It's not so big, it's got two floors and a basement, a small parking lot that's usually filled up, but don't underestimate this place! The librarians are helpful. If you can't find a book, perhaps it's in another Nassau library and it can be sent here if you're a Nassau resident. The children's area is cute & I have such good memories of reading books there as a child. Lots of cool books, movies & cd's. There might not be private cubicles or cartels but the tables on the second floor is a good area to study, it's usually quiet and there's usually a few people here working quietly.

I seen a mean comment on Google try to downplay the far walk away public library saying it was…read moredirty and how they just had random people taking up space When I went there, it was the total opposite for me. They even had live music playing, and a small group from the community was watching as it was free Also there you did not make no sense. The public library is for everybody and if people choose to sit there, I do not see the problem it is as long as you're not making a ruckus. I do not see the problem. Secondly, the place was not. The bathroom were nice. The floors were nice. I said no trash no nothing minding their business or with a friend doing their thing. The only thing I do agree with that review is that there is a small selection of books, but they do have videos DVDs, which is pretty cool. All I can say is I think what time collection of books could possibly grow with donations and then buying more books. It also has a computer which is free because all you need to get a library card is your ID and that's it you're in.

The train station is really clean and clear of any debris which is nice and there is plenty of…read moreseating for you to rest either on your way to or from the city. The only real complaint I would have is that on the east side platform, there is no ticket machine which means you need to go the the westbound platform for a ticket. That can be annoying if you are in a hurry to catch the train.
