All of her friends, 10 of them also had a great time so much that one of them had to get a pet the immediate next day. This was quite clean and meticulously kept up. The host was so gracious and kept the kids entertained and engaged and also took care of the animals quite well. They did not rush us out of the party and let us take our time last the 2 hour mark. I plan to come back to bring my daughter for the Calico crew events. Highly highly recommend this.

We met up with him at the dog park and we got to talking and let Nicole, now called "Meeko", get use to us. He let us take her to her home for a trial period, but really after just one day we knew she was going to be our forever pup. She has easily become the most loved person in both our families! Joe has been wonderful throughout our entire adoption process and is very knowledgeable when it comes to Formosan mountain dogs and cares very deeply for these dogs. I hope that I can continue to work with this rescue and eventually get my second forever dog in the future :)

Over the years she and I went on many hikes together. She was always by my side. So very loyal. We added our Sons dog, a Shepsky, also adopted from Coppers Dream, to our family, as he was always traveling. Those two dogs spent many years together, always protective of me and of each other on our many hikes. I would periodically send in photos to CD, and always had a friendly reply. Almost like a family. One morning, up in ALanden Quicksilver Park, going up a steep narrow trail, they suddenly half turned and let rip with ferocious barks. A cougar came racing down the hill, I guess it wanted us for breakfast. Nope. Their utter ferocity in their barking and stance was one obstacle. The second was Bear Spray. That cougar decided quickly that this would not be a good way to start the day. Those two adopted dogs were Loyal, lovable, Protective, Goofy. Play ball? You bet. They loved swimming, exploring and making friends. My lab lived until she was 15. Our Shepsky passed a year or so before. Coppers Dream has always been professional, friendly and easy to approach. Now, I'm back looking for one more dog. Our young, female GSD is lonely without her big sister and big brother..

She is the one who will be contacted if the cats are found--which is a very distressing thought because I can't ever get in touch with her. I have yet to receive any paperwork on the cats whatsoever. I also had serious trouble with the vet that she works with to spay and neuter the cats. The male of the pair contracted a serious infection and nearly died--a rare situation in male cats because the procedure is so simple for them. It has been difficult every step of the way with this woman and I am at my wits end.

As for not being able to get in touch right away, why not show up at their adoption days to talk in person, or volunteer to help with emails and phone calls? Some of the smaller rescues do not have the big budgets for staff like the SPCAs and Humane Societies. They are run on a shoestring, and with volunteers. Volunteers usually have jobs, and cannot respond as quickly as the big rescues. Give them a break!
