One star and not good is an understatement. Even though the crew was very nice.The owner is absolute moron and a racist at minimum , a bigot. I have emails to prove it. They lied and refused to come back out to my home after the work.They did caused 2 major floods in my home. After I reached out to the owner, he said it wasn't his problem, and that's why he doesn't help people like me , even though I showed him video proof of an active leak over five gallons of water a day from a hole , they did not seal. On top of that, when I asked for a drain to be installed at the base of my basement door they broke a French train that supports all the water runoff to my property and they broke it at the lowest point which caused water to run under my foundation and seep up through my floor ruining my floors and home again. They just had the nerve to email me about upgrading my home. Even though I know it is probably automated, it definitely prompted me to let other families know to never trust this company. 47k in work , paid in full and refused to come look at their work less than a month later. read more

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! SCAM ALERT!!! DO NOT TRUST They came out to look at our heater. said they couldn't replace the gas valve so they would need to charge us 3500 to replace the heater. They charged us 125 for this assessment . Something didn't seem right to me. I watched a couple videos online and realized that the problem was the thermocouple . I went out and bought one for $8.28 and replaced it myself . The heater is now working perfectly . He should have been honest when he looked and saw the corroded thermocouple . I would consider this company a scam. This is honestly embarrassing that I could do this myself and regret agreeing to their fee. Next time your gas heater at home is having issues just call me instead. read more

We used "Trusted" (an ironic word for this company) Plumbing and Heating to replace our entire water plumbing system and water heater about 2 years ago. The installation went fairly well. The person in charge (Nathan) was good but wasn't getting good helpers from the company. Eventually, the installation was done, and all was good. Now, two years later, the pilot light on the water heater won't stay lit. I called "Trusted" and set up an appointment. In the meantime, I called Rheem/Ruud and since the water heater was still under warranty, they sent me the part needed and gave me a courtesy labor allowance for installation. I called "Trusted" back to schedule a new appointment and let them know the part would be here the next day. They were able to come out the next day, so the appointment was set. The part came on time and "Trusted" came very soon afterwards. Then the problems started. Since I had a courtesy labor allowance from Rheem/Ruud, I asked how much it was going to cost to install the part. The technician called the office and was told the cost would be $500. This $500 included the cost of labor AND the cost of the part, which I already had from Rheem/Ruud. They were planning to install the part, charge me and then get reimbursed by the company. I guess I might have gotten some sort of refund from "Trusted" after they were reimbured by the company, but I have my doubts. That's quite the racket. Anyway, if you are still reading after this long story, the moral of the story is: if you use this company to get any sort of new plumbing done, don't expect any customer service afterwards - because there isn't any. In fact, quite the opposite. It cost me $99.08 for them to come out and tell me I was about to get ripped off. For your sake, if you are looking for a plumber, hopefully you read this first. The first time they came out and helped install a new drain clean out and blew our roots out of my drain line. Jim worked with me on my budget and the quality of work he provided was great! Having them pin the power cord against the piping, reset it, trouble with setting it up and having to reset it made the installation not feel so professional for the amount paid. I had Nathan C out to inspect and diagnose our drainage issues. Toilets were gurgling and eventually stopped flushing. Nathan flushed a few times, got on the roof, and claimed the work to be completed. The bill was $400! We paid it, and 33 days later, it got worse. Toilet leaking, washing machine won't drain, shower, the works. I called them back for assistance and the lady said I have to pay another $50 to diagnose the issue. Fool me once shame on me.... These people are wonderful! They came out last minute, did a fantastic job fixing my broken/root filled sewer line, and added a clean out all for a super reasonable cost. They even did some extra work without being asked, without charge, because they deemed it necessary to get the job done right. The guy left me a message on my phone 15 min prior to appointment time (confirming my appointment) who does that 15 minutes before an appointment? I didn't get the message till much later. He then said that he was at my house from 8:30-9a waiting for me (that is a lie since I was outside my house waiting for them from 8:30-11a). Came home from work to my hot water tank flooding my garage. Called around and was pleased and thankful to find this company who said they could fix the next day. First I was told they would be here between 10 and noon, but closer to ten. By 11:30 I hadn't heard from anyone so I called back and was told I was on the schedule for 12 to 1pm. Ok fine....still trying to be grateful they could get it replaced today. 2pm comes and still no water heater.....call again and told he is still at least an hour plus away, but on his way. Had to reinstate Yelp for this hot mess! So, I really had a bad taste in my mouth after my initial visit in July 2016. I had "Trusted Plumbing" come to fix a possible leak in my toilet and while they were here I had them look at my kitchen faucet that dripped due to a leaky washer. They replaced the cock/ball in the toilet. It was supposed to be new and help save water. It would take a long time to refill the bowl, but OK. It seemed to work fine. (We will return to that later.) When it came to the kitchen sink faucet, they said they couldn't replace the washers and I would have to get a whole new fixture. So $500 later I had a new sink and with the toilet it was over $700! Fast forward to September 2017 when I get a call from neighbors saying they hear rushing water. Turns out the tank was empty and trying to refill. I ended up calling a different company to fix the problem. When I called Jim, he said his work was only guaranteed for a year and then he tried to put me on hold. If I have learned one thing in life, never trust a company that calls themselves Pros, Best or Trusted. I will be the judge if you are to be trusted or not. I fully represent and speak on behalf of persons who were on site AND the persons who were billed AND paid for this repair, not to mention I have personally interacted with personnel at Trusted, including but not limited to the owner himself. Trying to silence me/my reviews are extra reprehensible ON TOP OF the prior awful experience. No amount of their/his excuses on account of the type of company and their way of doing things can justify their sly attempts to silence my reviews while commenting publicly disrespectfully and dismissively of me where they can and already have. We've observed this company has been similarly challenging low-star, negative, detailed reviews of other former customers. Instead of trying to "hush up" truthful albeit reviews they don't like, perhaps Trusted Heating & Plumbing would do better to re-examine its policies, rates, practices and etc. and work on just how to improve. [End EDIT] This company was hired Summer-Fall of 2016** for a replacement of just two pipe complement/joint parts, made out of plastic PVC, underneath a sink. The service person was in and out in approximately 30 minutes. Imagine our unpleasant surprise when we were to pay a total amounting to several hundreds of dollars for such a quick, simple repair. They didn't even bother with a properly itemized invoice first. In addition, some of the contact information was posted incorrectly on their website (I do hope they fixed it by now after I told them), and the (trade?) license number listed as part of their official business heading is so small and almost illegible on the invoice/bill. Moreover, no business license number was listed on the invoice I received OR their website, so I took the pains to go through the local** government to get them myself. It doesn't seem very professional and honest to not clearly display those numbers upfront where customers can see. After some exchange of communications across various channels such as over the phone and emails a good amount of time, this company explained their practices on account of being a "Flat rate company," but after consulting few other local professionals in this service area, it rather feels like** this business is clearly pushing stuff on and overcharging their unknowing customers and getting away with it. I/my reviews do not seem to be alone, as** echoed by several other reviews I have now seen and read across various review sites. Contacted Trusted Plumbing and Heating on a Thursday for a estimate on replacing my sewer line in front yard. Jim Cunningham came on Friday and gave me a very good estimate. I called his office that day and requested they replace my sewer line. They came on the following monday and replaced the sewer line that day. My furnace has been not coming on when it should as its 60°'s in my house downstairs atm... it comes on for like 20 mins and then goes off.. Called these guys out to figure out a problem with my furnace. Guy came out 45 mins late and said there was nothing wrong with it (it was working when he got there)... They left saying nothing was wrong with it and to keep an eye on it. I called them back about an hour after he left and booked an apt for following Monday. Today rolled on and they missed their apt time. I called the company and asked what was happening and they said they couldn't make it today. I asked why I wasn't called and was met with nothing. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I was talking to him (Jim) and he was also the guy who came out... He said they would not make it today and he didn't see the point as everything was working fine. I asked him what he meant and he pretty much told me I need to find a new HVAC guy... I hung up and did just that. I will say they didn't charge me for coming out, which was nice but still terrible customer service and what an attitude. :( Stay away from these guys. *editing due to company reply* So couple of things: 1.) For a start you showed up 45 minutes late, and only stayed for around 45 minutes... Yes you went in my crawlspace but that is where the furnace is, yes you checked my filters and registers but as I said to you on the day it was an intermittent problem and if you turned up on time the system wasn't working.... 2.) The WiFi thermostat was installed over 2 years ago and has had NO issues at all... 3.) Not sure what you are on about about me saying I was out of work... I am currently working plus just got a new job starting in the new year... No idea where this came from... 4.) I mentioned you didn't charge me and gave you props for that. 5.) I didn't just call on Monday, I booked an appointment for monday the day you left the week before and you should stick to your appointment times or at least let the customer know you cannot make it... I had to call 30 minutes after you missed the 2 hour time window on Monday. 6.) You was the one who told me I would need to find another company, as you couldn't make it. JIm charged me $1,000 to install a p trap and venting for a washing machine waist water hose. All pipe was plastic. The area he worked in was an unfinished basement and was easy to work in standing straight up and had no obstructions. It took him about 2 hours to complete the project. Because we were in a time crunch to sell the house I did not have time to get several estimates. I was pretty sure this was a pretty high bid but did not know until after I spoke to a few other experienced plumbers and handy men, just how high. Especially considering his finished work, and he did tell me this in advance BTW, was not going to meet code. I am very upset that in today's world you either have to know everything about everything or get railed by those who you have to "trust'.
