I did score a cool glass mixing bowl to provide water for my cats in for $2. I'm thinking that it's vintage. I also got a brown glass ramekin - great for melting butter in the microwave-for 25 cents. There was a set of beautiful wine glasses with hand painted Texas native plants on them for $2. each. I scored a set of 5 for $1.50 at Second Chance Thrift in LaGrange, so I did not get them.

They also write the prices on the inside of handbags and this kind of ruins them. The store appears to be run by an all-volunteer staff so I'll excuse them for not greeting me or playing shopping rock. Most of the clothes are for less fashion-forward clientele. I found a few trendy items and they were quite a bargain. There were lots of glass tchotchkes for collectors. It's worth a drive out here and is located in a quaint part of town. One day, I payed closer attention and saw the words, "Women's Fashion in All Sizes"... I walked in, and it was over since then. The shopping experience, the very unique pieces and customer service from the owner keeps you coming back!! All my DFW ladies, it's worth the drive.
