They seem to have good health practices, they have a 10 person limit, making you wash your hands before you're serviced, they wear masks, there are dividers on the tables and we also wore masks. The man who did my nails was pretty nice. He made some sarcastic comments about my toe nails but whatever lol. I really like my nails although he did it different than I'm used to. No white precoat powder and no clear gel top coat. He used this other clear, shiny top coat but it's not as shiny as the gel top coat I'm used to. I still like the way my nails came out though. I also am satisfied with my gel pedi :) My boyfriend ended up getting a clear coat on his toes and fingernails and he said he enjoyed himself too lol. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is the guy's sarcastic comments and he seemed to be rushing on my nails. Other than that, I definietely recommend this place.

I called ahead to check to see if they could get my daughters and I in on a Saturday. They said "sure! Come on in!" When we got here the owner recognized us from my call and was so sweet and welcoming. My girls just wanted gel manicures, but I wanted a pedicure. They have several to choose from, and I went with the hydrate and moisture pedi. She sold me on it when she said it came with hot stone massage. After picking my color I sat in one of their amazing massage chairs. Loved all the settings. But of course the best was the amazing leg massage with the hot stones! Get it! The salon is very clean and relaxing. Charming decor. Overall cozy feel. (I can't stand loud noisy nail salons) The technician who did my pedicure was excellent. She was very detailed and made sure I was enjoying and relaxing. The location is easy to get into. Plenty of parking.

Because when I explained the problem…read moreI'd been having with the kind of acrylic nail that another salon used, instead of switching to the old-school acrylic, Lila recommended polygel nails. It's made a huge improvement in the health and appearance of my nails. I can wear sheer polish now. My nails don't get nasty discolorations. And Lila never files my living nail like many techs do. (Have you ever had a nail removed and seen all those half circle divets in your nail bed? It's killing your nails!) My nails aren't fake and chunky looking either. I frequently get compliments even though I don't do anything fancy--just simple polish. The salon is near St. Joseph Hospital in old St. Charles and has its own parking lot. So convenient. Its cozy environment is nice--a boutique spot, not 10 techs super busy and trying to fit in walk-ins. They have a scheduling app called Vagaro that I use for appointments. The only drawback you may have is paying a deposit for your appointment. But if you're the kind of person who keeps your appointments, then it will be worth it. In my experience (3 months so far) they've been on time and easy to work with. They just got in some gorgeous new fall colors and I tried a muted pink. But they have rich greens, blues, and browns, too. Maybe I'll go a little bolder next time--a deep blue-- or maybe I'll go back to a sheer. Who knows?
