I had called before and they told me gel manicure was $22 and as advertised on their screen when you enter. I got a basic gel manicure that would have usually cost $25 at other salons but they charged me $35. I was surprised and a little taken back considering I didn't get anything special done. With tip it came to $42 which I think is ridiculous for a basic gel manicure. The girl who did it was nice, but wasn't very good at it. She cut my cuticle too deep and it started bleeding. Multiple times she cut to close and it hurt. She was also very messy, lines weren't neat and nail polish ended up on my skin. Definitely will not be coming back again. Update: So the salon got in touch with me and told me the girl charged me the wrong price and she thought I got powder. Umm what?? Do you not even know what service you are providing and there's a BIG difference between powder and gel mani. The owner was very accommodating and nice(that's why I gave two stars), he gave me the option of voiding the transaction or just crediting me the additional she charged for the next visit. He was pushing for the credit for next visit but that would mean I would have to get my nails done there again and get me cuticles torn apart again. I opted for the void transaction and charging me the right price, I even drove back there to do it. Also, just noticed the girl cut me in more places then I knew initially, was cooking dinner and everything was burning and stinging my fingers!

At check out I was charged 3 dollars more. I questioned Hannah and was told this was for the nail trim. I informed her that all these years I never paid for this service as it was always included . She stated sorry, but left the charge. I will never return to this Spa and I advise others as well. They are cash only with an ATM onsite and they offer a 25% off referral program which I've never seen before either. I got a simple design gel manicure and a Deluxe Pedicure which I didn't wince in pain, I felt taken care of and I didn't leave with polish all around my nails. I was placated with "five to ten minutes." I played on my phone for another 15 minutes . Then I was escorted to a pedicure chair. I sat for A HALF HOUR!!! I selected "anyone" for my technician." Is that why? At just under an hour in total wait, I opened my Jersey mouth, which rarely comes out lol. "EXCUSE ME - I HAD A 10:15 AM APPOINTMENT AND HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 45 MINUTES and AM LEAVING G FOR THE SHORE!" The techs all looked at each other bewildered and like "oh sh*t", then a male tech was over in under five minutes. He's doing a great job but Im overall unhappy /po'd. The tip will reflect as much. They most likely will lose me as a customer because of their incompetence and lack of apology. There are too many competitors for this utter nonsense!!! Im stupefied!

Unfortunately instead of the salon responding with a professional response.. example of the appropriate thing to say would have been " We're sorry to hear about your negative experience. Please provide us with more information so we can investigate the issue and take steps to prevent it from happening again." Instead I'll post what she did say in the photos. Again still so unprofessional and completely ignored the fact that after 14 days my nails had a mold growing under a fresh set. If i showed her one the 14th day no reason my nails should be lifting before then. I used to have nothing but good things to say about this salon, but unfortunately, since it has been taken over by new owners the pricing has not at all remained consistent. The last straw was me paying for a $85 REFILL. Unfortunately i was getting my nails done and had to abruptly leave without getting the top coat finished. Mind you i get the same thing every time. Same color and a design on each index finger because i had to abruptly leave i did not get to speak to the tech about why i was being charged $85 for a refill but when i went back the tech told me it was the stones that made it so expensive. Mind you it was so ugly if i would have been able to stay i would have absolutely asked her to remove it. So you mean to tell me a refill set unfished costs $85.00 and to top it all of when taking it off my nail had some kind of mold or fungus underneath. Absolutely horrible. She then recommended a new set for $75. It makes zero sense and to top it off the tech used a different color pink powder and did not inform me she was going to at all what so ever. Until the top coat was on it that's when i saw that she basically picked whatever she wanted without telling me.
