The man behind the counter said it was $15. I repeated that I just wanted normal shipping, he went to a different register and said that route was $14. I told him I expected way less. He said tracking was included, I said I didnt want tracking. I said I could have used stamps but I didn't know the weight. People were now in line behind and he settled on putting 4 stamps on it and charged me 4 dollars flat. I would have gone to the Post office and paid less but I went there out of convenience. I will never go here again unless it is for a return from Amazon to drop off.

It was rocky at first but I gave grace because the new owner was still learning. It was great until just about 6 months ago. I've been coming back in hopes that the place would improve but sadly it's been a waste. I am very well known in our town and everyone who knows me knows I like to support small business but this one has lost me for good. I like to collage, so I print out 4X6 photos a lot. I stopped printing them here because they never come out right and their machine takes way too long and the price is ridiculous. Go through Walgreens, they print for about 15 cents each and they deliver to your door. Also, on multiple occasions, I have dropped off packages here and have literally found that they were not scanned in and on other occasions, they were scanned in too late to be picked up by carriers same day. That's the whole point of this store, I don't get it. The staff that's there never seem happy. It takes them way too long to come from the back where it looks like they've just got out of bed. One employee always smells like marijuana. The owner has attitude and seems to hate being there. I tried to get a refund from her a couple months ago and she had no idea what she was doing. If she would hire employees who actually want to work and the quality of the machines, instead of the look of her business, it would be better. Sadly, I won't be back here. I don't recommend them to anyone. There's a store just up the street who actually puts their customers first. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

Driving home I see the sign outside this spot that says "We ship anything" and I decided to pull up and see what they could do. The very helpful woman at the front measured my item, walked in the back, found a box that would fit it, started wrapping it up carefully with bubble wrap. Horrible experience, from the attitude to the yelling. I have come to this location for years now…read moresince im a local and never did I have an experience that made me feel disrespected. I was not greeted by the staff, and when I was processing my returns each product was grabbed from my hands as if she was super upset and annoyed. After the items were taken I kindly asked if she can dispose of the box and rudely said no. Then while walking out I noticed a bin went envelope and boxes of trash so I decided to dismantle the box to nicely throw it away. While I do this two ladies started yelling at me to stop and that I won't be able to throw away trash In the trash. WHICH I WAS SHOCKED, while showing them other people have done that and what makes it different for me. They both kept yelling at me with attitude that others customer around felt uncomfortable. I did not once raise my voice while two employees yelled at me a customer. I understand they are busy du to the holiday I myself am in customer facing job. BUT this doesn't give anyone a right to yell at a customer or disrespect them. I rather drive further away then to ever go back to this location.

Highly recommend!!…read more I have rented various PO Boxes in the Pasadena and Sierra Madre Area over the last three decades (including at the Post Office and at the UPS Store), but nothing even comes close to what Mark and Monica have done with Nomad Post after they bought it from the previous owner. The transformation has been breathtaking. As survivors of the Eaton Fire, we lost our Altadena house and had to move from distant temporary location to temporary location until we relocated out of state into temporary post-fire housing in Hawaiʻi. We were terrified of losing important official mail/correspondence in the chaos of all the moves. There was no way that a US Postal Service mailbox could have kept up with our needs. I am SO glad we happened to have a rented PO Box with Mark and Monica at Nomad Post! For instance, now that we live in Hawaiʻi, we are true "nomads" and we can no longer physically pick up our PO Box mail in California. Mark and Monica kindly collect up our California mail for us and ship it to us in Hawaiʻi without charging an extra fee for their own time/labor. They weigh each packet of mail when itʻs ready to send to us, quote the current prices of available shipping options (US Postal Service vs FedEx), and we choose whichever is cheaper that week. Surprisingly, in recent months, FedEx has become cheaper than the US Postal Service for sending our mail packets to Hawaiʻi. Also, sometimes online retailers refuse to ship to Hawai ʻi. We live on an island. Not being able to order things online would make life a lot more difficult. Again, Mark and Monica happily receive on our behalf at Nomad Post, and then work with us to figure the best way to get each item to us in Hawaiʻi. So easy, and we still come out way ahead on cost. Fortunately, because Nomad Post is a complete one stop service center, Mark and Monica can easily implement any shipment method/arrangement we choose. They are both fast AND affordable, which makes working with them worth every penny. We are so grateful that one crucial thing that we have not had to worry about in the post-wildfire moves and chaos has been losing our lifeline of very important mail and online retailer shipment receiving capacity. By the way, since taking over as the new owners a while back, Mark and Monica overhauled/renovated the shop and have turned it into a bright, clean, cheerful, accessible, well organized miracle. They instinctively think about what would be best for us as the customers, and offer more service than I ever imagined possible. If you have a small business or need a personal PO Box mailing address or any number of services for any reason, Mark and Monica (aka Nomad Post) are definitely who you want in your corner as part of your team!
