This was such a treat and I can't believe it took me so long to discover it! Immediately greeted by a great atmosphere of chatter and welcoming decor. The manager, Angie, seated us with a big smile and such friendliness. I was giving this a big ol' thumbs up before even trying the food! Our server was helpful with recommendations and fast with the coffee. Menu has a good variety. I'd say pretty typical pricing, leaning on the pricey side for diner food, but worth it. Food was tasty and atmosphere was fun. Will absolutely spread the word and be back soon!

Do not let the name fool you. This restaurant was tasty and full of laughs! right when my friend and I came in we were greeted by the waiter. He was an older gentleman who has spent years working in the hospitality business and it shows. This restaurant focuses on burgers, fries and steak. I had the buffalo ranch wrap. The waiter told me it would be big but I had no idea how BIG it would be. They could have been a bit more heavy handed on the heat but that is okay. I did order a side of fries. Fries have a special place in my heart and they have to be HOT and they were. Yipeee! My friend ordered the steak. I was a bit hesitant but the meat is from a local butcher and was seasoned and cooked to perfection. My friend prefer medium. Not my cup of tea but it was delicious.

This is hands down the best kept secret in Vaughan. Everything on this menu is ridiculously good.

Rated *5. No complains. Perfect food portions, presented well, most important taste sooo good. Try it out. You will not regret it.

Tried it with a few coworkers. Yellow seems to be theme color inside. Trying to be trendy, but somehow misses the mark. Food was greasy and server needs more training. Just wasn't up to par overall. For the high-end prices we expected more. Will return to nearby establishments; Symposium, Stackd, Coras, Boom, GalaxyDiner.

I wish they would stay open 24 hours. Tubbies is worth more than a 3.5 star. I enjoy the big delicious menu, big portions and good staff.

My sister, son and I were looking for something in the area for a late breakfast. I found this…read morerestaurant on Yelp, of course and we decided to stop in. The restaurant is in more of a business park area, so maybe it gets pretty busy for lunch. There was plenty of parking when we arrived and our wait to be seated was about 1-2 minutes. We were shown to a table and given menus. The menu is quite extensive so there is something for everyone. My sister and I found many items we wanted to try, so we opted to share two items. We ordered the breakfast triple decker club (with fries), my sister got the fried chicken benny (with home fries), my son a cheeseburger with only pickles. We figured with two types of potatoes my son could just enjoy some of our sides. First off, the portions were large. I ate two pieces of the sandwich and half the benedict, I was struggling to finish, but it was so tasty, I didn't want to leave any behind. The sandwich was perfectly toasted and load with all sorts of good toppings. The benny, was amazing. The chicken was a freshly breaded and fried cutlet and the ham was perfect. Really this was one of the best benedicts I have had. The home fries were fine, just deep fried pieces of potato, but the fries were fresh cut fries that were perfectly made. My son absolutely loved his burger, he said it was one of the best he had. Honestly the meat was glistening and looked tasty. Everyone ate until they were stuffed and we still had some of the home fries left. We all left happy and full. Service was good. Everyone was friendly, the food arrived in a timely manner. I have no complaints on the service. I also thought the prices were good considering the portions and quality. If this restaurant existed where I lived, I would make this part of my brunch restaurant list.

Tip: Service is stellar…read more I have driven past this Denny's for many years. Yesterday, I felt the need to grab an early dinner here after work. The two other Denny's that I have frequented in the greater Toronto area are the Mississauga (Courtneypark) and Pickering locations. They were fine, but this one in Woodbridge is amazing in comparison. This eatery is on the south side of Highway 7, in a plaza that's anchored by a Tim Hortons - Wendy's combo store. Wednesday was my first time setting foot in this plaza. I found a parking spot steps away from this Denny's entrance. I backed my car into it and walked in. I was immediately greeted by the sweetest woman. I asked if I could get a table. She said to choose any booth where I'd like to sit. I chose a booth and I sat looking out the window. I got a laminated menu. I leafed through it. My usual order at Denny's when I feel like breakfast for dinner is the following: - French toast slam - Diet Coke I got my Diet Coke. It was cold and yummy. I was so thirsty that I ended up having a couple of refills. My French toast slam consisted of three slices of French toast, sausage, bacon, and two eggs. I got the eggs over-easy, which was how I used to take them before I got into over-medium and scrambled. It didn't take long for my food to arrive on two plates. The proteins were on one plate. The French toast was on the other. I squirted a blob of ketchup next to my sausage links. I like this combination, although I can do without ketchup if I don't have access to any. My slam was excellent. The eggs were perfect. The yolks were runny and yummy. The bacon was crisp. The sausage links were delicious. I am a French toast fan. They were so good, especially with maple syrup on them. This meal hit the spot. My server was incredibly attentive with my drink refills. I asked for the bill once I was done and she didn't hesitate to find the payment machine. I tipped and tapped, letting her know that the food was delicious. She smiled and seemed genuinely happy to hear it. She does remember regulars who come here. I liked her rapport with a man maybe a bit younger than I am who has been going through a lot of health issues. I appreciated her humanness and empathy. I used the washroom before I left. A man with his son came here and sat in the booth next to mine. They visited the washroom twice, which helped me figure out that it was straight back, to the right of the kitchen. The women's washroom was spacious and clean. The sinks were deep and modern. No issues. I am so glad that I finally visited this eatery. I'll be back! (225)

Sorry not sorry…read more.. We've visited several Sunset Grill locations for a quick brunch, and today we gave this lesser frequented location a try. The meal started decently but didn't end quite so well. I had the $15.99 Great Canadian Omelette with a decent amount of melted cheddar, bacon and mushroom for a savoury start. Coffee here was quite watery though did provide a caffeine kick but took a while to be refilled. The $9.99 offerings of All Day Junior (2x eggs, bacon, fries, toast) and Pancake, Fruit Bacon were also OK though it's not much that you get these days for the price. Where I really had issues were their home fries. I get that they're trying to be healthy without deep frying but the potato chunks were soft & oily not resembling fries. Moreover, I stopped eating mine once I noticed a root sprouting from one chunk. Our waitress said they'd normally cut off sprouts which didn't make me feel much better as you might know! We'll be thinking twice before returning for another brunch. The location is decently sized although strangely a second coffee machine is placed behind a dining table.

We arrived and was seated right away. There were paper menus given. We ordered a Sunset Super with sausage, and a French Connection with sausage. Quality was okay, they were like your typical scramble eggs, home fries, and sausages. We enjoyed our French toasts more than the pancakes. As you can see in the picture, the pancakes looked a bit bland. The staff were super nice and great service. They were efficient and got us everything we needed. They were consistent with the coffee refills as well. Overall, it was nice to try this location out. The staff were nice and the food was decent.
