This place has been one of the most bizarre yet awesome clubs I've ever been to. It's HUGE and I'm sure we didn't even get to see all of it, but the crowd was a perfect mix of people who just wanted to have fun and didn't seem to care about anything else. Coming from the US, it's a little pricey but nothing more than what you'd expect from big cities here. My only complaint was the mixed drinks were weak on the booze and I'm sure that's normal in Sweden where the alcohol laws are extremely strict. We arrived at 8:20pm. One hour and 40 minutes should be long enough to get in before 10, we figured, and we would thus avoid the extra 50kr fee that is tacked on later in the evening. Two hours later there were still more than a hundred people in front of us. We started joking about taking a shot each time someone said optimistically, "We're so close!" Of course, we didn't have any alcohol - a rookie mistake. Those who have languished in this line before know that you should bring snacks and booze. We had neither. Then the rain began to fall. Only one in 200 people had an umbrella, it seemed - and the closest one was too far too shelter us, but close enough to poke me in the eye and make plump drops drizzle directly onto my head. "It will be worth it," we mumbled, glaring at each person who tried to butt into the line with a little more bitterness each time. We got in at midnight. It seemed like a miracle. We paid the 185kr fee and dashed in under the bridge, splashing through puddles. How on earth could it be worth it? Who waits in line for 3 entire hours to pay 200kr and not even get a drink? I have no idea. But it was. That's the magical thing about Trädgården. Even now, I can't explain how it was worth it. But it was. My friend and I attended the closing night, thinking we had to be there for one last hurrah, as it was the last chance and neither of us had made it there earlier during the summer. We had three hours in line and three hours in the club, and while the line dragged on, the hours inside flew by. The music is decent - there are multiple dancefloors with distinct sounds and flavours. The hamburgers are remarkably tasty, though overpriced. Even a glass of wine can make a hipster's wallet burn a bit. The toilets resemble a campsite. The bar staff have a nonchalance bordering on rudeness. And yet, it's awesome. It's something about the quirky decorations and the smiles on every single face. People always have a good time here. You get in the door, feeling oh-so-annoyed over the line, and yet your worries wash away. The atmosphere is unbeatable - you'll never find so many people having such a good time, casually but earnestly, rain or shine. It's still a mystery to me what exactly makes Trädgården keep pulling me back. But I don't mind. read more

Trädgården is under a bridge right next to Eriksdalsbadet in Skanstull, it gets pretty crowded even on weekdays so be there early. I went there yesterday(wednesday) around 10pm and there was no line. We walk in and to our the delight there were alot people there already! The club is pretty much outdoor with little to no roof to protect you from the swedish summer, fortunate the weather was with us. There is many seats where ever you go, you can play pingpong and boule and you can even charge your phone for 19kr which is a brilliant idea! They have three bars on the outside (they didn't open up the inside) one where you can by some food like burgers. This all good but the place is to relaxed for me, I want people going crazy on the dancefloor when I go out and that is why I can't give it 4 stars! The price is pretty standard, it's a good place to start out the night but that's it! read more

It's hard to tell if this would be a place we'd come to again. It's outdoors under a bridge. They have Sunday School on Sunday night which is hip hop and dance hall. It wasn't super packed but the people that were there enjoy dancing. They have a great outdoor game area which was interesting. A lot of locals were coming off holiday so maybe it's why it was slower. read more

This is the coolest club in the Stockholm. Well I haven't been to every club in Stockholm, but I'm fairly confident in my assertion! Tips: 1. Arrive early to avoid the massive queue. We arrived at 11:30 and the queue was over an hour long. 2. Bring drinks (to have while waiting in the queue and to save money - very expensive inside). 3. When I am not drunk and you are trying to fit more people in so therefore go on a rampage to kick as many people as you want accusing them to "be drunk" keep in mind the following: Next time your bouncers want to kick me out they better not leave their HAND PRINT on my arm! This is violence, uncalled for, physical harm, and possibly illegal. If we were in the US (and I so wish we were) you'd be totally sued. You guys suck for a wannabe Berlin type of venue. It's very simple, this place is a MUST! You cannot visit Stockholm during the summer and not go here at least once. The place is super cool being under a bridge. It's got different gaming opportunities which is nice to check out. I generally just enjoy hanging out, listening to the really nice music and meet new people. There is generally a very diverse crowd here, so you could end up talking to a bunch of cool people. First time I went was on a Wednesday, not super busy but nice enough. They had a cool live music show/performance of some kind - have difficulties describing it - but a very cool act. The second time was a busy Friday, and even though it rained a bit, I didn't spoil my mood! Go go go! read more

So i rode my fixie over the brooklyn bridge into dumbo, walked through some kind of a weird portal door under the bridge, and ended up here in tradgarden. lot of guys with beards, some bottled beer sold cheap and ironic, a woman with face tattoo--oh yeah brooklyn, it's ON!!!! having said all of that, it was indeed a pretty awesome place. read more

Trädgården feels like you've discovered a hidden part of the world! Though the line is long, it is really worth the wait! Come early or bring beers. The atmophere is festive and casual. If you like electronic music and awesome parties this is a must in Stockholm during the summer. It has been going on for more than 14 years and there is no sign of stopping. Weird place for a foreigner. Not tourist friendly, the staff is on the lookout for any misbehavior inside the club, despite the evident lack of security checks at the entry. The visitors are haughty and make the place look exclusive. The ambiance remains nice, with good music and everything is clean and well taken care of. However, do not expect for anyone to warm up to you or to experience anything fantastic. The best is to come with a big group and have some fun on your own. As far as the club goes its alright. However, the staff, pricing, and location are all pretty terrible, outrageously large cover fee in particular, and bouncers who prey like hawks over the entire seen, eager for an opportunity to arbitrarily eject people. IF you want to go anywhere else after this, you basically have to call another cab because its so isolated from anywhere else. Also, given Stockholm's often rainy weather, its outdoor setting can be more of a handicap than an asset. read more

I had an amazing day and night in Stockholm... until I got kicked out of Trädgåden for "disturbing the order". What did I do wrong? I questioned the behaviour I witnessed on a couple occasions where security guards picked on men claiming they were too drunk. The common denominator, besides none of them being "too drunk" as claimed, was that they were not blond/blue eyed. I calmly voiced my opinion to a security guard, when he got defensive i stopped and continued to speak to the group of guest next to me. Several more security guards then approached me. I was told that I had no right to question them doing their jobs, that I was instigating a fight by voicing my opinion to others around me, disturbing the order, and that I needed to leave the venue. I asked them for their names and to see their badges since I wanted to make a formal complaint, which was ignored. I was also told I was probably shit at doing my job. Since the security guard had absolutely no idea what I do for a living I assume he meant that my job is to keep quiet when I see something I consider to be discrimination. If that is my job I am proud to say that I am absotudelutely shit at it. I will continue to be shit at it. And I hope that many more people are shit at it too. I came from London to show a friend Stockholm and this experience definitely left a bitter taste in our mouths throughout the trip. Looking at Tradgarden's Facebook reviews after the incident made it absolutely clear that these things happen on a regular basis and the security guards are known for discriminating, using excessive force and kicking people out for no reason. It truly is a shame cause we had a great time besides the staff issues. I would not set my foot in that place again. read more

Just got back from this place and it was awesome. Be ready for crowded rooms in the best Dj rooms but totally worth it. Only complaint is that the Dj they had on the main stage for the prime time hours did not bring it. He was not getting g the people dancing in there. But the djs in the smaller rooms did for sure.
