He kept coming around and checking on us to make sure we was satisfied and didn't need anything. Love the hospitality and the food. The oxtail Mac and cheese was 10/10. The food was decent & the drinks HIT!!!!!. The music selection could use some improvement. Gratuity is automatically included - ok no problem... What got me was the fact that the waitress told us that gratuity & tip are not the same thing. They both are paid out to the waitstaff. It just seemed like the waitress was trynna get extra money out of us. Was her service good - yes I'll give her that. I understand checking ids against cards being used but to take my card & license & walk away with it? . Not too comfortable with this, especially in a time when identity theft is on the rise. We sat at the bar where the venue manager and another bartender took great care of us. The staff's camaraderie really stood out and made the experience even better. Queens is a halfway point for both of us. We decided to go to this lounge because my friend saw it pop up in Insta. They offered a Mother's Day brunch and it wasn't too far from our hotel, so we decided to go. Got there 1236 and they were still setting up (cool, we waited because we wanted to support our fellow Jamaicans). We finally got appetizers (which were GREAT), dinner was .... Ok - too salty but we still weren't mad at it. The drinks were good - I'm not a drinker - then we got the bill. $165 for both of us - no issue there. Handed the bartender my card and he ask for ID - cool - then I see that he was typing (huh) - I asked what he was typing and he said he was typing my name - what for?!? That was sketchy but I didn't make a thing of it because I thought it was their policy. I was going to tip, but then I saw that gratuity was already added. Paid, walked out to my car, and then got an alert that I was charged $199!!! Luckily I didn't pull off, so I decided to go back in and question the charge. I got some BS response about "oh, you didn't order oxtail Mac/cheese, it was a mistake that it was added. I am so sorry that happened"! He refunded me in cash. I didn't clock him because I didn't want to cause a scene and embarrass him!!! I am not stupid - my card was charged after I left because they thought I wouldn't notice. And, how could it be a mistake when you handed me a bill with one amount and then add something after I paid. I am not even mad, I am very disappointed because he was so nice and apologetic for the delay. The hostess was so lost when we arrived. Reservations were made for 430. The restaurant was empty and she didn't know where to sit us. The bartender didn't show up to work until almost 5pm. Tried talking to the manager and asked for the contact information. Hostess kept calling him on WhatsApp, he didn't want to give me his contact information when I was trying to leave the restaurant. It's very easy to miss this spot, it's nestled in with a bunch of stores right off rockaway blvd. (It's opposite the shopping plaza/Applebees, and if you reach ihop, then you've passed it) Went here for brunch yesterday with 2 friends shortly after 2pm. They were completely empty, but once we were seated, they started filling up pretty quickly! (perfect timing). They have a pre fixe brunch for $45 p/p which includes 2 hours bottomless mimosas, with an appetizer and an entree, definitely a good deal. The service was good. The food was really good and flavorful (just needs some dipping sauce options), the mimosas definitely did the job, and the music was a vibe! They also have hookah ($40 cash or zelle). We ordered the watermelon mint and it was just ok; the flavor was light and lacking. Our waitress said it was her favorite flavor so we made her try it and she agreed it was lacking. She took it back to get fixed but it was still light on the watermelon and tasted like just mint. We had a great time and will definitely be back another time to try out the regular menu and drinks and maybe even hit the happy hour! read more

I decided to go with a friend and have a few drinks, had to wait for a seat for a little while but we ended up getting one right at the bar exactly where I wanted to be. We ordered our first round my drink was off something was off about the pineapple after explaining to the bartender she replaced it. Overall the drinks were decent. The hookah was good and lasted while we were there. I believe there was a Dj and the music was good there wasn't dancing but it was a vibe. A friend invited me to this lounge last Tuesday. When we arrived there were a few people there, some were eating others were smoking hookah. Eventually, more people showed up to play Bingo since they also had a Bingo night that evening. The waitress was friendly. The music was great, they were playing R&Bs and I loved every song! My friend got a Long Island Iced Tea, and Hennessy Sauce Chicken Wings. The Hennessy sauce was really good. I ordered a Pasion Fruit Margarita, it was so good that I got a second one. I also got an order of Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings and since it was a Tuesday I had to try their Oxtail Tacos. The wings were great, crispy, and full of flavors. I liked the tacos too, never had heard of Oxtail Tacos before. The place opened at 4pm. I got here like at 6:00pm and was the only person here. The hookah is a separate business and the guy who does hookah didn't come until after 7:00pm. The drinks were good though. The DJ came around 8:00pm. The parking isn't the best. There is about 8 spaces in front the building that the lounge shares with other stores. The music and drinks were good but besides that I was ready to go. First took forever for any hostess to come seat us then she had an attitude. I ordered the lobster with shrimp Mac and cheese which was disgusting. First it took forever for it to arrive. My date ordered the oxtail tacos, which she said was also disgusting. The tacos had all the fat trimmings from the oxtail. Next when they brought out the lobster with shrimp mac & cheese it was just mac & cheese with a fried lobster tail and three fried shrimp sticking out. The mac & cheese was not cooked fully cooked. Usually when lobster with shrimp mac & cheese the mac & cheese has the shrimp and lobster baked into it. So I decided to order some wings since I didn't finish my entrée. For 16 bucks they gave me five wings which were rubbery. Then the hookah took forever to come when I asked about it The waiter told me that it goes by who orders first and I would have to wait. When it was time to pay my bill they automatically charge 18% gratuity for horrible service plus the waiter couldn't get the bill right so he charged me one price then had to refund me and then charged me a whole other price which was more than before.
