When perfection meets confection... I wish every special occasion could be celebrated with one of their cakes!

The cake was tasty and beautiful :) the only thing that i didn't like about the cake was that it was too pink. The photo that i sent had the lighter shades of pink. There was some brown spots on white fondant, but overall I was satisfied. Thank you Monika :).

We ordered a cake from Monika for our son's 8th birthday Party.The cake was very cute,all our guests loved it.Kids loved the flavor of the cake.I was busy greeting and serving people during the party,I tried the cake afterwards.I am not a big dessert person,however I loved the flavor and texture,it is TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS cake!!Since most of the parents were on their diet,they didn't even try the cake,there are lots of leftover cake for us.haha!!!absolutely delicious!!

I just ate our leftover cake for dinner. Monika's cake was for our son's baptism reception. Not only did it look like a piece of artwork, but the cake was unbelievably delicious. I think everyone who attended wanted to take a piece home with them. If you're looking for a creative cake designer who can create whatever you can dream up, this is your gal. Monika Stout is truly the best!!!! This woman knows her craft, very very well! Her cake creations are out of this world. She can create ANYTHING!!!! Her cakes taste wonderful as well as look amazing. I have had the pleasure of enjoying some of Monika's specialties over the past year. Her cakes and incredible! She made this santa claus cake for a Christmas party that I could not believe was edible. It was truly a piece of art. Not to mention it was delicious. Monika's cakes are a must see. If you have not tried Monika's cake bites you are missing out! I usually am not that big into sweets, but these I could not resist. I picked up couple dozen to bring to a dinner party for desert. The smell of them in my truck was to much to handle and I ended up eating about 5 of them before I got home. At the dinner party we put them out before hand which was a mistake, because they got demolished well before dinner was served. You must try. read more

We recently ordered a wedding cake and a groom's cake from Monika. She produced a small, but elegant wedding cake, lemon, with strawberry filling and vanilla fondant icing, decorated with fresh roses. Absolutely delicious! But what really took the cake (sorry, I couldn't resist) was the groom's cake. It was an intricate, highly detailed, replica of the groom's favorite muscle car, complete with his name on the license plate! Monika included a tasting session so that the bride and groom could chose from among the many choices of cake flavor, filing and icings. The cakes were both delicious and artistically rendered. Ordered a custom train cake. Gorgeous! And Monica is so sweet! We brought all our kids over to pick up the cake (Son's 4th BDay) and she was great with them too! Monika accommodated a rush custom cake order and was a doll to work with! After perusing the net for a baker who could make a 2 tier Tiffany & Company cake for a "Breakfast at Tiffany's" bridal shower I found her site. Wowzers! Her creations are BANANAS! I was almost afraid to request a quote.Thankfully I did! She was super easy to talk to and totally understood my vision. Prices were reasonable for a centerpiece cake. We went with an 8inch black Russian base cake with raspberry mouse filling topped with a 6inch french vanilla filled with salted caramel filling. Oh my, if it sounds good then you can just imagine. Monika made a cake this past weekend for a baby shower thrown for my sister- and it was the biggest hit of the party. Every one was in awe of how amazing this cake. We were looking for something special to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday and boy did Monika deliver! We were hoping to get a recreation of his 1965 Pontiac GTO and the cake we got was the spitting image, color and everything. She even gave him a personalized license plate with his name! Not only did it look better than expected, it tasted delicious too! Everyone raved, and even though we asked for it to feed 20 people it could have fed twice that number. Monika made an unbelievable cake for my daughter's 16th birthday last weekend. The cake was the highlight of her birthday and everyone loved it. The flavors were really great...we did a French Vanilla with chocolate ganache and a devils food with marshmallow, both of them were awesome. The detail on the cake was so beautiful and colorful and Monika obviously spent a lot of time on the decorations as they were detailed and gorgeous! The entire ordering process was made super easy with a simple contract and sketch that I could approve before anything was made. Really, from start to finish, it was a perfect experience and I am so thankful that we were able to get one of her lovely cakes before she gets her own tv show!! I read that from someone else and I totally agree...her cakes are more lovely than many of the ones that we see on tv, so I am sure it won't be long before they discover her. I would highly recommend Truly Scrumptious Cakes to anyone who wants a perfect cake at a reasonable price and an easy transaction with a really nice person. Monika made a delicious and beautiful Scrabble cake for my mother-in-law's 90th birthday. It tasted great and she handmade the individual tiles that spelled out a variety of words that we gave her. So many people were gathered around the realistic Scrabble board cake playing Scrabble with the tiles that we had to insist that people stop playing so we could cut the cake! We have used Truly Scrumptious Cakes for two major event parties and the cakes were masterpieces! You really can't believe that they are cakes until you cut into them. Delicious!! But, don't just get a cake..make sure you try some of her cake balls (sometimes they are on the decorated cakes). They are bite size pieces of heaven. We had some left over from our last big party and I put them in the freezer...just the right thing when you need a little something but wouldn't eat a whole piece of cake. I can't recommend these cakes more. They are pure perfection as a decoration and as dessert. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Monika S.

I spent years as a graphic designer, working at a drafting table with T-square and triangle, assembling the then-complex layers of commercial art. But, with the move to computers, I missed working with my hands to create something beautiful. I took a cake decorating class with the aim of making original cakes for my children. Once I began, however, I realized that this is what I was born to do. I create each of my Truly Scrumptious Cakes as an individual work of art in cake, icing, fondant and sugar. My goal is to make each one as unique as the person for whom it was created. I want your cake to surprise and delight you and, of course, to have your guests exclaim, "This is truly the most scrumptious cake I've ever tasted!"

The marshmallow alone was so amazing to watch! It was so good and made with such good ingredients. I did share a bit with my friend, but boy I had basically the whole thing to myself and it was perfect. The frozen hot chocolate was bittersweet too. So it was balanced with the cookie, marshmallow, and cream. The perfect amount of sweetness for me. It was pricey, but it was worth it! Well worth it to try it at least once! I am absolutely coming back again!

The nice thing about these donuts is that they are really light in mouthfeel. While I don't have donuts that often, my go to is usually a cake donut, cake donuts are just so dense though, and 'normal' donuts, while airy don't give you that nice bite. I think that all the donuts are the same, just topped differently, I did not see anything different other than the Mochi Ball, which they have been out of the past few times I have visited. Mochichis, has free parking in the center parking lot, and normally when you walk in, you are greeted (not my last visit), but normally. Every time other than this last time, you are sort of killed with kindness, not that the worker was unpleasant. It is small inside, but there are around 5 tables that you can sit out, I mean most donut places are small and/or have no seating at all. Unique donuts, and I love that the uniqueness is not just adding 50 toppings to make it that way.

I am SO grateful that Truly Scrumptious Cakes made my 60th birthday cake. I suggested a Hawaiian-themed cake, and Monika came through with a wonderful design that demonstrated her skills as a graphic artist. The double-layer, chocolate Russian cake (decadently made with vodka and Kahlua) tasted delicious, and it was made to look like a blue ocean with tiki gods, ocean turtles, hibiscus flowers and a ukulele. Across the top of the cake was a large sunset with "Happy Birthday" on it. It couldn't have been better. It seemed like my 40 party guests took more photos of the cake than of anything else. Ordering and delivery were flawless. I called about 2-3 weeks before the party, and Monika delivered the cake to our home about one hour before the party began...perfectly timed as planned. Monica made my daughter, Lily, the most amazing minion birthday cake I have ever seen or could have imagined! He looked absolutely real! She was so ornate when it came to the details from the tread on the bottom of his boots, to the stitching on his overalls, to the coloring on the iris of his eye. He was delicious too! White cake with Nutella filling. The hardest part was him looking at us while cutting him open! If you need a special cake definitely have Monica do it, she is a true artist. Monika Stout has made a couple of cakes for me and she truly is a cake artist. I told her my mother loved to lay on a floatie in a pool with a martini and she created a kidney shaped pool with a woman floating on a raft with her martini...it was awesome. She also makes these cake balls that are incredible. There are no word...I brought it as a gift to a party instead of wine and everyone went crazy.
