By far the most talented and best priced nail salon in Snohomish. Alex is wonderful. OK, I admit it - I am nail challenged & Alex is patient and explains EVERYTHING to me. My daughters and their minions have been to several of the local nail shops, with often PRICEY and disappointing results. Their new 'nails' have fallen off more times than I can recount. Then one day, armed with friends, and cash, they tried out the 'new' Snohomish nail salon. Not only were their designs fresh, cute and new, but the nails themselves lasted! And the prices were reasonable! Then I gave them a try. I have had several bad experiences & brought my daughter in as a human shield, but I was pleasantly surprised. I wanted fake nails, but with my type of work, Alex suggested shellac, which I tried. Not only do I love the colors, quality and designs, but I return on a regular basis. To the owner: make sure you talk to people about whether or not the design they want is going to be possible. If it is not, don't make them think it is and then act like your customer is stupid when it can't be done after you start. I went in today, showed the guy a picture of a wedding design for my wedding on Friday. He said sure and sat me down. I was passed off to someone else to do the design which came out very thin and nothing like the picture. When I went to pay, they offered to fix it but it only got worse. Then they made me feel like a complete fool saying it was my fault my nails were too short to start. That bit of information would have been nice before I even started. That is amazing customer service. A coworker referred me to this place after I commented on her beautiful nails. She was right! Last week I brought my Mom here and I plan on bringing more of my girlfriends here. The best part is that True Touch uses a new set of tools for each client. I called to schedule an appointment & that was pointless because I had to wait until they had an opening anyway. I asked for a fill and pedicure and since the prices were reasonable ($17 fill) and $20ish for a pedicure I opted for the $32 pedi that was supposed to be extra moisturizing, exfoliating, fragrant & relaxing...NOT! It was a complete waste of money and none of those things. I have no idea what I paid extra for and when I asked the technician she was confused because she didn't speak English. Finally someone came over to explain and I still have no clue what they did. She was super defensive when I asked about it and that was akward to say the least. She insisted the technician did the pedicure correct. All I know is I've had a lot of pedicures and this was the worst I've ever had. My feet are still dry, the massage that most do for a couple minutes was like 3 seconds. I really should have just had a polish change because that's what the end result was. The lady also scorched me with hot water and when I said it was too hot she turned the nob so it was freezing (hate that) cold! Maybe it was just the tech because she was distracted. She took a call from her cell phone twice during the pedicure so it's possible I just had someone that was preoccupied...So if you plan on getting a pedicure here just ask them what you'll be getting and let's hope your experience is better then mine was! Honestly I'm a little torn because I want to give them 5 stars just based off of the great service, but I decided to give them 3 only because I felt like the job was rushed. I made an appt for when they opened and arrived 5 minutes early and to my surprise, their doors were open before their scheduled open time. There were already 4 people getting services done. I was helped immediately when I walked in and received both my manicure and pedicure at the same time. Now usually when I get these two done in the same day, it takes an hour - hour and a half. At this location, it only took 25 minutes for both. For some, this is a great thing. For me, this is a time for relaxation. The entire time it felt really rushed. The lengths of my nails came out completely uneven (pretty obvious too), the nail tech got nail polish on a few of my fingers, my pedicure had a dent in it, and I was never given the option on which pedicure I wanted. The reason why I'm giving them 3 stars instead of 5 is because when I arrived, 4 people were in the middle of getting their nails done too, yet somehow I was finished before every single person that was there before me and with a mediocre manicure and pedicure. Fast service is great, but not in this case. Pros; amazing selection for shellac, nice nail technicians, clean and organized environment. Cons; rushed service, a bit pricey. read more

I have been here twice for a gel manicure, and both times the polish was so thin I could see the dirt under my nails through it. I got a gel mani on Wednesday and it was chipped on Saturday. I thought for a long time before writing this. I received a reasonably good pedicure for $30. I tipped $10 on the service. The major problem I have with this business is that two of the staff were not wearing their masks properly. One woman (I think the manager) had the mask folded so that it was loose around the top of her nose. Another woman (the one who did my pedicure) was wearing a mask that fit so loosely it was below her nose. When I asked if the woman doing my pedicure could wear the mask so it was covering her nose or if she had a better fitting mask, the other woman (manager?) said she that they didn't have any other masks to give the employee doing my pedicure and she didn't understand why I was concerned because I had two masks on. This shows that they don't understand the basics of Covid after a year and a half of the pandemic. They are a business dealing with the public. They should know that they have to wear masks properly to protect their customers and themselves. I won't be going back here. read more

I have been coming here for a bout a year with my mom and occasionally we bring my grandma in who has very bad Alzheimer's disease. She is very confused,forgetful, and sometimes feisty. Ilene and Alex as well as their employees are so very sweet to her, and they even call her grandma Joyce :). My grandma loves going there and has a great time.
