    Philly cheesesteaks w fries

I'm really disappointed, I've been eyeing this place and really looking forward to try it. But the food was really subpar especially for the price I ended up spending 18$ for everything you see in my that picture. I wouldn't have minded the steep price for a cheesesteak if it would have been better but the meat was dry and plain. No sauce was on the sand-which which made it like I said dry and a little boring. The fries were okay, I wished they were a little saltier but I understand others don't like that. I would have rated this sandwich 2/5 but the service was really good and they seemed like really nice people. So because of that I would say a 3/5. Would I come back? No, even if they lowered the price. I did not enjoy the meal. I do see the baklava are good at this location and they looked pretty good but I didn't have a chance to try them this time.

A sandwich is never just meat thrown between two pieces of bread. We have ordered from this place a few times. It's never been our first choice, but the location is better than others. If you are considering this over any other cheesesteak place in the area, DO NOT ORDER HERE, unless you can specifically look over your items in person. We did not receive what we ordered. Instead, we received dry meat and maybe a tiny bit of pepper, in our re-order of the sandwich. It was to have tomato, lettuce provolone and jalapeños. The sandwich did not have any of these items. There was absolutely no care put into it. I contacted the business to discuss paying attention or correcting the order. However, I couldn't even get that far with the man on the other end, as he was defensive from the moment I had anything to say. This is what we call poor customer service. If you own a business, you have to listen to others to improve your business. I needed to express extreme disappointment in this order, and further let the owner know he is not listening to the customer. A reminder to all, with no customers, you would not be in business. I am posting the order ticket below for the sandwich portion that clearly shows what we ordered. I had the rona vaccine this week and have not been feeling well enough to go and retrieve food. All businesses must understand that we as consumers expect at a minimum our order to be correct. It's the most important of roles right now during this pandemic. I would have liked to hear; let me help you, let's get it right, how can we correct it? Anything along this route. When a customer is seeking a solution you do not give information instead. Clearly, not listening but actively talking. Meanwhile, we need to get groceries and I am craving a steak sub. Good luck surviving, while showing no care or concern for the customer. We will be going elsewhere with our food and money. I had to throw the slop of a sandwich in the trash as it was not edible, which is what I told the business. Now, we order another meal elsewhere and wait... Note: I am a generous reviewer and if you get a one or two star review it is a rare day. #Vista #TruPhilly #TrulyDissapointing #Blacklisted

It's ok... 3rd time getting this. More meat in Philly cheese steak now. Still need more cheese and seasoning. Total came out 18 dollars for French fries and 12inch steak. The Philly steak French fries tasted better I heard dessert are better but I never tried. My co workers are telling me wings are good here. 2.5 star rounded up to 3.

I normally don't review, but this place is amazing! Overall, my experience at this Philly cheesesteak restaurant was truly exceptional. The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable, and the Caribbean chef added an extra layer of excitement and flavor to the entire dining experience. The addition of the bar has truly elevated this restaurant to new heights. It's the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal and indulge in expertly crafted cocktails. Whether you're a cocktail enthusiast or simply looking to enhance your dining experience, this restaurant's new bar is a must-visit.

Hidden gem in Vista. The sandwiches are just sooooo delicious. Full of flavor in every bite. The owners are phenomenal. Sorry Philly Frank's found my new spot

This new spot is full of flavor with their Gyro Sandwich, French fries, and orders chicken tenders for my little one! Loved how the chicken tenders were nice and thin and crisply fried! My toddler devoured them! The gyro sandwich is so full and meaty and delicious and the tzatziki sauce is creamy and full of flavor!!! For a minute I felt I was in Greece! (There in a few French fries into my Gyro since I'm obsessed and because that's the standard when I eat gyro in Greece!) oh and if you realllly want to sweeten the deal...... just pop over next door to pickup some sweets - Baklava! I can't believe north county has a place like This! It's so awesome! Thank you Truphilly! Will be back soon!

    Falafels and zesty mango sauce.

The place changed ownership several months ago. I go there because I like Gyros Salad. The salad ingredients are fresh and crisp, the Gyros meat is perfect and the tzatziki sauce is homemade. My husband loves the wings and gets those all the time. I tried some wonderful falafel and zesty mango dressing. Falafels were so crispy on the outside, tender inside, great flavor!

New Italian in sub, much smaller and minuscule and costed a lot more

When we first moved into the area we started going here because it was really good and albeit a bit expensive but worth it. We would go every couple of weeks and would get a classic Philly or Italian sub which are, again, really good. Unfortunately I'm leaving a 2 star review because when we went most recently, we felt that the sandwiches were lighter than usual on the way home. Once we did get home, we found out that not only did they very much decrease the size of the sub and amount you would get usually, but they also increased their prices greatly since we last visited. So not only are they diminishing the amount they give you, but they also raised prices, a good ol double whammy to tell us they don't care about loyalty. We won't be coming here again which is unfortunate since we really like them, but we're not going to get ripped off for less food. Owner guy, you were super cool! I don't know why you gave us such mediocre sandwiches this time around but I really hope you look at your business model and realize loyalty and long term customers make you more money than gouging us once and scaring us away for good.

dang good cheese steak and wangs. Cheese steak had tons of cheese, meat was seasoned very well and the wings were crispy. They have great baklava as well!

Best Philly Cheesesteak outside of Philly. The bread is baked fresh locally and that makes all the difference. Will definitely be back.

The food feels a little overpriced for something I could pick up at sub for half the price.

Everyone was friendly, and the customer service experience makes everything better I ordered the traditional cheesesteak with seasoned fries and ranch,m. I prefer the more common layered Philly style of thinly sliced then lightly chopped beef with slices of cheese melted on top, then onions/peppers folded in the roll. The beef is more the star in the style. As for the famously imported roll, they can save the cross-country expense as it's tasteless and wrinkly. There are many better rolls available from local commercial bakeries. A few more minor annoyances. Ketchup is only available in those messy little packets, and there are no salt and pepper shakers, just those tiny packets. And finally, what's with the 3% "Operations Fee"? A business's finances are run through a P&L, which always contains operating expenses. Given their prices and I'm sure good profit margin, any operations expenses should be built into the P&L model, not hoisted on the customer beyond the item prices. Overall, a decent sandwich and fries from a frozen bag, but for $20+ not a good value.

Walked inside thinking I was just gonna grab a burger, and next thing I know I'm wandering around looking at all the meats, marinades, sauces, chips, drinks, and sandwiches like I was about to host a backyard BBQ for the whole neighborhood. This place is dangerous if you like to cook. I asked the guy behind the counter what I should order because I wasn't trying to make a bad decision. Without hesitation he said, Aged Burger and the Philly.....Say less. We grabbed those and ordered the fries extra crispy because that's the only way fries should be eaten. Man... everything was hella good. The burger was juicy, the Philly hit the spot, and those extra crispy fries disappeared way faster than I want to admit.... They've got plenty of outdoor seating too, so we just kicked back, ate, and enjoyed the vibe. I've been around the country and the world and while you may be an expert on pizza you didn't do your due diligence here. Pop ups are cool, but if the goal isn't a brick and mortar empire you're diluting the trademark and your own brand by stumbling out of the gate. The grease stained through the wrapper and the bag, the delivery driver wasn't even driving with it on his floor. It's almost as if the meat was fried and then cheese melted on top. I've never seen this much grease on any cheesesteak. The meat was overcooked (crispy) which is not what you should be going for, the bread was wrong (hoagies are cool, but you need some crust, the good one's are almost always amoroso or maybe house made). The cheese fell all the way out. More on the wrapper than in the sandwich. Mushrooms, peppers and onions were undercooked and under seasoned.
