This is an upscale experience with reclining seats that includes 2 seats per pod. Super cozy for a date night. Complimentary blankets are included at every seat for your enjoyment, at no additional cost. Now let's get to the fun part! IPIC is not your typical movie theater as they have a full bar with cleverly crafted cocktails, my favorite had to be the Lavender Lemonade. It's cool and refreshing and so esthetically beautiful that you question if you should drink it or admire it. But wait there is more, on top of having a full service bar they also have a full menu! Yes you still have the typical popcorn and candy option but they also include such dishes as spicy tuna on crispy rice, charcuterie and cheese platter, lobster rolls just to name a few. Everything is savory and delicious! They do validate parking, allowing guests to park in the garage for a discounted rate. Validation usually brings the cost to approximately $3-$3.50 for 4.5 hours. The cost of tickets range from $14 - $28 per ticket. I have come many times and plan on coming back many times more. IPIC has officially become my favorite theater!

When we politely notified the food runner, he immediately caught an attitude and never came back to check on us or resolve the issue. The ambiance is only decent if you're comfortable sitting in chairs that squeak and make noise every single time you move throughout the movie. It became distracting pretty quickly. To make matters worse, they automatically add an 18% gratuity without clearly notifying you, and apparently it doesn't matter how terrible the service is because they will not remove the charge. Paying premium prices for bad food, poor service, and an uncomfortable theater experience is not something I'd recommend.

I believe there was also a minimum age as well. At ticker purchase you select your dinner option and can list the people with whom you wish to be seated. It is located inside of a hotel so parking was free. The event begins for you pretty much as soon as you check in and are shown to your table. Everyone with a name tag is a suspect. Some instructions are available at the table and it is an interactive event. You are given some time at the beginning to mingle and gather clues for suspects. The actors perform their skit while incorporating various members of the audience. The audience is given more clues and you have to do your write up on who the kill is and what happened. The winner gets a prize at the end of the show. The dinner consisted of rolls with a salad with 2 dressing options, an entree of vegetables or vegetables with choice of chicken or salmon and a slice of cheesecake for dessert. It was just ok, nothing to write home about. Water, unsweetened tea and coffee was included. They offered a cash bar or you could purchase drinks from the hotel lobby bar. The whole thing lasted about 3.5 hours with a few breaks/intermissions. It was decently entertaining, I had several good laughs. Overall it was an OK event for a new experience. I enjoyed the entertainment but found the food to be lacking. Thus, I feel the event was a bit over priced. The experience is going to be more or less what you make of it. In this case, I'll have to leave you to decide for yourself if you'd like to try it.

None of us had ever been before, so we didn't fully know what to expect -- but it ended up being such a memorable Sunday evening. We were able to get the group discount (if you have 15+ guest), and tickets came out to about $57 per person after taxes and fees, which felt reasonable for dinner and a show. We were originally scheduled for January, but had to reschedule due to the two "winter storms" we had -- the process was smooth and hassle-free, which we appreciated thanks to Wendy the Group Ticket Rep. We all decided to dress up, which honestly made the experience 10x more fun. If you're planning to going, I highly recommend getting into character. The show was about 1.5 hours long and kept everyone entertained the entire time. Even though our team lost (still a little salty about that ), the energy, cheering, and crowd involvement made it a blast. The food was better than expected! The chicken was surprisingly juicy, and the corn was actually the standout of the meal. Everything was served hot and fresh. Shout out to our Server i believe her name of Melissa or Melanie. She played along with wondering what "utensils" were when I was using them during the meal. Overall, it was such a fun group outing and perfect for celebrations. Definitely a great experience, especially if you've never been before!

Check in was a little chaotic - line was super long even for VIP and it was a little hectic trying to figure out where the heck to go. None the less we got seated and it was amazing. We got front row and had the best time. The bar drinks were weak and low quality liquor so I'd that skip next time. Food was meh but youre honestly there for the experience. There is no silverware but you could ask for it but everything is finger food. Our server Brianna was great. The show was the best part - we had so much fun and we were loud LOL. If you go be sure to get Queens Royalty, get there early, dress up, and sit front row. Bring earplugs if noise bothers you. Also, our blue knight won and we were feral. One recommendation is build in the gratuity within the ticket so people dont have to worry about it.

It was complete vibes to go with the dim atmosphere and cool artwork. Nakia has to be the best bartender because out of the three we had she was making the drinks perfectly. She also suggested great food choices which were the jerk rolls and the catfish and grits. The jerk rolls are a must order item and I've never had anything quite like them. They were filled with Collard Greens and jerk chicken which sounds crazy, but it actually went extremely well together. When dipped in the jerk sauce, the taste is just impressive. You will not regret ordering this. The catfish and grits were also really good. The catfish was hot and crispy and although the grits were a bit sweet (I don't think they had sugar in them), Nakia explained that it was to counter some of the spice in the sauce which made a lot of sense. I would totally order this again as well. Also, this place has a rooftop! The rooftop has a full bar, seating (tables and booths, first come first serve seating), hookah service and the DJ (mainly playing 2000s rap and r&b) was doing his thing up there as well. The only complaint I have is the eventbrite invite stated that the tickets to the day party came with a free mimosa but no one that worked there seemed to have gotten the memo. Please fix this... Prices were pretty up there too but that's about par for most bars in Atlanta these days. Despite this issue the place is actually a pretty cool place to hang out in. I would definitely come back.
