I live in Euless and began using Truly Nolen in January of 2023. They were the FIFTH company I hired to get rid of rats in my attic. The first 6 months of service were great. They came out, sealed up the house, trapped animals and removed them twice a week. Everything was good, although we couldn't figure out truly how they were getting in. Over the summer I didn't have any activity (no shock there - I had been having the rats in the attic for 10 years at this point and their activity always decreases during the summer months). When temperatures began to cool off in the fall the activity increased. I texted my typical Truly Nolen technician (Austin) to let him know about the increase in activity again because I had some rats in the traps that needed to be removed. He came out and again looked around the house to see if any of the seals put in place earlier that year needed to be fixed. The only area that we could identify that the rats were coming in were from holes around my foundation. I had been previously advised by my technician that since the rest of the house was completely sealed up the only way they could be getting in was by tunneling under ground and then entering the home through my wall voids. The only "solution" to this was to pour concrete each time the rats dug a new access hole in the ground. My technician brought his supervisor (David) out with him the next trap check who advised him to put traps in my garage although since I had gotten new garage doors I hadn't been having activity in that area. After this visit I stopped hearing from my typical technician. I went months without hearing back from him. When it came time to renew in January 2024 I called Truly Nolen to advise them that if I got service like I had the first 6 months I would want to renew but that my service the past 4 months had been awful, as no one had gotten in touch with me at all. They promised everything would be better and sent the supervisor, David, out to my house the same day. He indicated everything was sealed up other than the new holes the rats had dug. He sent another technician out the following day to seal the hole with concrete. He promised to be in touch and that service interruptions would no longer be an issue. He did not give me his card. He has been out to the house for trap checks twice since then (I am writing this in June 2024). The second time he put traps on the OUTSIDE of my home and has left them there with animals rotting in them. If you have an issue where animals are digging to access your home do not use this company. They will seal things up with flashing and steel wool but they will NOT dig a perimeter around your home to seal up the wall voids which is the only thing that could fix my issue. To add insult to injury the supervisor, David, told me that what I was hearing were not rats in my attic but squirrels running on the top of my roof. I think I know the difference between the hollow sound of animals on the roof and the scritching, scratching, and squeaking sounds of rats and their babies (yes, I have babies in the wall right next my fireplace and I can hear them through the wall). At the very least this company could respect me by not telling me I was imaging the dead animals in my attic and the rain of rat feces that comes down on me each time I open my attic access door. read more

Call the main number and get the call center and they tell me their is nothing they can do cause the office closed at 5pm. I called Truly Nolen after 9pm one night after hearing raccoons in the attic. Someone answered and set up an appointment for the very next day. James came out to do the initial inspection, saw evidence of the raccoons and was able to confirm where the raccoons were getting in so I could seal that off. At that same time, he called his tech to see if someone could come set a trip in the attic (in case we sealed them IN the attic instead of OUT) that same day. The price seemed a little steep at first, but we were assured that for the next 365 days, if we have any other needs (raccoons, rodents, or otherwise), they will come take care of it for free, and that we can renew that same deal for $135 the following year. As much as I hope that's as good as it sounds, I also hope not need them! After 5 days of someone coming each day to check the trap, nothing was caught. We also have not heard any more sounds and have no reason to believe the raccoons are in the atiic any more. While we could have sealed the entrance and not paid a dime for Truly Nolen's service, the peace of mind knowing the animals aren't in the attic, and the guarantee of the pest service for the year to come, are worth the initial investment. read more

I recently contracted with Truly Nolan to decimate the outdoor rat population in an investment property I own. Its ironic that Truly Nolan uses a mouse as it's theme, since they cannot eliminate rodents from your yard. I now realize that this problem has to do with government regulations, which prohibit companies like Truly Nolan from using poisons, the only effective way to eliminate a rat population.The problem I have with Truly Nolan is that they claim to be able to eliminate rats but they can't. In the fine print they commit to "reduce" your rat population. In the real world they might reduce the rat population by 5%, not significant and certainty not worth the $600 they charged for a 6 month treatment plan. We were on the program for a couple of months, and Truly trapped around 6 rats at an average cost of around $25 per rat, leaving the rest of the population or 100 or more intact. When we realized they could not deliver their we terminated the contract and asked for a prorated refund. The company refused to prorate the the refund, instead insisting on recovering their costs (including $50 per trip charge), without regard to the zero value we derived from the contract. Bottom line, Truly Nolan may be able eliminate insects, but do not count on them for rodent control and don't pay up front. Your money will be better spent just buying your own rat traps. read more
