both especially helpful when my partner and I were in looking for wedding attire, and took the time to help us find a number of great options that fit our style and budget. Would definitely recommend for any suits, formal and business wear, these guys really know their stuff, and will treat you like a human being while they're at it!

Styles and brands probably run more on the cool dad side of things, which is great as this aligns with one of my dearest aspirations.
