Heb has done it again with some delicious bbq! Texas bbq has indoor and outdoor dining!! Great choice for bbq to enjoy! Catering is available for parties or an event! The brisket and Mac and cheese are delicious! They also have all an option for different flavors of teas from peach to mango or regular Texas tea!

We enjoyed delicious BBQ and live trivia with Challenge Entertainment trivia on Thursday night. The staff is wonderful and very helpful.

AMAZING hands down!!! Me and my mom sat inside the restaurant, and it's really nice, spacious, and clean. The lady that took our order was super sweet and kind and patient. And omg, the brisket sandwich was to die for!! So tasty. The beans had a tiny kick to them, but OMG, it was so amazing! Definitely recommend!

I don't like to complain and I've made a semi negative review for True Texas BBQ in the past. You are so close to home and I really like your food. I'd give it 4 or 5 stars. Staff is pretty friendly and the atmosphere is great. Problem is with the meat portion. I paid $12.99 for a 1 meat plate then another $2.25 for a small drink. At Bill Miller I pay $11.25 for a 1 meat plate and it includes a large drink. So I paid $4 more at TTBBQ for HALF the meat, in this case turkey. In fact our grandson ordered a buckaroo plate with turkey and got the same amount of turkey that I got, 2 slices. At Bill Miller it's a stack of meat. I stopped ordering 2 meat plates at TTBBQ long ago. While yes I get 2 meats, it's still the equivalent of a 1 meat portion, and much more pricey. I don't want an apology, refund nor a gift card. Just please, be competitive with your meat portions. When ordering turkey or brisket, it should be 4 slices, at the very least 3. If you fix that issue, maybe we'll visit 2 or 3 times a month rather than once every 2 or 3 months. Just my opinion.

You can't beat BBQ for a late breakfast! We pulled into H-E-B market thinking it was the address to a BBQ joint. To our surprise it was a beautiful grocery store Chain with a BBQ restaurant inside. We were third in line as they had just opened. About 10 minutes later there was a line waiting to order, that never went away. The BBQ brisket was excellent. Juicy and just the right amount of fat in the chopped brisket sandwich I had. Sides were also excellent! Wish they were closer to Arizona!

I'm surprised I've never heard of them because this is some of the best barbecue I've ever had. Some of the best customer service too! I'm so glad I stopped in. This will be my go to every single time when I'm in Seguin, Texas. Food: everything was phenomenal! The brisket was made to perfection absolutely some of the best brisket I've ever had. The jalapeño sausage, I've never had a jalapeño sausage that good! The cheese was bursting out of the seam! The tater salad oh my God! Talk about a blast from the past if you're from Houston Texas, and remember the old Heights camp house BBQ, you will remember they had Camp house potatoes. They tasted exactly the same wow I was so happy to try that because I never thought I'd have a dish like that again in my life. The brisket rice was OK. I probably would get something else. The banana pudding was phenomenal. This is some of the best barbecue I've ever had. Easy five star review! The customer service was great. The line moved quickly and everyone was extremely nice. I will go out of my way to come here and get barbecue every single time when I'm at Seguin, Texas. This should be on Texas monthly, this should be on everyone's radar if you love barbecue! I saw some white lady that just looked angry behind the counter I'm assuming is the owner. Now, I did have VERY high expectations for this place because I have been a long time follower of 90 West barbecue since they first began. I know Jesus and Robin moved to this location. With that said I had high hopes the food would have came along with them, which by visual plating, and taste it absolutely did not. I honestly felt them two would have easily been brought this place on the top 50 bbq list and that got me so excited to make the drive out to try it. I did ask for Jesus but they said he was off when we went by. That surprised me they always work! Haha I don't know if he will see this review since he is a manager but Jesus your very talented man with a heart of craft bbq we know your worth, your bbq was killer. I pray someone will give you a partnership to begin your own restaurant location you will do just fine back in San Antonio and we will be right there with you and Robin.

Their brisket is divine and the sides we chose were out of this world. My husband loves their beans. The green beans were unique and I appreciated that they were super flavorful with tomatoes and delicious broth. The star of the show with the sides was the King Ranch Mac N Cheese!!!! I grew up on King Ranch Chicken Casserole as a child. So I was thrilled to have a macaroni with those delicious flavors. For a little history, that particular casserole emerged in the 1950s as a convenient, post-World War II Tex-Mex comfort food. Despite its name, it has no actual ties to Texas's famous King Ranch; instead, it is a creative, canned-soup-based casserole inspired by the Mexican dish chilaquiles. I am ususally underwhelmed by macaroni and cheese but this was the best. The macaroni shape was unusual and the closest I could find online was called "Radiator" because the similarity in shape to a radiator. It held the sauce perfectly though. Around 8:30 lots of people showed up and the line wrapped around the corner. Sun was not on us for the first hour. Second hour was hot but luckily around 10:20 they announced they were opening early YAY! We were eating by 10:45. Very organized, they have water out while you wait. Ok now the food: We got 2.5 lbs brisket 1.5 lbs ribs 1 link sausage which was .5 lb .5 burnt ends 1.5 lbs drumsticks which was 3 legs Pint Mac and cheese Pint Beans I got 1 chopped sandwich to take home. This was plenty for us 3 healthy eaters. Best part was the chicken 10/10 it was like a turkey leg from Fiesta iykyk. Cinco sausage- 9/10 flavor on point a bit crumbly Ribs were also 10/10 a bit sweet and sticky but smokey Burnt ends were perfect Brisket- 8.75/10 now here is where I get picky. It was amazing, flavorful, fatty and tender BUT it was a bit too tender so the texture was more like pot roast than brisket. A mix between smoked and oven brisket. Not terrible but not what I like. So i give it 8.75. Mac and cheese- 5/10 my two Mac loving companions did not care for it. It was more queso with pasta added than macaroni and cheese. Beans- 9/10 they were delish with the cheese! Tastes like frito pie. Chili beans but soo good. Potato salad: 8/10 very tia backyard style but could be elevated. Bacon ranch taters 10/10 they gave us a sample and husband loved it! Said he wished he got that vs the mac. Comes with pickles and martins bread. Drinks- sweet tea was legit and in a big to go cup 10/10 Tips: Free beer! They have free yueling beers for dine in. Plenty of to go containers and bags. Lots of seating but we were front of line. Reviews say 2 hour parking but thats M-F. Plenty of spots around the block if you come later. Nice little downtown area but lots of places are closed before 10. Lots of cool people in line! Chatted with a few and it was a vibe. Big question- would I wait 2 hours again? Yes if you go in better weather. This was late August and it gets hot fast. If you're taking your friends/family then yes make it an event, fans, chairs, coolers, music etc. Overall its really good and worth a trip for the chicken alone.

I asked the drive-thru employee, Enkenye, what came with the 40-piece meal. Her response was simply, **"I don't know."** I then asked if it came with sides or if it was listed somewhere on the menu that I was missing (it wasn't on the menu). She put me on hold, came back, and told me it included a family-size order of fries and a medium order of fries. Confused, I asked why it came with two orders of fries and whether I could substitute one of them for a different side. Her response through the speaker was, **"You're asking the wrong person."** I honestly didn't know how to respond, so I said, **"Well, you're the drive-thru person, so who should I be asking?"** If the employee taking orders can't answer basic questions about the menu, that's a management and training issue. To make matters worse, the drive-thru wait was around **25 minutes**, which is excessive for fast food. When I finally got to the window, I asked if the meal included pickles because every Bill Miller meal I've ever ordered has come with pickles. She asked, **"Did you order them?"** I said no because I assumed they came with the meal, and she looked at me and said, **"Nooooo, it doesn't come with pickles."** Seriously? A 40-piece family meal and you can't include a few pickles? It wasn't even about the pickles at that point--it was the dismissive attitude throughout the entire interaction. The food itself was fine, but customer service can absolutely ruin the experience. Between the lack of product knowledge, the rude responses, the 25-minute wait, and the unwillingness to provide something as simple as pickles, this visit was incredibly disappointing. I'll gladly drive farther to another location before returning to this one.
