I've been driving past this restaurant for a while and decided to try them out, A bar/restaurant. A medium size place with counter top and booth tables to sit and dine or you can sit at the bar. They have several TV's playing different channels for everyone. We were seated immediately, it wasn't crowded but we came in between brunch and dinner so we had to wait until after 5 to order for dinner. Our waiter was Garnett, a very nice and attentive young man. Our order is in the pictures below. The food was really good, I will be returning to try other items on the menu. My one complaint is I have to pay $.75 for some gravy that was really greasy but I got over that after tasting the food . Had a good experience from the staff to the food. This was the perfect spot for a quick brunch. We got there around 12 and were able to be seated immediately. We opted for the bottomless brunch and it's truly bottomless, food and drink. You get 90mins bottomless mimosas and bottomless items from the brunch menu. Yes, the food isn't cheap, but it is worth every dime because it is PHENOMENAL. kisses to the chef because whether its an in house order or a doordash/uber delivery the quality slaps every time, and the portions are large. Came here on a calm Wednesday night last week and sat at the bar. I had two strong rum punches. Bartender was heavy handed with the Wray and I'm here for it.. "More rum"!! Two drinks I was smiling hard and vibing to the tunes they had playing. I had codfish fritters as an app 6 out of 10. Had better but it was still decent. Went here last night about 12:45AM was seated immediately by our waitress. I think she's Trini definitely not jamaican, 15 mins later she came back and asked if we wanted to order drinks we said yes she came back about 20 mins later with the drinks dropped them off and literally walked away. The potatoes were really delicious coated in a light salt seasoning and the pepper shrimp were good, not really spicy at all but still good. Apparently Sunday Brunch is their best kept secret! The festival AND fried breadfruit! IYKYK that breadfruit is not common now a days so I was pleasantly surprised to see it on the menu. The chicken and waffles was really good. We came to truth yesterday after a visit to a nearby haunted house. The vibe is very festive, it's open and airy inside with tables spaced out appropriately. The playlist was amazing. Our server was super friendly and made great recommendations. We started with a round of drinks my friend got the virgin Mojito and I got the Malibu sunrise. Both drinks were made very well, my drink was beautiful. We did wait a long time for food to come out but when it did, we were very very impressed. Jerk chicken was juicy, with enough sauce. The garlic mashed potatoes that my friend got on the side were absolutely delicious and banging. Fried plantains were crispy and hot although I do wish that the Tostones came with a garlic, dipping sauce of some kind. The rice and peas were delicious, but a little bit on the dry side. I could taste the coconut in the rice, which I think is such a great touch. My jerk style Branzino Fish was absolutely phenomenal. The spices on it were amazing and the skin was cooked to perfection. There were lemon wedges in the belly of the fish, which added moisture and much-needed acidity to cut through the spices. This dish was phenomenal and I'm very happy that I was recommended to order this. One of my friends did order a side of mac & cheese with our meal, and we were very disappointed with that. It tasted kind of spoiled and not good, and we could not eat it. The manager was super understanding about it though, and took it off of our bill and apologized profusely. Other than the small hiccup and long wait for food I think this is a really great place for a pleasant semi fancy meal with friends and family.
