Something about it didn't feel right to me and I called another shop and they quoted me $860 for parts and labor, I asked the mechanic where the part was coming from, and he told me it was straight from Hyundai. The TRUE factory cost is $650. The owner of Meet Your Mechanic also quoted me 3 to 400 for labor on top of the $350 extra from the part. He said that my alternator was the problem but when I took the car to my normal shop Gunnell's in Mesa, they were able to find that the trunk light in my car was on and just unplugged it. My total cost $60. I saved myself $1400 because I trusted my gut and not the owner of the shop who treated me like I was stupid because I was a woman. When I went to pick up my car to take it to a different shop, the owner said something to me that seemed shady. He said that after running some more tests and replacing the battery my alternator doesn't actually seem to be the problem. What I took away from that was, he was trying to protect his own ass because he knew another shop was going to find out that the alternator was never the problem. I am disgusted that this place is even in business. Save yourself the time and money, and go to gunnels and Mesa. They are trustworthy, reliable and cost effective.

I get that, however, the way he said it was inappropriate, even for someone just inquiring. I do not recommend this business to new customers at all.

I knew where to take my car. Joe takes care of mechanical work and his brother Mike takes care of the body shop side. Once again, wow. Mike took care of making arrangements for payment from the other guy's insurance and after dropping off my car, even drove me to the rental car agency. They did amazing work. The car looks great. Later I thought I found some small nicks (I love this car so I'm trying to keep it in great shape) on a hood decal that MIGHT not have been there before. I wasn't sure and asked what he thought. Since I wasn't sure I offered to pay for the replacement decals and installation. He wouldn't let me, not even half. He decided to just take care of it for free. Wow. Now I felt bad since I really wasn't 100% sure that it was from them and no matter how many times I offered to pay in full or half it didn't matter. So yes, everything from the guy backing into me turned out great. Then, months later I hit a curb pretty hard and damaged my front splitter. It's carbon fiber and it was cracked beyond repair. Well, I knew where to go. This time there was no insurance involved and once again, great work and again he was just a nice guy. And he gave me a smoking price. I am so happy with this shop I'm now trying to think of other things I need painted. I have a motorcycle helmet that I dropped and am going to bring them to clean up the scuff and my wife's fender has a pretty big ding on it. I can't recommend this shop enough. It makes you feel a bit better about this sometimes messed up world when you find an honest shop that does great work. So, guys, I'll be back!

It's really unfortunate that I'm leaving this review, the owner Michael Vega seemed like a nice…read moreguy but has stopped responding all together. I hired him to fix a couple of dents back in June, immediately I noted the difference in color/texture and he said it would be fine after it dried, adding that one it was buffed, it would be good to go. A few days later I noticed bubbling in the paint (photo attached), I called him and he said it was too hot and that was why it bubbled, having already paid him in full, I took him at his word that as soon as the temp dropped below 105 degrees he would come back. I reached out each day the temp was in the range he mentioned and looking back just got the run around. I called several more times, even messaged him again on yelp and no response at all. I paid $750 for the work and will now have to find a different shop to repair the bubbles and other small things he promised to correct. I think he is a very nice guy and may have just over extended himself. My advice is sadly that you should probably look at other options so you don't end up out $ like I am. If he is kind enough to at least give a partial refund, I'll update this rating to reflect that, as I said he is a nice person so this is a real bummer. I doubt he will offer anything though, looks like I just got hustled don't make the same mistake.

Within 10 minutes the owner pulls me aside to inform me they can't do specialty cars, so back to square one. A friend told me about Stratton Motor Cars and now thankful none of the others could. I arrived much earlier than my appointment, entered the front office where at first no one was around and rang the bell for service. The door to the shop opened, and I was first greeted by a nice gent who then informed the owner I was there. I then saw a few more employees who most likely just returned from lunch, and they all took the time to introduce themselves and welcome me! Think about this; friendly people at a body shop? Front office was immaculate, organized and clean? Even the huge shop in back was cleaner than most people's garage? Has anyone ever witnessed such a thing??? After seeing there reviews which are all 5 stars, knowing they work on high-end cars, a clean and organized office, and shockingly, service with a smile at a body shop! To conclude, my car looks even better than the day I purchased it! They replaced everything, painted it, and re-wrapped it with precision!
