The owner is pretty chill and always has an abundance of availability when you need to book a service. It seems you've put more effort into removing my valid comments than addressing the actual issue. You have no right to make public accusations or use defamatory language toward a customer. For the record, my mother did require a notary simply because she did not want to share her personal information with the neighbor, as your employee suggested. It was not your staff's place to decide who could serve as a witness or to comment on the nature of the document. The notary simply refused service because I was basically "on her last nerve," just because I called from the location to clarify a few details. Once again, your staff's eavesdropping and misunderstanding caused unnecessary confusion. Shortly afterward, we went to another notary who assisted us politely and professionally--someone who didn't decide whom to serve based on personal mood. For your information, a notary public can notarize a document that requires witnesses, as long as their role is limited to notarizing the signer's signature and not acting as one of the witnesses. It's surprising that someone claiming to be established since 1992 would be unaware of such a basic rule. read more

Small, efficient, in the neighborhood (easy walking distance for me), and with a yelp check-in discount for a notary, this was the ideal situation to get some mortgage documents quickly notarized and sent out via a prepaid UPS envelope, which they were also able to take for me. The owner of the establishment met me at the front desk and was very kind and helpful. He gave me his business card but I can't seem to locate it and unfortunately can't remember his name but he was very sweet and worked efficiently to notarize my documents. Not only did he help me with my mortgage documents but he also helped me to forward some DMV registration mail that had come to my newly-moved-into condo and get it to the right person, so it really was a one-stop-shop for all my needs of that day.
