Came here during their grand opening BOGO event. Their drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but I did really enjoy it. I got the Grapefruit Peach Green Tea w/ Jelly. The flavors really compliment each other and I really like their jelly, which really differentiates them from their competitors. I believe they have 2 so far, grapefruit and lime jelly. The staff there are really nice, my friend accidentally spilled his drink and they replaced it for him no questions asked. They also serve food, but I did not get a chance to try it. Will definitely come back to try more drinks and food! read more

First time here, drinks look good but we just ordered 3 egg puffs and it took over half an hour to make. That's just ridiculous. People who ordered fried chicken after us got their food before us. New joint in Malden. Since this is base on my first experience I hope they will improve in the near future. I ordered the Peach Green tea. It was refreshing and sweet and do like the lime and strawberry slices that they put in the drink. Pretty and appealing. However services on the other hand was frustrating. One cocoa egg waffle took over 40min. The cashier said it'll take 15 min but that 15min became 40min and I devoured it in 30 seconds. It tasted like it was made from powdered milk, and there wasn't a strong tea taste at all. If I'm in the area again, I would try one of their fruit teas to reevaluate this place. They've got a pretty good selection of drinks when compared to the other competing local boba tea shops. Enough for them to stand out from the crowd. The real draw for me though is their fried chicken. Absolutely some of the best Korean fried chicken I've tried in the area, and it's cheaper than most! However, it took quite long to produce, in my case on a moderately busy Sunday afternoon, it took 40 minutes to prepare. I hope the process can be reduced to 20 - 30 minutes or at the very least to have an online ordering method, so you know when to expect to have your order completed with a window of time. Of course, they just opened up, so some of the processes may not be fully polished as of yet. Customer service is great. The girl at the counter was very attentive at resolving customer issues in a sweet manner despite hectic grand opening conditions. Will definitely be here again! It may even become my go to place for Korean fried chicken and boba! read more

We went on a Saturday evening. We ordered a majito and bubble tea, both were good. The speaker system they have going on while ordering is awful because we couldn't hear or understand the cashier. Thank God for the ordering screen, hence it was ok. However, the place got really loud when one of the workers started to bang on something very hard which was very loud for a few minutes each time, every few minutes (I'm assuming he was trying to crush ice). The workers kept on doing it again and again knowing how loud it is. We both left with a mild headache which sucked. This review is for the drinks only. We went in on a Saturday around 1 pm and were informed that the drinks would take ~30 minutes to make. There were two employees working at the time. The ordering process was clunky as there was a plexiglass screen and a microphone, but the employee couldn't really hear what we were saying so she would either yell through the microphone or come around the plexiglass to try to hear. The drinks were mediocre at best. We ordered the peach oolong tea with boba and a peach green tea with nata jelly. The peach oolong tea came with milk but it had already taken so long to get our first drink that we didn't bother correcting it. The peach oolong milk tea tasted weirdly like cereal milk?? And nothing like oolong or peach at all. The peach green tea with nata jelly was too sweet even though I adjust the level of sweetness. Overall, would skip this place next time. read more

Speed of service is unbearable and also not worth it when there are superior options literally across the street. Malden Center manages to have quite a high density of bubble tea spots. 6 shops dedicated to it, and a few other full restaurants that offer boba all within like a 3 block radius. Lol. So if you're gonna open up shop here, you need to convince me you're better than Kung fu Tea, Gong Cha, and other independent operators... or at the very least give me a differentiator. To be fair, I think they are trying to be a little different by offering Korean Fried Chicken Wings and waffle snacks. But the wings missed the mark for me. Boba Quality - nothing to write home about. Korean Wings - supposedly these are like something special they do. You need to wait like 15-20 minutes for them. Which i did knowing and willingly. But sorry, were nearly flavorless. Drumsticks were larger than I'd like too. I make the NYT recipe at home and would put mine up against theirs any day of the week. Service - atrociously slow. Chicken aside, boba really shouldn't take much longer than 5 minutes to wait for unless the shop is slammed. This place consistently takes 10, 15, 20 minutes to pump out a simple boba order. If you go in during any normal "busy" period, all you see are people waiting around for their orders. It's really strange. They also have built themselves a full enclosure at the register to protect the staff. But they opted for one of those microphone things that a ticket seller booth would have, and that plus the masks makes it extremely difficult to communicate. The cashier had to come around to communicate clearly. Safety certainly a priority, but need to make sure the solution actually works. Overall, I appreciate this place trying. But unfortunately they haven't figured out their system, and either the quality of product is being impacted... or it's not there to begin with. I also ordered a guava lime greentea and specified to add lime jelly to the drink. An employee did contact me to verify the special instruction and I confirmed it. I ordered the dragonfruit tea with milk foam and it was delicious. There are chunks of dragonfruit in the tea slush which provides an extra texture and freshness. I also got the fried chicken and it took about 20 minutes to prepare. They warn you that to fry it fresh out takes that long, but I kind of hoped that for a small 10 piece order it would be less time. I got a half and half order of their secret spicy and soy garlic sauces. The secret spicy chicken's secret was that it was not spicy. I think it was a gochujang based sauce that was still good but it wasn't what I was expecting. The soy garlic has a nice heavy soy flavor but was lacking the garlic component. The chicken was indeed fried well and the meat was moist so even though the sauces were just decent, I really enjoyed the chicken itself.
