I have taken my vehicle to 3 other auto shops in this area, I always get this, "Well, due to the mileage on the vehicle, there shouldn`t be any issues."Excuse me, I work from home, I don`t drive it much, but I have the right to have a perfectly running vehicle when need to go somewhere. OR "If it isn`t broken, don`t fix it." This is my favorite,"You don`t drive it as much, there`s no reason for checking it often ". I`ve had so many people recommend these places and this is what I get!? THEY CALL THEMSELVES MECHANICS!?!? Guess my money wasn`t good enough for you. B & H will take it. I don`t know if B and H can find and repair anything, but I`have tears of happiness, only because they listened to me. They didn`t make me feel like I was just a typical stupid person and I didn`t know what I was talking about. EVERY driver should be listening to their car and have it checked out if they hear something weird. I wouldn`t care if they don`t find anything wrong and wouldn`t care if they sent it back not fixed (I actually do, because I do need a vehicle, BADLY, driving a short distance gives me a tiny respite). I`m just so proud to have this place take their time (even though I have cabin fever 10 x`s over, a sick family member has had me home bound since last November,I need to get out of here). I`ve been a pest to them and they have been nothing but the sweetest people, and thus the reason for me venting grudges against these other so called mechanics of Apache Junction. I APOLOGIZE to B and H for being a pest and other things. I`m going stir crazy and can`t wait to drive again. They have, 'Bringing Back Honesty In Auto Repair', on their card. I BELIEVE IT!! I`ll try to give an update later,but they are going through my vehicle with a fine tooth comb, things take awhile. I RECOMMEND this auto shop.

They gave me a great quote--significantly lower than a larger, well-known shop--and completed the work in a reasonable amount of time. They're definitely a no-BS shop, but they know what they're doing. I'd gladly use them again.

This is why I always make my mother put her calls on speaker because Steve's wife(Rochelle) and daughter, for whatever reason, have a habit of lying about things and have pretty consistently bullied my elderly mother for years. So apparently the daughter lied and said that my mother cussed her out, which she would never do, so when we got here this morning Steve told my mother you can't come here anymore instead of calling her and canceling it and having the guts to do that knowing she would be driving all the way in from Flagstaff. The behavior from his family is something documented on Reddit in several threads about mechanics around Phoenix, yelp, and other parts of the Internet so it's incredibly easy to verify this information and since his wife and daughter are now answering all of the complaints posts on yelp, I'm very curious to see how they respond to my very honest review. I also have that phone call recorded so I might post it on YouTube and link to it here to expose the obvious lying by Steve's daughter and i'm taking it to another mechanic to have them look at the work that was just done on it with the water pump and timing belt to make sure it was done correctly. In the short time that I posted this review, several people reached out expressing how many problems they had at A1 auto and recommended two mechanics in Apache Junction and Mesa and I've already spoken to both on the phone and not only are their mechanics knowledgeable, but their office staff is spectacular!! I consider this a good thing because now we have better places to get car repairs done! This community on Yelp really comes together to help people when it's needed.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Tatum's Garage. I paid Alec over $2,000 for parts…read moreand labor for multiple repairs on my BMW, including $722 specifically for shocks. Recently, I took my vehicle in to have new tires installed. While the rear tire was being changed, I noticed the shocks still had the original BMW emblem on them. This led me to believe the shocks that were charged as new had not actually been replaced. I contacted Alec about the issue, and he said he would refund my money, but I have not received any payment or resolution. He also stated he would repair the part but I will not have him touch any of my vehicles again. What makes this situation even more disappointing is that I have heard of similar issues involving other family members. My advice to anyone considering this shop is to carefully verify all work performed and keep detailed records of parts and repairs. I hope this situation can still be resolved, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend Tatum's Garage.

We purchased a minivan from Craig Arnold several.months ago. I intentionally waited to post a…read morereview to see if anything went wrong with this vehicle and, if so, how Arnold's Auto Center would respond. So something did happen.....and the Arnold's team responded beautifully! Although this van had low mileage, it is 9 years old....it looked showroom new. STILL had a bit of that new car smell. Based on the CarFax it may have been in a fleet of private rental vehicles, but wasn't driven much so sitting dormant may have contributed to the gas pump issue that popped up about two weeks or so after we bought it. The Arnold's service team inspected it, made the correct diagnosis and very quickly had me back sporting around in our new van. So grateful that we chose to partner with Arnold's for this vehicle purchase. Will go here first whenever we need another car!
