I called two different companies who immediately turned me down because either they were rudely busy or they were just scheduled out two weeks and for some reason I should've known that before calling apparently. I then called Specialty Carpet and Mauricio the owner of the company answers and assures me he can come out that same day. Later that afternoon he shows up and is here to get my carpets cleaned and my water services where running behind and I was embarrassed but Mauricio trusted me and said if I was sure they were coming soon he would start off and wait if needed. He assured me he was here for me and wanted my carpets cleaned. Soon after the water company is here and Mauricio and Carlos go to work. They spend time being very detailed focused, their equipment is in great shape and they use the more effective cleaning machines that don't leave you carpet soaked. He took care of my rugs too and left them in great shape, he dedicated some time to explaining the services he was doing to treat the carpet and also shared some recommendations on how to maintain my carpet. He ensured to cover all stains and he even pointed them out and set expectations on how they would look after. I was super impressed with his service and at the time of checkout we did everything digitally (CC over phone and emailed invoice). There is nothing better than having the comfort knowing I have a carpet guy going forward.

So I paid Mauricio. When I contacted him he said he was going to be away the following week but then he would come and take care of the stains. Then he couldn't come and take care of the stains for some other reason. He never came back. I contacted him and told him I wanted some of my money back and he told me he would have his accountant send me a check. That never happened either. I would never use him again, ever!

He offered us the best price of the companies that responded to our initial request, which was for the carpeted stairs and two small landings, though he did have to raise the price slightly (like $20 or so) when he arrived because our description was not quite accurate. We only used their carpet cleaning service, but I was intrigued when I saw some of the other services they offer, like special floor treatments, listed on the company's van. Clearly, they do more than just clean carpets. He didn't mind when we added to our initial request and was able to quickly quote us a new, fair price once he saw the space. Admittedly, he did end up arriving somewhat after the window he had stated, due to other jobs he had to finish, but I'm sure some jobs take longer than you expect, and it wasn't a problem for us. He was fairly quick and efficient once he arrived, I thought. He started the actual cleaning process by spraying stain remover on the worst spots. He had protection for our stairs' corners from the hoses and tubes and used booties over his shoes once the carpet was wet (as one might expect). He even moved our large, heavy bed in our master bedroom by himself so he could clean the entire carpet in there (part of our updated request). I thought we were going to move it together, but when I asked about it after he had gotten started cleaning, he said he had already moved it! He was friendly and respectful. I think he took something like 90 minutes for the whole job, start to finish, which seemed reasonable to me considering the logistics and size of the job. I told him we may call him again for the one bedroom we left out, and I meant it. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Momentum's carpet cleaning service, especially if you don't need them to come exactly in the window.

BEWARE! I used Perfectionist Cleaning for window cleaning in April 2023 and had a great experience,…read morewhich is why I hired them again in April 2026. Unfortunately, this second experience was completely different. I was told they would arrive between 9:00am-10:00am, but after multiple calls throughout the day, they didn't show up until 3:00pm. The crew that arrived did not speak English, rushed through the job, and the quality of the cleaning was poor. I had to go back and clean numerous streaks myself, and there was still bird droppings left on several windows afterward. The worst part, however, was the damage they caused to four of my window screens. One worker even knocked on my door to ask my husband to help bend a damaged screen back into shape and force it back into the window frame. (You can clearly see their cleaning supplies in the background of the attached photo of window #1.) The screens are now bent and damaged to the point that several windows can no longer be properly opened because the gaps are so large that bugs and debris can get inside. One window will not open at all because the damaged screen is obstructing it. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue and request reimbursement, Perfectionist Cleaning claimed the screens were already damaged before they arrived. That makes absolutely no sense considering we could open all of our windows before the cleaning, and now we cannot. My husband also sent photos of the damage, and they responded by claiming the photos were of "different windows." We are honest Christian people who simply wanted our windows cleaned and instead ended up with damaged property and a company refusing to take responsibility. With a baby on the way, we cannot afford the unexpected cost to replace multiple window screens ourselves. After reading other recent reviews, it appears this may be becoming a pattern for this company -- damage customers' property and refuse to fix it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
