True REST float spa was the most restorative and healing experience. The facility is pristine and the Alton location is very convenient. The staff at the gardens location is very welcoming and helpful when learning about the benefits of floating! I highly recommend checking them out, the holistic benefits are unlike anything I have ever tried!

What an interesting experience! This was my first float,…read moreeven though I was expecting a sensory deprivation tank, the float tub was nice! The staff were extremely friendly to my mom and I. They did a wonderful job explaining how this worked and making us comfortable. The private room was nice. I rinsed off (recommend) before floating and it was just me and myself and I for an hour of solitary thought. It's salt water, so it getting in my eyes was awful, but the give you a squeeze bottle of clean water to rinse. After the float, I had a lovely shower and went on my way. I highly recommend this spa and experience!

We enjoyed the private room for the infrared sauna and cold plunge, although very small...barely enough room for us both to dress and undress. My only complaint is that the sauna although it read 146 degrees was barely hot enough to draw a sweat from either myself or my husband. We have one at home that goes up to 120 degrees, and we are both sweating after 15 mins, so it is not accurate. I'd be interested in trying other services. They offer decent membership/point packages that can be shared and don't expire!j

I saw a Groupon for a flotation tank. I thought it sounded neat and wanted to give it a try. I…read morebought a deal for my husband so he could share the experience with me. We headed over there and met Anthony. He had us fill out forms for a massage and read about the flotation tank. We then were taken to a room that had a massage table, the tank and a shower. We decided I would go in the tank first. I climbed inside the tank not knowing what to expect. When you go in the tank it has water with medical grade epsom salt. You go in nude and we were told they have a way they sanitize the water. The tank is only meant for one person at a time. Once inside I laid down and tried to relax. I found it difficult because I could not remember if my ears were supposed to be submerged. I finally decided to let my head go back and few minutes later sat up to see if water was affecting my ears. It seemed ok so I tried again to get into it. At some points I was relaxed and felt like I really was floating away and even felt like I was spinning which I knew was impossible but the feeling was a little too intense for me. I ended up stopping my experience in the sensory deprivation tank because I think I was afraid to let myself go. I would like to try it again. I felt bad because my husband's massage was abruptly stopped because I came out of the tank early. I told him to tell the massage therapist to finish. I was given a robe and relaxed for about 15 minutes in the other room. Then it was time for us to switch services so I returned. My husband lasted longer than I did in the tank but also ended his session early. My massage also ended abruptly because he came out of the sensory deprivation tank early as well. It was not their fault I could not finish my experience in the tank but I think the massages ended awkwardly and we had to tell the therapist it was ok to finish my husband's massage which is why I did not give 5 stars. I also think for a first timer in the tank the instructions on how far to put your head back were vague because my husband also said he was uncomfortable and unsure if his ears should have been submerged.

I too used a groupon. The woman on the phone was very nice when I was an hour late due to the fact…read morethat GPS puts this place in Lake Worth, not North Palm Beach. The flotation tank was nasty. Black paint chips just flaked off. The room is dark and at first I didn't see it, but when I touch the inside of the door the black paint on the inside of the tank just flaked all over my hand. The rubber lining of the tank was hanging off. The tank also smelled moldy. I was disgusted by the whole experience and hope I didn't catch anything from even setting foot in the tank. Don't go. At any price.

I was a little afraid to do it but sometimes you just have to dare yourself…read more My wariness was due to the concept of floating in space, pitch black for an hour, with my own thoughts and no distractions. But I still bought a package a few months ago, to date myself to do it. It took me a few weeks but I finally made it in today. I walked in to a pleasant gal who confirmed we would do a tour since it was my first time. There was a nice waiting room in the front, that a person to grab a beverage from their fridge and relax before or after. She then went over the room and the details of the whole process. It was expected to show before and after which was in the same room. The whole set up was quite nice. The room had one soft light and a speaker system. Both systems ran on 1 on and off button that could be found even in the dark next to the water tank I settled in and turned off the light, but let the ambiance music play. It was impressive that the high salt content had me. Early floating on top of the water. It was an interesting hour. There were a few moments where I was really floating in time and space, disconnected from everything. It's was a unique feeling for sure. The hour was neither quick nor long. I was fine when the system let me know the time was up. I'm glad I did it, and plan to be back again soon.

Very clean facility, love the staff. Great place to relax, restore energy, and gain positivity.read more
