Mark from top heating and cooling was very helpful. I had another company install a Bosch heat pump 5+ years ago that developed a leak and turned off from low pressure. I didnt get good vibes from the original company when I asked them about repairs and warranties, especially when I asked them why it failed and why I should expect it to not fail again. Mark was super helpful. There were actually somehow multiple spots where the line set was kinked and leaking due to the original installers error. Mark came out to our house because I was having issues with my furnace and water heater. He said he would come between 12 pm and 2 pm and he arrived at 12:15 pm. He quickly figured out the solution to get my water heater and furnace working. He was very honest with me when I asked about the thermostat. He told me it was not necessary to change it. I still decided to go with a new one because the old one gave me so my problems. I gave him a 5 star rating because he absolutely deserves it. The house was really cold 56 degrees and we needed a tech who is honest and skilled. I put his magnetic business card on my frig and will call him again if I have any issues. My existing thermostat did not have enough wiring to support the dual fuel setup, but Mark and team helped run new wiring. Amazing service. The heater in my condo in the Bellevue Towers stopped working. After a week of calling the recommended service providers (two even came to the place only to tell me that the heater is "too complex" after one look), I stumbled upon Max here. Max came in the evening, diagnosed the problem, sent me the estimate immediately and said "It's a simple issue, just need to check if we have the part in stock, or if not I can order it and it will be here the next day. I can let you know in the morning before 8am". He did, they had the part, he came to my place at 8am, and literally took 30 seconds for the heater to start working again from being broken. Price - extremely reasonable and expected, and especially given how quickly everything was resolved. I would not mind paying even more given how much people were charging for "emergency service", which this was not really, but was treated as such. The scheduling person was quick and very responsive and gave updates when they were 30 minutes away the day of service. The representatives were polite and respectful, covering their shoes when they entered the house. The first time they came by, they recommended we replace our dirty filter, so, we did and unfortunately that did not resolve our issue. We had them return a week later and they found the unit needed some cleaning and that seemed to fix it. I could find nobody available till middle of the following week. Then I found TOP who promised to send a tech first thing Monday (they don't work weekends). Mark showed up on time, after letting me know he was on his way 40 minutes before. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty pressure switch. He checked around and only available parts were universal which he did not recommend. I took his advice and okayed the specific part which was available in 1-2 days. 5 Stars !!!. My 20+ year old water heater was finally leaking, and I reached out 4 different companies to get estimates. Mark offered the best price (one company quoted me almost twice of Mark's offer..) and also he was available to come out the very next day and finish the work the same day. Since my water heater was very old, and everything was not up to the code gas valve was outdated, there were galvanized pipes attached to the water heater, and no expansion tank. Mark was able to address all of them. Also he recommended to replace old air duct pipe above the heater which was rusty and had holes and he gave me very reasonable price for it. with all that extra work Mark was still the best bid that I got.
