Trevor Truesdell and his team moved us today from Kent to a couple storage lockers in Mentor. I was very nervous about this move because it was the first time my wife and I have moved out of a full blown house rather than an NYC micro apartment. It was also our first time hiring a moving company rather than doing it all ourselves. This time though, it was a 4 bedroom house along with a full garage and other various outdoor items. My family and my wife's family have both used Truesdell Moving for many many years and had nothing but the best to say about the company and crew. My grandmother said she had worked with them when Trevor's grandfather ran the company, and then his dad, and now we worked with Trevor. The reputation of the company in the community has remained top notch through the years and for my first time ever working with a moving company I can say I'm nothing but impressed. Our move required four men and two 26' trucks and of course we had a snow storm the night before the move. When the team arrived they assessed the move room by room with me and quickly got to work. They worked tirelessly without pause until the entire house was loaded into the trucks. We were so thankful and beyond impressed when one of the guys brought us a ring that he'd found behind one of the beds. The ring is my sister-in-law's which she had been missing for months and was beyond ecstatic to hear it was found. This speaks volumes for the company and the crew on many levels. The guys were very careful with our belongings and made a very hard job look so easy. They loaded our entire house in what I'd call record time. Once the trucks were loaded the crew had to bring everything to Mentor and attempt to pack everything into an undersized indoor unit. This proved even more challenging because the unit was located down a hallway in a building, and it was then evening with the temps dropping to 15 degrees and below. After a long hard day of non-stop labor, the crew marched on tirelessly and managed to pack the unit completely full from ceiling to floor, wall to door. Overall I wasn't sure what to expect when hiring movers for the first time, but I can confidently say that Trevor and his team at Truesdell Moving far exceeded my expectations. The crew was extremely professional, friendly, moved at speeds that I only thought Superman could, and were able to completely move our entire 4 bedroom house into storage with over and hour drive between destinations in a day. I would highly recommend these guys for any moving needs and I will definitely be calling them again this spring when we are ready to move out of storage and into our new house. Their pricing cannot be matched by a company of this caliber and I'm almost completely certain that this has been the best money we've ever spent. They really took the stress of moving down many notches. Don't be influenced by the one bozo who decided to leave a one star review. It's common curiously to tip a moving crew and after a long hard day of back breaking physical labor the least you can do is tip the crew who carefully moved your most cherished belongings with the utmost caution. If anything, her review simply reflects her own ungraciousness rather than the quality of the company. Especially if you can't pack items properly and expect a company to replace items for your own indolence. I used Truesdale's to move me a couple times and he was very rude and he didn't pay me for the things he broke and he told me not to call him again because he was negligent he doesn't even have a license to move people in Ohio call the Better Business Bureau and find out for yourself he is not licensed in the state of Ohio and he's not a good person I would never use him again then at the end of the move he stood there and told me I had to tip his workers when I already paid him in full so why would I have to tip his workers if I already paid him he's not very professional if you have to ask somebody to tip his workers after he's already been paid I will never ever recommend him or use him again!! I used Truesdell to move my items from a storage facility in Mansfield, OH to a house in Ashtabula County about 2 1/2 hours away. I originally received a quote from a big-name mover. They were going to load items into the truck on day 1, and unload at the house on day 2. Truesdell moved me in one day for almost $2,000 less. I also got a quote from another smaller moving company. Truesdell beat their quote by $300. They are a fourth generation moving company, and a family member is always on site to monitor and help with the move. There were 3 movers at the storage facility, and an additional 3 showed up at the house to help unload the truck. They were done by 6:00 p.m. Dave Truesdell did a walk through at the end to make sure I was happy with everything. I would highly recommend this moving company. read more

Definitely Trevor always returned calls, assessed my house packing, prior to moving day and came to oversee things on moving day. VERY professional and great smile His grandfather moved me into the house 26 years ago and Trevor has maintained great reputation Tito, Angelo and Daniel were absolutely the BEST, maximizing care of items, willingness to arrange things as I asked, considerate, polite, good natured and extremely efficient. My items went into storage and I will definitely use them when I go into my new home. All were just great great guys. read more
