I simply love True Rest Float Spa. It's not for anyone with any degree of claustrophobia, but everyone else should at least try it out. The Brick, NJ spa is always immaculate, especially important during the pandemic. Everyone on the staff has been kind, courteous and helpful. The spa provides everything you need for a relaxing float - ear plugs, shampoo/conditioner/body wash (for before and after your float) towels, Q-tips, even a mint. 60 or 90 minute floats are available. You can choose to have lights on or off and music on or off. (Controls are right in the pod.) I've never felt rushed after my float. There is a separate, shared room for after your float where there are hair dryers, hair care products and other items you might need. I always leave feeling relaxed and pampered. read more

I admit: I was a bit nervous my first time. Would I be able to relax? Would it make me fee claustrophobic? Would the pod really be clean? Would it kill my color-treated hair? Will secret security footage of me floating "au natural" wind up on YouTube? (LOL) Fortunately, the place was immaculate and they are very serious about what they do. My treatment room was well-maintained -- sparkling clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The pod was pretty awesome. I never felt confined or anxious. It is thoroughly relaxing. I would do this again in a heartbeat. In fact, I'm thinking of canceling my monthly membership at a traditional massage place to do this more frequently. I have heard amazing reviews about TrueRest, so I decided to buy the Groupon and give it a try. At first, I was nervous, but the worker was very thorough, and the place was very clean and nice. Before and after the float, you take a shower which is in the same room as the "salt water pod". When I got into the pod, I felt relaxed immediately. When your float is done, you shower again, and there is a really nice room with blowdryers, hair products, lotions, and facial products. I used a blow dryer, and made my way out to the relaxation room. In that room, I used the oxygen bar which was amazing! I would highly recommend TrueRest Float Spa. I came across this place on Groupon. Lately I'm all about finding new ways to relax and pamper myself so I gave it a shot. When you first call to schedule your appointment they give you the run down and basic instructions for your first float, the main one being don't be late! And since my friend (who accompanied me) made us late we ended up having to reschedule our appointments. Luckily, they had float times available later that day. First time floaters must sign a waiver and watch a seven minute video. After the video you are directed to your floating pod. Each pod is in a private room. The room is extremely clean (almost sterile like). The room has a shower inside and an area to change your clothes. You can float with a swim suit on, or wear your Birthday Suit. You must shower upon entering/exiting the pod. Once the water jets in the pod are turned off you step inside the pod as your hour session has begun. You can choose to close the lid to the pod or not, I left mine open. The water is a comfortable warm temperature. As soon as you lay back you'll float! There's soft music that plays for the first few and last minutes of the session. Other than that it's just you and your thoughts. I felt so relaxed it was really weird. After I got out I just wanted to lay down and go to sleep...lol. After the float they encourage you to enjoy sometime in the "relaxation room." Where they provide complimentary hot tea, water with lemon, and tangerines. They also have an oxygen bar where you can inhale flavored oxygen (I skipped this step...lol) The entire experience was really tranquil. Not to mention, I slept like a baby that night. Wow! I heard about floating a few years back and finally got curious enough to give it a whirl. I meditate. I do yoga. I get regular massages but this was next level relaxation. I think I fell asleep? I know for a fact I turned off the lights in my pod but then I saw colored lights but I'm not sure if I was dreaming or hallucinating or what. All I know if I l got out of the pod the most relaxed I've probably ever been. Totally blissed out. I'll be back! The staff is VERY helpful and friendly. Amazing first experience! The man who helped us I assume to be the owner was so welcoming and made sure my boyfriend and I felt comfortable at all times. After we got out the pods which was truly a life changing experience, we got to do the oxygen bar which was a great way to end our session. He offered us tea, water, and fruits and told us to take our time and relax. When we left we realized we stayed almost an hour after they closed and the guy didn't say one word and reassured us to enjoy our time there. I came here a while ago to use my groupon I purchased for one float session. The actual spa is very cute with lots of amenities in the bathroom to clean up with after your session. The staff is super friendly. The only thing for me is that I just could not relax. For one thing, the water is not as warm as I had hoped it would be. Secondly, the light auto goes off when you are laying in the pod and then you are in complete darkness unless you wave your arms around to turn the light back on via the sensor. The problem with anytime you want to move is that you get salt water in your eyes which stings like crazy. I stayed in my pod as long as possible and ended up getting out about 10 mins early bc I just wasn't feeling it. The shower they have in the pod room to rinse off was the most freezing cold water ever which also did not help me feel relaxed. I hate to say it but I prob prefer to just lay in my bathtub at home with some bubbles. I think this just isn't for everyone. read more

Well service the first time here was awesome. But once they get you as a customers forget about Any customer service. We had 2:30 appointments where 7 minutes late and where told we could not float. Because they had new customers coming in and did not want them to me later for there appointment. Well we canceled or membership. So what ever you do not get a membership.
