I work with an independent school out of the Bay Area, and each year our MS students go on an expedition, 6th graders go to Joshua Tree. Last year we were in need of a bus company to bring us out to our campsite and back, 5 days later. We were traveling with about 40 people total, for reference. The trip out was fine, we were picked up at the airport on time and driven out to our site. Bus driver had great energy, very friendly with kids, etc. 5 days later and we are all waiting for the bus, we had given our selves a nice time buffer to get all of the kids from JT and through airport security on time. We waited for over three hours only to be told that the bus driver had forgotten to pick the kids up! This was a worst case scenario, just to be clear. there were about 35 young middle schoolers waiting in the desert, with no water, for hours. It was a logistical nightmare, and the only silver lining is that eventually I was able to work with a dispatcher from TRYPPS to get another driver to drive from LA to come pick the kids up. We missed our flights, obviously, and ended up being out of pocket for over $5,000 in extra expenses after rebooking fees, lodging, and food was accounted for. This was a major screw up on TRYPPS part, so I was hopeful that they would do the right thing and reimburse us. (they didn't) After a lot of back and forth and the owner, Michael, gaslighting us about how it was technically a mechanical error (it wasn't, and we received no proof of this) and so it wasn't their fault, he eventually agreed to reimburse us the amount for the second part of the trip. I've waited for OVER 6 MONTHS for Michael to make good on his word, all the while talking to him on the phone for multiple hours trying to "see his side of it." As of two weeks ago he told me he would begin paying us back, and now he just won't pick up calls or respond to texts, incredible! Long story short: this company is poorly managed and the owner is dishonest and manipulative. If you have any other options - book with another company, i couldn't recommend them less. read more

Trypps is a professional transportation business with a big heart. I have had the pleasure of using this service 3 times. Once as an executive car service during a corporate event. Once as a party bus in Joshua Tree and most recently, a round trip from Rancho Mirage to LAX. Mike the Driver and owner, arrived early, took care of settling us in, made sure we were comfortable and got us to the airport on time, and made sure we were taken care of at the airport. On the return trip, all of the above was true. But most importantly, we never needed to worry if Mike would be there. If you've used car services for airport pickup, you know that airplanes, cues, and customs are not predictable and timing is not precise. We kept in touch with Mike and he was where we needed him, when we finally cleared. I have referred Trypps many times, most recently as a cross country driver to deliver a car and family pet after a death in the family and as a driver for our Granddaughter-to- be's bachelorette party. Trypps offers great, personalized concierge service. Definitely use them as your one and only. read more

TRYPPS is a phenomenal business. I sincerely think I have never had faster service. I am so impressed. I called Mike and I had my delivery within the hour. He is the owner and he literally dropped what he was doing to go get what I needed. I even texted Mike back later because I had a question about my receipt, and his responses were instant. It was late in the evening, and he was still working, and again his responses were prompt. I let him know how much I appreciated his customer service and that employees who can meet and even EXCEED the clients expectations these days are a dying breed. He literally did everything that he said he was going to do; again, a rarity in this day and age. Mike has the latest technology up-to-date and handles all of the business swiftly. Michael was an awesome tour guide for our trip to Joshua Tree on New Year's Eve. His van comfortably accommodate our large group of 13, he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and he took a really cool video collage of several photos taken. My best friend who is blind and disabled had to move suddenly from Long Beach to Louisiana. He was unable to pack his belongs and bring them with him because of disabilities.
