Throughout the entire planning process, they were consistently kind, responsive, and so easy to work with, which made everything that much smoother. The buggy they bring is the cutest thing ever and added such a unique, charming touch to our wedding. We especially loved it since it's from Italy--where we got engaged--which made it feel even more special and meaningful. My tables and chairs were not delivered as promised, which was two days before the event and the company was completely unreachable no calls returned, no emergency contact, and no response on social media. With no updates and my event at risk, I was forced to hire another company and pay in full. South Party Rental finally showed up at noon on the day of the event, which was two days after the scheduled delivery and after I had already secured replacements. This is a clear breach of contract and highly unprofessional. I do not recommend this company. I am currently waiting for a refund!

A year later I learned my lesson and ordered him a sign way ahead of time even though he still can't read. When we found out our schools in the Chicago North Shore would be going remote Thanksgiving to MLK day we decided to head down to Florida...and would be there for his bday. That meant I needed to cancel my sign back home, but quickly looked in similar companies in South Florida. It turns out bday yard signs are as popular down here and I found event YardCard here on Yelp. There weren't any reviews (happy to be their 1st), but I booked it and hoped for the best. The total (with tax) came to $112, which is on par with bday yard signs in Chicagoland. The day before they followed up with me on my exact address and asked that we put their name in with our guard gate so there wouldn't be any issues when they set it up at 6am. We called it in and I looked forward to the bday boy waking up to a happy bday sign. Unfortunately, I woke up that morning to an issue with the person who sets up the signs not being able to get thru the guard gate because somehow they had her wrong name. They mean biz at these guard gates! Fortunately, she was flexible and came back later on after setting up another one. In the meantime, while they were setting it up we did a bday scavenger hunt where my son searched for his presents. At the end I was so excited to show him his dinosaur themed bday sign. It was the perfect decor for his Florida bday. And the next morning they came to take it down and no issues at the guard gate this time (phew). Since we have all winter bdays in my house there's a chance we could be back to celebrate more future bdays in sunny Florida so thrilled to know of this company for bday signs.

We rented tables, table clothes, & chairs from Absolute Event Rentals for my daughter's medical…read moreschool graduation and Air Force promotion party, and many of the folding chairs were so rusted they were unsafe to use and aesthetically would've ruined the upscale party we put together, had we used them. We had to scramble on the day of the event to borrow chairs from friends. When I raised the issue, the response was dismissive. After several emails, they admitted they had gone through their inventory but still offered nothing for the unusable chairs. When I requested a discount for a future event, I was told to inspect every chair myself at pick-up and that 'no discount would be given.' How can they completely dismiss me after I was willing to give them another chance? As a retired hospitality professional, in Palm Beach, I find this level of customer service unacceptable. I recommend choosing another rental company that values its customers and ensures proper quality inspections.
