We purchased a minivan from Craig Arnold several.months ago. I intentionally waited to post a review to see if anything went wrong with this vehicle and, if so, how Arnold's Auto Center would respond. So something did happen.....and the Arnold's team responded beautifully! Although this van had low mileage, it is 9 years old....it looked showroom new. STILL had a bit of that new car smell. Based on the CarFax it may have been in a fleet of private rental vehicles, but wasn't driven much so sitting dormant may have contributed to the gas pump issue that popped up about two weeks or so after we bought it. The Arnold's service team inspected it, made the correct diagnosis and very quickly had me back sporting around in our new van. So grateful that we chose to partner with Arnold's for this vehicle purchase. Will go here first whenever we need another car! read more

Made a appointment and was told it would be a week till they would be able to get me in. I arrived at Arnold's at the specified time and was told in fact that nobody had scheduled my appointment! I explained EXACTLY what needed to be done when I first called and again when I arrived. The office worker said that in fact they didnt do this kind of work that I need to take it next door after she called them. I proceeded to take it to the shop next door and they replaced the TIre Pressure sensor as was instructed by the office worker at Arnold's. After the repairs were done I got back in my car and the traction control lights were still on. I went back into the shop that was referred to me at Arnold's and they explained EXACTLY what Arnold's had told them which was totally incorrect. I then went back to Arnolds where the office worker I spoke with immediately got up out of her chair and ran out the back door. I explained to to another gentleman what I was told by the office worker but indeed they were able to do this kind of work but it would be another week before they could get me in! The office worker then appeared out of the back and called me a damn liar. An argument insued and being called a liar more than three times I was asked to leave. This business has no clue how to treat customers or do they schedule appointments when contacted! I will NEVER go back or recommend anyone use their service they are totally unprofessional and unorganized. read more

While removing a tire this morning, one of the lug nut studs broke. Ugh! I didn't have the tools to fix the issue, so I started calling around. After numerous quotes for anywhere from $200 to $300 (for ONE broken stud), I talked to Toby at Arnold's and he asked if I could bring the car over to at least take a look. He wouldn't know for sure how much it would cost up front, but he wanted to see what he could do. I brought the car in, he took it into the shop and, about an hour later, said he could fix it for about $80. Done! I'm ashamed to say that I've driven by Arnold's for decades and only thought they sold cars. They now have a new, life-long customer! Thanks, guys!! read more

My mom and Dad have been trusting Arnold's for many, many years. Both in purchasing of cars and the servicing of them as well. Though Dad has now passed, Mom, now 93 years-old, knows she will be treated fairly for anything she needs. Recently my wife and son drove my son's 2007 Subaru from Seattle to Mesa and on the trip had a clutch failure. Once they finally made it to my Mom's place in Mesa she recommended calling Arnold's. My son got an Estimate from Arnold's and an estimate from the local Subaru dealership. They went with Arnold's due to the recommendation as well as the estimate being $800 less. During the process of repairs of couple of other items were discovered that we agreed to have them fix. There was a delay in getting the car back to my son but that was only due to the incorrect part coming from Subaru, not anything Arnold's was responsible for. In the end, all the repairs were made, the car is running great and the bill was FAR LOWER than what anyone would expect for the work and great service. Stay far away from this dealer unless you get lucky and get a decent car. I bought a 2008 Buick Enclave that they said was a good car and I would be happy with it. I told them I needed good reliable car to use once in a while when I'm in town at vacation home. Within days, noticed car shifting funny but had to go back home and didn't have time to address it until the next month when I came back. two days into my next visit, the transmission went completely out, the AC stopped working, the back tailgate closed on its own and hit two people in the head. The struts were completely shot and when it went over a bump or wavey road, it would not stop bouncing. Transmission cost 3,200 to fix at other shop and when I contacted them about compensation and the fact that they sold me a lemon, they said you signed paperwork AS- IS and you are past the 30 days. I said I know, but I was out of town because I don't live here, but there is only a couple hundred miles on it. Nothing they can do is what I was told. I took a 7,000 loss on vehicle I barely drove when I traded it in at another dealer for another car. They talk family friendly and were until you are a disappointed customer, then they don't stand behind anything, even though they have their own shop and should have had many of the things that I was unaware of, already fixed before putting car up for sale. Have vehicles checked out before you hand over your money. Better yet, go somewhere else that stands behind their product. read more

This has to do with the Body Shop my insurance company sent me there. I was pleased with the way I was treated . I got my quote and went and checked out a couple of other places that told me they were not going to do it right because of the paint chipping close to where it was it the car need to be stripped to the metal because it they just sanded it and painted the paint would crack after a year . When it came down to cashing out they sent my insurance company a totally different estimate which gave me less money. So if you take you car there for an insurance estimate don't cash out because you will get less money than what was quoted read more

My daughter brought her van into Arnolds Auto Repair in Apache Junction for an engine oil leak. Their 60 years plus technician said the oil filter base gasket was the cause of the leak and it would be near $500 to fix this engine oil leak. Between me and her mother we paid Arnolds to fix this leak. The next day she had the same drops of oil on her drive way. She took it in today and Arnolds said there are other leaks that weren't mention om Friday because they weren't noticeable by this 60 + technician. Very disappointed in Arnold's, and will NEVER do business with them again. My daughter and I bought a 2007 Buick LaCrosse approximately 4 months ago, and she began having problems with the radiator. Took it to Arnold's mechanic, and was quoted $1,200.00 to repair the car. I took the vehicle to my master mechanic, and he repaired it for about $700.00. He pulled all the radiator parts out, and had another mechanic confirm that the system had never been flushed out. Never had fluid replaced, as we were told when the car was purchased. The fluid removed was thick, brownish black, and thick as molasses. My mechanic suggested I talk to Arnold's about reimbursing my daughter for the cost of replacing the radiator, thermostat, etc. We went directly to Craig Arnold to discuss it, and request reimbursement. I showed him the receipt, and had pictures to show him of the removed parts and fluid. He became agitated immediately, raised his voice at us, and refused to listen or look at the pictures, just immediately stated he wasn't going to reimburse us for anything. He kept bringing up the fact that he gave us a good deal on the trade in, and that he couldn't salvage the trade in. I pointed out that the trade in had nothing to do with what I was saying, and asked him to lower his voice. Then he pulled up the information on the Lacrosse, and left the room without saying what he was doing. Craig went into his father, Bill Arnold's, office and we listened to them shout and discuss the issue. We waited about 10 minutes, and I went to Bill Arnold's office to tell them we had to leave, as I was very uncomfortable and shocked at how angry and unresponsive Craig Arnold was behaving toward me and my daughter. Craig took my number, the mechanic's receipt for the repairs, and said he'd call me. Bill Arnold threw his hands up in the air and said, "I don't need no receipt!" very angrily. It was unbelievably unprofessional behavior. As I already suspected, I received a phone call from Bill Arnold, the owner, later that day, stating he would not do anything about reimbursing my daughter for the repairs. He never provided documentation on the vehicle's fluids being changed before selling us the car. He was rude and condescending toward me the entire phone call, and hung up on me when I tried to ask direct questions about the issue. He said he would, "Sleep with a clear conscience tonight." before hanging up the phone. Totally uncalled for, rude, nasty interaction with the Arnold's. I had my vehicle towed from collision to Arnold's Autobody. I liked the ideal it was close to my home. They low estimated my car damage. Then after two supplemental estimates with the at Fault Drivers Insurance company things turned ugly. Sadly as the non-fault driver I became caught in the middle. Arnold's did scammed work to cut corners with my car, that cost surpassed my vehicle value more than 100%. Arnold's put two worn damaged salvage tires on my vehicle and refused to submit to fault driver insurance company when I confronted the manager with the cost of new tires. Serious additional damage was repaired at another Autobody because of falling out with me and fault driver insurance company. Never Again will I deal with Arnold's. Sorry for those that did work hard on my car; but your Owner / Manager is a scammer as far as I'm concerned. read more
