Talked to some interesting people, bartender gave me alcohol. Don't really ask for more in a bar these days. They also have some nice pool tables if you're into that, and a little gambling. There's a smoking area out front but can't take your drinks out there, so don't think it would become a regular spot for me. Still had a fun time checking it out though.

Later I made a post on the Prineville Information page on Facebook giving information out to the community so they do not waste their gas or time, "I went to the Horseshoe Tavern tonight and they water down their drinks, I will not be back". After this happened the normal happened on Facebook and I was attacked like I gave out false information, while so many were defending the bar stating the old owners were to blame for the state of Oregon making them add water to the hard liquor. I was litterly verbally attacked by people of this community, (NOT all of them). The next day the whole post was deleted, and I got a warning from the group admin. I did not realize this until a friend reached out to me with some screen shots of the owners threatening me, Cody and Chris Suing. They own The Horseshoe, Wranglers, and Sons of Beer. I cannot believe that the owners of this establishment would stoop to the level threatening me or any person for only posting the truth and only posting what they are apparently required to tell everyone asking for a shot. By the way, I cannot find anything stating the State makes Businesses water down their drinks. I will be calling the state on Monday. I will not go into their establishments again and any get togethers I have will be somewhere else. I would not recommend anyone going there, speaking the truth will get you threatened.

My cousin had told me that he and his wife really enjoy coming here and I can see why. There's a very fun vibe here . We got a table right up next to the side of the stage so we could really be part of the the action and feel the music. They sang a lot of great cover songs from the 80s that we all knew and sang along with , and they even sang an original song that the lead singer and his father had written . As they are finishing up that song, the singers, elderly father and mother had just walked into the pub to listen, and so the band played the song again for his father it was a really cool moment! My cousin introduced me to the owner, Vance, and he is very genuine and down to earth cool. The fine young lady bartenders were super nice and helpful and were always a pleasure to interact with. I think when I go back to visit my cousin and his wife again, I'm definitely requesting that we go back to the Clock Tower pub!
