We decided to give Tucson chocolate a try. Saw them on social media and red they had different flavors, etc. Well we got there and asked for an assortment they sold us a pack of supposed assorted chocolates. Some red. Some yellow. Some blue. They all had agave or Mexican chocolate or something or other. We tried every single chocolate only to find they all absolutely taste the same no uniqueness, no difference in the flavor we could make it. It was a let down, well, also purchased some of those viral pastry fruit things. $12 for one, and let me just say. Save your money, this was a waste of time and flavor. This was a fun place to get a treat. It is in the back of Bella's Gelato store where there is a counter with a display of some of their items and where you can order. It is variations of Dubai chocolate which I hadn't heard of before but was glad to find. I found out that it includes pistachio cream. They have cups such as the Strawberry Dubai cup that has the chocolate/pistachio cream and strawberries which was very good but a large portion-easy to share. You can get brownies, chocolate bars and a few other items. The people working there are friendly and helpful. There is some seating if you want to eat there. The Dubai Strawberry Cups seem overpriced at $16 each for what it is and it is not the best dessert to have on a hot day in Arizona. The strawberries are not cold, the melted chocolate is good, but heavy and thick, so you will end up being parched from this dessert. Tucson Chocolate Factory is located inside Bella's Gelato shop. You can't help but to be pulled in with the delicious smells wafting from the shop. We were greeted with lots of welcome ins and big smiles. Walked up the Chocolate Factory's counter and was given a tour of all of the interesting creations they have. We took a seat in a couple of comfy chairs and table set up bistro style and dug in. The colors of the cup are just beautiful with luscious chocolate, pistachio and oh the strawberries. There were lots of strawberries throughout the cup and not a bad one in the bunch. I literally could not stop eating it. It's a chocolate dessert so it is heavy but it's worth it. The cup is priced at $16, not cheap but definitely worth the price for the confection in my opinion. I've tried out their Dubai Chocolate Bars, and I recently went to Bella's Gelato to try their Strawberry Cups. I will say, these are so so delicious, but the price is insane. They were pretty good and unique, but based on everyone else's reviews, I think I set my expectations way too high and I wouldn't get them again. Tried the (free) dark chocolate pecan turtles they were promoting this week on Yelp and bought a bon bon 4-pack with 2 each of white chocolate coconut almond and pistachio chocolate peanut butter. The turtle was amazing - approx an oval that's 2 inches long with dark chocolate which helps balance the sweetness of the caramel... and not too much caramel complimented the ample pecans nicely. The bon bons are barely an inch across, like a beautifully colored marble (but cut in half and laid down on its flat side), and again a nice balance of darker chocolate and a bit of firm-ish filling as described for each. At $9 for the 4-pack they're a bit pricey (or decadent) but less than Monsoon's‍. Packaging is handsome and protective. Bring a cooler or buy these last as they will melt!
