The family running this company cares. I sat with my dog for an hour in their office saying good bye to the love of my life while she unthawed. Never once did they make me feel uncomfortable. I recently had my horse cremated here. They picked up my horse from the place I was boarding him at. When they picked up my horse they were very professional and respectful. Today I picked up his cremains from their facility in Anoka. It is a very clean and nice looking place. The employee there was very helpful and expressed sympathy for my loss. I also received a sympathy card signed by all of the staff. I greatly appreciate that they made this difficult time for me much easier by professionally taking care of transporting my horse and cremating him. I recommend them to anyone that needs a horse or other beloved animal cremated. read more

We have used the cremation services of Midwest Cremation/Anoka MN at least a dozen times over the past 18 years! We pay for the Priority Service which allows us to bring our deceased pet in ourselves, stay there for the whole process and then leave with our pets cremains. As a result of the time we've spent there, we have become familiar with staff and with their work ethics over the years and we can honestly say that we would never go anywhere else! We trust them implicitly with our most precious fur babies and have recommended them to many friends, co-workers and family members over the years! In regard to the fire they experienced several years ago that another reviewer mentioned - that was a devastating experience for the owners and staff there and certainly not something they'd wish upon anyone. Could not believe it! When I woke up on 2/19 the cremation service MCS had burned to the ground. I completely lost my best friend, skittles, in the blaze. The company still has not contacted me regarding what is going on. I would never recommend anyone take there beloved animal to this irresponsible company. Please do not make the same mistake I did. read more
