Hired once, declined once. Manual came both, first time was the leak from upstair unit toilet, he cut my ceiling and found the leak no time, paid $170 for diagnostic. Second time, called pipe replacement of drainage with garbage disposal, an appointment was between 9 and 11 am, got here after 11, said pluming was done incorrectly, I need to give up disposal, redo plumbing without it for $430, I asked to send quote by email and let him go. After hydrojetting our drain back in 2025, we reached back out to TR for a gas water heater installation. There were a few bumps along the way this time - but the end result worked out just fine. - A couple of mistakes made by the original estimator resulted in additional surprise charges we didn't expect on the morning of installation. Leo, the plumber doing the install, supported us 100% re: these charges. Exceptional customer service. - As per the city and gas inspectors, follow-up adjustments were needed after the initial installation to meet code compliance. Leo made all the requested adjustments - he was very easy to work with. Appreciated Eddie who coordinated permitting and re-inspections. Robin squeezed us into a jam packed schedule, ensuring modifications needed for permit approval were made within 24 hours. Every company will have issues at some point. It's how they handle them that matters. I selected this company based on the favorable reviews. We spoke with someone and explained what was going on and were told that someone would be out that afternoon between 1-3 pm. We received a call from the service tech before 1:00 pm letting us know that he was on his way. When he got to our house, we told him what was going on. He was able to fix the problem and even found the outside clean-out plug in our yard that my husband was going crazy trying to find. Excellent prompt service. Jose was great and kind and knew what he was doing. The pricing is very reasonable. This is our second time using trust rooter, and I don't foresee us using any other plumbing company. They have been great both times! The first time we had a really big project where our pipes that were cast-iron essentially disintegrated and needed to be repaired with PVC. We hired Trust Rooter to replace our leaking hot water heater inside our condo. We prescheduled several days ahead of time since we were out of town, and the technician arrived on time within the service window. He did great/fast work replacing our water heater and changing a broken valve. He noted a few code-compliant updates he made, which I also appreciated. He was very kind and professional, and also worked while my kids were being loud nearby, which is not easy/fun. The hot water heater is working well and we have no complaints there. The issue that arose after TR left was in our bathroom. I immediately found a new crack on our toilet base. The technician asked ahead of time to use the toilet to drain the hot water heater, which I consented to. I know this is a new crack because I had just previously cleaned/wiped the toilet before he came. We called the company to report the issue and after a lot of back and forth, they claim there is no way their work could have cracked the toilet. I also do not want to make any false claims, but I definitely know that the toilet was not cracked before Trust Rooter arrived. TR was very friendly and respectful while we discussed the complaint and offered a small discount (see below) to replace the toilet, but we chose to go another route to replace the toilet as we have lost trust in TR. EDIT: the offer to replace to toilet was 20% off the toilet cost and 40% off labor. read more

Lee was awesome and spent a lot of time listening for a leak throughout my entire home. He ultimately had to replace the shutoff valve to my home. Then was able to pinpoint and locate the leak, which fortunately was outside. He arrived on time and worked diligently locating the leak. He was professional and kind answering my many questions. Woke up this morning and discovered a water leak in my laundry. Pulled the washer away from the wall and sure enough one of the hose bibs was leaking very slowly. Got onto yelp and requested plumbing companies to submit their name for consideration. After looking at several, I picked the one with the top rating, which was Trust Rooter, and gave them a call. They set up an appointment within the hour. In the meantime, another company that submitted their name for consideration showed up at my door uncalled. They basically lied to me and claimed to be Trust Rooter. They offered me an estimate, and also said I needed mold remediation for water that leaked behind the wall. They told me they would bill my insurance company directly. I don't think so! Thankfully, before they started, Leo from Trust Rooter showed up. He beat their estimate, got to work quickly and took care of the repair. His work was impeccable and he was a very nice young man. Since I had him there and could see the quality of his work, I had him replace two hose bibs on the outside of the house that had not worked for several years.
