A local brought me here and he felt it was good, The prices here were definitely good compared to the ever-rising trend. There's also a toppings bar where you can top your BBQ to your desire. I grabbed an extra roll and BBQ sauce. I tried their #7 combo (2 bbq sandwiches, a side, and drink)...just $8.25! Well, the BBQ sauce was pretty bland and the coleslaw I chose as a side had no flavor. This is a Pepsi house for those Coke drinkers out there. I understand this is a chain restaurant. We used to visit this bill millers when driving back home to Houston. Until we had some terrible experiences with the personnel. When I asked to speak to manager, the rude person told me he was the manager. His name was Daniel I think. He told my wife and i we were not welcome there because we wanted to out in a complaint. The chicken was excellent!! Hot, crispy skin, very little salt and a good portion for the price. I would have given 5/5 but my husband's sausage and brisket Poboy looked great but had little flavor and the BBQ sauce was flat (like ketchup). Granted bbq sauce can severely vary and preferences are just as varied. The staff was very nice, the meal served super quick and the bus boy was working very hard! Always check your food especially when using drive through, they don't give you all of what you ordered consistently. If it were to be less often I wouldn't complain. The forgot a breakfast taco, utensils and butter i had asked for since I ordered a biscuit, they gave me hot sauce even though i said I didn't want any. Passing thru from San Antonio to Dallas and we had the flavor for BBQ and found ourselves here. Meat was absolutely on point and delicious. Sides unfortunately didn't meet my taste buds. Staff seemed like they were just there to get the day over with. The inside was nice, roomy, and clean. We both ordered the #8. Bill Millers is very consistent in what they do. It may not be the greatest bbq offering available but it's never bad and always affordable . We stopped in late tonight near closing and they didn't have any dark meat chicken ready but the evening kitchen manager quickly spoke up and said he'd drop some and have it ready in a bit. Worst service ever. Called in and paid my order in advance. I asked the manager if he would mind having my order ready as itz not made until you arrive. Oh they had a 15 window. When I checked in No one brought the order out. So I called and manager stated "they would have it out as soon as they could" really I mentioned that I had called in 15 prior, he replied they are busy. a girl comes out with order minus drinks...another delay. The food here isn't usually the issue it seems to be the service. I get there's labor shortages but when it affects the customer experience consistently its a problem. Yesterday my taco was made incorrectly and the ingredients used weren't the quality I'm used to getting from Bill Millers. So i went back today and asked if they still had chorizo (advertised yesterday- after u pass the menu board and order) and was told no. Ok well ordered something else. At the window i confirmed...maybe they needed to remove signage. Nope they had what i wanted...the girl taking payment said she was not the one i ordered from. So i ordered two tacos with chorizo. Horrible brisket. Fatty and tough. Not like the barbecue from the 70's when I was growing up and eating there. They should close their doors for selling such terrible food. Their prices have gone up which is a bummer, but overall great good! Added on 7/31/19: Bill Miller is already great, but this location exceeded all expectations. I brought in a large group for dinner. Not only did they get their orders done quickly, they were super friendly and provided great customer service! Ate at Bill Miller in Seguin yesterday, had the Chicken Salad Delite and Lemon Meringue Pie. Both were excellent. Fresh greens, cut in just the right sizes, great smoky chicken, ate every bite! Very disappointed in the selection. They did not have any chicken tenders, and also no white bread. The server was kind of nice about it, but they should have offered us a discount since we were forced to choose more expensive options. I tried to do an LARGE online order for forty people because of a death in the family but I live on a farm outside of Kingsbury and neither Doordash or Favor deliver there so I'm not allowed to advance order anything and pick up. Apparently they are geared to force locals to use them (kickbacks, I guess) only so I continue to go to other venues in Lockhart & Luling. In the end, I went to Gills Fried Chicken in San Marcos to feed everybody the best I could. We've come to this location twice already and received the most tender brisket, the song Tenderoni by Bobby Brown comes to mind. My Father makes me go to Seguin to get their brisket, you will never know the embarrassment of ordering brisket with LOTS of FAT on it! I always tell him thank you when I return with his meal. Absolutely terrible service. We were traveling back to Houston and decided to stop here. We were unaware their dining room was closed but a waitress came outside with a menu and said she would take my order. She took 3 other people's order before mine. I went and sat in my vehicle and waited for my food. After about 35 minutes they come up to my vehicle and ask what we are waiting for since they don't have an order for us. Mind you the other 3 people who had ordered right before me had all gotten their food and left at this point. The waitress couldn't have cared less and basically said oh well and walked away. A phone call to the manager didn't yield any better service. Clearly this is the type of attitude and level of service that is accepted by this restaurant. read more

Bills is my favorite!! I literally eat here almost daily. However I am beyond upset with their customer service today!!! I called and ordered food so that I didn't have to sit in the long line. I call saying I am here to get my food and the lady says you are going have to get in line because I font have enough people to help you. Mind you they have curb pick up stations for just what I did. I then pull up to the ordering station behind the store and the gentleman men says "can't do anything about it" Customer service is NOT good!! I am not sure if they are cutting employee hours or how?
