If I could give this restaurant no stars I would. The service was slow at best. By the time I got…read moremy smokehouse chicken burger, the bottom bun fell apart, the chicken was incredibly dry, the bacon had the same cositancy of jerky and the fries weren't that great. My friends ordered chicken related dishes as well, one was too greasy and the other was dry as well. It seemed like the chicken was either over cooked or the chef left it under the heat lamps too long. I've eaten there before, and the food was excellent, but not this time. I mean, come on, do better.

Sadly, not as impressed with the Fri./Sat. prime rib and seafood buffet. I'm not exactly sure what…read moreI expected for the price, but the prime rib was steamed to death on the buffet (it might as well have been boiled) as well as it's neighbor the brisket. If i'm not mistaken, the brisket was also strangley cut along the grain instead of against. There was a raw tuna carpaccio type of thing that was not visually very appetizing, although I gave it a try. It wasn't covered so it had kind of dried out on top. The bloodline was left on which also had dried up and looked kind of awful. In the future, maybe remove the bloodline, and drizzle with olive oil to keep it shiny and fresh looking? Having said that, if I would've stuck to the fried seafood, chicken, salad, peel-n-eat shrimp, mashed potatoes, etc...I probably would've been pretty happy. There aren't hardly any buffet type places in Central Oregon since we lost Izzy's pizza buffet. For $28? or $26 if you use your players club discount...still not a bad value. I'd still take advantage of the buffet when they do their special holiday buffets like Father's Day. There's more people traffic on those days and there's just better quality overall. And If I ever get back up to my "sockeye" rewards tier..and my $10 food voucher, it's a win. Service is always friendly here. That's worth something by itself.

Too pricey for regular eats, but worth it once in a while. Only complaint is half on us, as we were so tired and hungry that we forgot to ask for a medium burger and got cooked through. Fortunately the elk flavor carried through anyway.

The young lady that greeted us had the personality of day old bread, kind of stale. There was a table of 4 and a table of 8. Two being kid's, and now us. 2. I thought this will not take long, boy was I mistaken. The table if 4 where just finishing up. And the table of 8. I thought we're finishing because the kids were still eating. Nope, they were bringing 1 plate at a time, for other 6. They forgot 1 of the 6, the person said don't worry about it. They just wanted to get out of there. A lady with purple hair, I assume she owned the nasty place half heartily made up excuses. Now are turn, took forever to take our order. We order - 1 breakfast sandwich, asked what type of bread, requested sourdough. Ham steak, eggs over medium, hash browns and sourdough bread. Order of Indian fried bread. What came 30 minutes later - Breakfast sandwich with rye bread that sat at the pass for 10 minutes, it was nasty. Ham luke warm, eggs over hard, microwave hash browns and sourdough bread, not toast. No butter, no jam. And least but not least, NO INDIAN FRIED BREAD. The you lady who sat us, also served us. Never came back to refuel our water cups Never checked on how the foods was. When she finally came, I told about both breads. She had a look of bewilderment. I said don't worry, no we are sorry no anything. Now last but not least- I used the restroom as my wife did. SAYING NASTY IS BE NICE!!!! THE WHOLE PLACE IS DIRTY. I COULD NOT GET OUT OF THERE FAST ENOUGH. When I go that way again. I'm going to speed up as I pass there. I stress, do not, I mean do not stop there! They need to be inspected by the county.

This place has gone down hill bad. The time that it takes to get someone to seat you takes about…read more10-20 minutes. Then when you are seated you are told that they don't have enough menu's so the table has to split the only one they could get you. The alcoholic drinks are a waste of money, don't even bother ordering. You might as well order a virgin cocktail, because that is all you are going to get for $10. The food is bar type food that is mediocre at best. The prices though would have you think you are eating at a more upscale restaurant. Heck, Burger King is more upscale then this place. Used to have great food here, and it was worth something. If you could order one thing, let it be the fry bread, everything else is not worth the wait, or your hard earned money.

My family and I had two separate meals at The Warm Springs Grill but I will review one of them…read moreright now. Last night (the first meal) we had experienced their dinner service. We had ordered the buffalo wings, the steak salad, the meat and cheese platter, the kids spaghetti, and the bison burger. Although the food adequate it was below average for the expectations my family and I had for this quality of a resort. The waiter was obviously unhappy, and seemed specifically irritated with the most minimal of requests. For example when our appetizer (the buffalo wings) had arrived, we received a very small container of blue cheese. Because we requested a double order of the buffalo wings it would be standard to provide a larger portion of the condiment. The waiter was irritated with our request for additional dressing. We are willing to pay for extra anything but the complimentary attitude is not needed. There was a silver lining to this story however, their bison burger was unlike any burger I had ever had in my life, although the presentation of the bison burger is in a open face manner, it was delicious none the less. At first my son thought that one of the buns was missing. He asked the waiter "how do you eat this" the waiter again seemed irritated by our need for additional service, and gave us a look of "what are you stupid". Eventually we uncovered that the burger is intended to be folded in half. The steak salad was nothing more than wilted greens and 3 slices of thinly sliced poor quality steak. Not impressed. Finally from the children's menu my daughter ordered the cheese tomato pasta. There was about 23 cents worth of noodles, and looked like something dumped out of a spaghettiOs can. In general, the greatest area of opportunity for this restaurant is the service.
