Mark from top heating and cooling was very helpful. I had another company install a Bosch heat pump 5+ years ago that developed a leak and turned off from low pressure. I didnt get good vibes from the original company when I asked them about repairs and warranties, especially when I asked them why it failed and why I should expect it to not fail again. Mark was super helpful. There were actually somehow multiple spots where the line set was kinked and leaking due to the original installers error. My thermostat was not cooling in recent hot weather and decided on a Nest Learning thermostat, which was installed 3 separate times but each time blew hot air in high 80's temperature. I thought may be the heat pump is malfunctioning and hired Mark and Alex of Top Heating and Cooling to determine the problem. They came and decided the heat pump is working well with no repairs necessary. Then, they volunteered to install the Nest Learning thermostat and was successful in first try. Mark is particularly knowledgeable not only on installation but also programming the set up on the Google Home App. I asked them to come back to service the heat pump but they said the heat pump does not need servicing. Amazing service. The heater in my condo in the Bellevue Towers stopped working. After a week of calling the recommended service providers (two even came to the place only to tell me that the heater is "too complex" after one look), I stumbled upon Max here. Max came in the evening, diagnosed the problem, sent me the estimate immediately and said "It's a simple issue, just need to check if we have the part in stock, or if not I can order it and it will be here the next day. I can let you know in the morning before 8am". He did, they had the part, he came to my place at 8am, and literally took 30 seconds for the heater to start working again from being broken. Price - extremely reasonable and expected, and especially given how quickly everything was resolved. I would not mind paying even more given how much people were charging for "emergency service", which this was not really, but was treated as such. The scheduling person was quick and very responsive and gave updates when they were 30 minutes away the day of service. The representatives were polite and respectful, covering their shoes when they entered the house. The first time they came by, they recommended we replace our dirty filter, so, we did and unfortunately that did not resolve our issue. I could find nobody available till middle of the following week. Then I found TOP who promised to send a tech first thing Monday (they don't work weekends). Mark showed up on time, after letting me know he was on his way 40 minutes before. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty pressure switch.
