That's what led me to Dr Yun and I wish now that I hadn't been such a big chicken before. First, the ladies who work the front desk always wore a smile and were genuinely pleasant and cheerful. I was never kept waiting. Dr Yun is a very caring and thoughtful dentist. She listens to your concerns and went out of her way, I felt, to make sure that I was comfortable. Missy was her assistant and she was a joy! The work that I had done was top quality. I am very pleased. My only complaint is having to go through the central Lee Dental system to talk to someone in the clinic. I eventually got the extension for the clinic so I could call them directly. I had a root canal that was not at all as I remembered them, and that was a major relief! This endo and his assistant (Monty and Dr. Galvan) were competent and trustworthy. I noticed that the front office was run well, too, and it just felt so much better than where I had been going. I made the switch right then. On subsequent visits, I met with the best dentist I have had in a long time, Dr. Christine Derosa. She is competent, personable, and she looked out for my finances while doing the right thing clinically. What a departure from my previous dentist office. The dental assistant and hygienist are also very personable and competent. What a joy to find a practice of this caliber. Thank you to all!

We had a mixed experience at Kitty Hawk Smiles Dentistry…read more Unfortunately, my visit started off poorly due to the front office manager, Nikki. She came across as very rude and unwelcoming. She frequently talked over me and cut me off before I could finish my questions or receive clear answers. That kind of interaction is frustrating and not what you expect from someone running the front office of a dental practice. There was also a communication issue during the appointment. The hygienist was not informed that I was receiving orthodontic treatment, so the cleaning was started without removing the braces first, which should have been addressed beforehand. That said, the back office staff was great. The hygienist was very informative and took time to educate me on proper care and how often certain treatments should be done. The doctor and orthodontic staff were also excellent--professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Overall, the clinical care itself was solid, but the front office experience and communication need improvement, as they set the tone for the entire visit.
