I recommend Zip N Zay highly David went above and beyond the service request, his ability to diagnose and resolve the issue was impeccable, I was sure to i would have to spend a ton on the initial self diagnosis, but he corrected the initial problem and took care of a couple of other issues I wasn't aware of, apparently my regular mechanic was charging without doing any work I was charged for in the pass and inappropriate maintenance , it was apparent by the fluid leak showing in the hoses and the battery tray not even fastened properly. I reached out to David based on his online reviews and the convenience of his location as he's practically a neighbor. Unfortunately, my experience was marked by consistently poor communication from the start. It took days between his responses. David came out to assess my vehicle and charged a $50 fee. I chose to move forward with the repairs, he advised me not to drive the car in the meantime. Taking that seriously, I arranged for a rental vehicle for a week while waiting for his next available appointment. The night before the scheduled repair, I messaged David to confirm our appointment. He read the message but never responded. The following day, which was the day he was supposed to show up, came and went, still no word from him. This situation ended up costing me not only the $50 fee, but also over $300 in rental fees, not to mention the inconvenience of rearranging my schedule. ****UPDATE**** David you're absolutely right I'm a business owner as well and when I tell a customer what their warranty is I stand behind it. You verbally told me yourself you changed your warranty to a 1 year warranty because that's what everyone else offers. I have it on recording. Not one time has anyone affiliated with me harassed you or your family. The cheaper route was not taken and there is no cheaper route to take on routing of factory battery cables it was lack of quality on the installer (being you). if I chose the cheaper route I would not have paid to replace a battery cable with a inline fuse that you shorted out and I would not have paid to replace the solenoid that you broke during installation of battery cables. David is extremely unprofessional. Had him do battery cables on my truck and he routed them incorrectly and rubbing on bolts on top of that he also caused other issues with the charging system on the truck and broke one of the solenoids causing me to have to replace more stuff to get my truck going again. I have asked him for over a month to send invoice for the work he has performed he refuses to send invoices and when I finally got ahold of him he instantly hangs up when he finds out what the issue is. Had an Electrical short which affected my headlights. Was in for a nightmare and it became a dream. David was extremely professional, communicative and prompt. Made me hopeful just through his text explaining why he felt comfortable with already knowing where the problem was just by my description. He was 100% right. All diagnosed, parts obtained and fixed under 4 hours. The cost... very reasonable, I was shocked when he told me what I owed him because I was expecting it to be so much more. He has definitely made a customer for life. Zip & Zay Mobile Repairs saved the day!! We needed help removing this insanely stuck oil filter that was ripped to shreds when changing the oil. We tried nearly everything & it simply would not budge. We called Zip & Zay for help and luckily David was able to stop by same-day. Turns out the last shop cross-threaded the filter at install & David was finally able to remove the filter without any damage to the threads or the manifold. Zip & Zay is the real deal. I called Zip N Zay based on reviews. Our experience with David, HANDS DOWN ,the best experience I have had with a mechanic in years. I called on Monday, he promptly answered. We made appt. for Wednesday am. He confirmed night before-gave me heads up when he was 30 minutes out on day of appt. My daughters truck was leaking power steering fluid. We could not confirm if it was hose, pump or steering rack itself. He immediately found the hose leak and told us he did not want to start putting parts on until he was sure what was going on. He replaced hose leak- got air out of fluid-sprayed down pump and steering rack area to further confirm that they where not leaking. He determined that the hose was the problem. We have already made an appt for next week, to come and diagnose any other problems he may see. He does this for $50. Go anywhere else and its $145.
