This company will steal your TV!!!!!!!!! I live in San Diego and I hired Tulip to clean of of out rentals in tempe. The rental had a 40 inch tv that stayed in the unit since it was mounted to the wall and when I came back to Az the TV was missing. They also left our sliding glass doors unlocked so they could came back for it after they did the walk through. Today I also found a 3 inch neon blue stain on the bran new carpet that was installed the day before they came in to clean. This company was the only people to have entered the property since. But it's smart, they come and clean and house if they see something easy to take they leave a window or door unlock and come back for it later or send a third party. read more

This company exceeded all my expectations - and then some. I needed my entire house scrubbed after my move out - and with 2 cats and 2 dogs, the hair was everywhere. This was really going to be a challenge because I had bronchitis for the entire week prior to the move, so the cleaning had not been attended to. I called Tulip Housecleaning and they were able to accommodate my scheduling needs easily. Lupita brought one other person to clean the house, and they went through like tornadoes! They were even doing the light fixtures and the fans! The house sparkled for the new owners, Lupita found several items that I inadvertently left behind and I had ZERO stress (well, except for my own moving situation!) Lupita and her people came highly recommended by a friend who also has a larger home (more than 3000sf). We've had multiple other cleaners in the past that were "ok". Lupita came by for the first time today with 3 other people and did a fantastic job. They really did a good clean- opened and cleaned the wood shutters, cleaned the entire sliding glass door (covered in mastiff drool), they wiped down the whole couch, cleaned the ceiling fans... We've been using Lupita and her team for over two years. She is reliable and professional. Her and her team does a great job and covers everything. I feel comfortable with them in my home and on the rare occasion that they missed something she's always willing to make it right. I purchased a Groupon for this company and like another reviewer they NEVER SHOWED! But let me start from the beginning. I actually had to get Groupon Customer Service involved to even get the company to call me back (RED FLAG!). Once they finally did, I scheduled my service quite a bit in advance. The day of the service, I called when their arrival time came and went. The individual who answered said that they canceled me as they had another cancelation during the day...now.. how is that MY problem. She then said they called me a couple hours earlier (but not at the primary number I gave them!) and left a message stating such. They may do a good job at cleaning.. but I never found out. The two women were pleasant. I bought a 2 hour cleaning. After an hour they asked what else I needed done and I gave them instructions. After another half hour they asked me to look over the area and while I did that they bolted out of the house. I don't know if they had another appointment or what but they hadn't finished what I'd asked so I ended up finishing the dusting myself. They weren't terrible but I wouldn't hire them again. read more

I am very upset! I bought the living social deal for my daughter who has 3 lil girls and works hard. So I was trying to bless her. Well, when Lupita and her Crew showed up they were rude and didn't do a good job at cleaning. More of moving dirt around. I paid for 2 hrs and barely got 70 minutes of them. They didn't even do the floors. And when Lupita ased for water, my daughter told her to get a cold water bottle out of her garage frig. When my daughter went out there, to see if they were going to come in and finish the floors and the hour we had left.....Lupita was taking sodas, teas, waters, out of my daughter's frig and loading up herself and crew! I would love to write a review for this company, but that makes it difficult when they NEVER SHOWED UP for a service! I had purchased a Groupon for $49 for a 2 hour cleaning. Lupita called the day before to confirm the appt and ask if they could come 1/2 earlier than planned. I left work early to meet them, but they never showed it. When I called the number, it was disconnected!? Groupon has issued me a refund but I am so disappointed in this company. read more

Accommodating hours and availability. They use chemical-free products, which is a must! Prices are decent. However, I am giving 3 stars because of the lack of thoroughness. They did not get behind TV, couch, under cushions, or baseboards. I asked for a deep clean and I received a superficial clean. Things looked great at first glance but then over the next several days I found dust on top of my entertainment center and bookshelf, dirt and crumbs behind my cough and cushions, etc which was irritating to me, as I have no time to do this stuff and this is why I hired them. I can keep up with the superficial cleaning from week to week, but the reason for hiring a maid service was to get someone to go above and beyond the usual and do the cleaning I just don't have time for. We too bought the Living Social Deal, and I was excited to use my first cleaning service just in time for my brother and sis-in-law coming into town this weekend. They showed up a half an hour early and got right to work. Did a great job and was so happy to see our home clean and dust free! With a dog and cat in our house, dust and hair build up pretty quickly, so I was impressed with how much they were able to conquer in just 2 hours. That being said, I was told based on our square footage (1275), they'd be able to finish the house within the 2 hours. They ended up not getting to the kitchen, and when I asked how much extra it would be, she said an additional $65!! I have lots of friends who's cleaning ladies do the whole house for $65, so I wasn't about to pay this for just one room. So I'll just have to clean the kitchen myself, not a big deal, but wasn't looking forward to this either. Even though they did a good job with what they did do, I might have to go with one of my friend's ladies next time if Tulip's prices are really that high. read more

Worst possible service!!! Luipta Villatoro claims to be the owner. I had called to schedule a 2-hour housecleaning session and they had agreed to show up at 3:00pm on a set Friday; after half an hour past the scheduled time, I called and she said they were running late but would be here in 30 more minutes. I had to call again and again, she kept postponing the service until eventually she said she had us scheduled for Friday next week. I got quite angry because I felt she wasted 3 hours of my time waiting for her to show up. On the last call, she simply hung up the phone. This is no way to treat a customer or run a business. I strongly recommend looking for someone that has integrity. Spend your money elsewhere! read more

I also had a Living Social coupon and it was well worth it. I'm not in an income bracket where I can do this often but I am disabled so there are a few things that I just can't do so once a year or so I have to hire someone. Needless to say the things I can't clean well like the tub, behind the toilet and the corners of the floors get pretty gnarly after a year. I don't envy anyone who has to clean them. I also have an EXTREME dust problem. They had a scheduling conflict with me too but I think they are just way busy with the coupon out, I had to wait a month for my appointment. They did get to my place on time but I got 3 people for about an hour instead of the usual 2 for 2 hours which they said was due to a scheduling mix up. It was technically a little short of the time but I only have a 900 sq ft house and they were done. I couldn't really find anything afterwards that they missed or that I could have had them do to take up any more time, they just didn't need all the time. I did prep well, moving everything out of the way, that probably speeded it up. Anyway, they did an awesome job on everything, the place is spotless. I tipped them $30 making it a total cost of $79 and it was well worth that. I have had Merry Maids out once and about four independent people over the years and no one has ever done such a thorough job. I'm afraid to do anything messy! I would definitely use them again if I can afford whatever the regular price is, I haven't looked into that yet. read more
