My MOH and I came to visit this shop when I came home to visit from DC and had a great experience! We got timely appointment confirmation, reminder, and even a thoughtful check in from our bridal consultant, Bea! She wanted to see what styles we might have had in mind so she could start thinking about what to pull. When we arrived, the space felt clean and open. There were many dresses and the staff were all very friendly and offered us a seat and water as we waited for Bea to finish her previous appointment. When Bea came, she was so friendly! It felt like no matter what that she was going to add more sparkles to your day and it truly did feel like she was there to help us. She was very professional in kicking us off by introducing herself then asking me what I was looking for and took some notes. Then started whisking some dresses and us into the dressing room. She was very efficient in helping me in and out of dresses and even giving helpful thoughts on dresses as she continued learning what I might like or not like. I didn't feel like she would try to sell me a dress if I didn't love a dress and if she didn't think it let me feel my best. There were lots of dresses on the floor and they had more somewhere nearby in a warehouse. She was quickly diving in and out to try to find some more options for us. While I didn't find my dress on this visit, there were many beautiful dresses even if they were not my style or size at times. I was also a bit doubtful on how I would feel as I tried dresses on but Bea was so supportive throughout it all that it feels like you're shopping with a very knowledgeable friend. The experience itself with Bea does make me hopeful I can find something with them and I am going to try to visit again when I'm back in town. It seems like they get a lot of inventory in an ongoing flow. Also, big thank you to the team at Tulle in general! They were so friendly from beginning to end. I made a last-minute appointment at Tulle--less than 24 hours' notice--and honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm a non-traditional bride (I mean, I'm getting married on Halloween!), and I knew from the start I wanted color, not white. The consultant mentioned she typically reaches out a few days in advance, which I appreciated hearing, though she hadn't had the chance this time. That said, both Elizabeth, my consultant, and the owner went out of their way to pull dresses for me--even with the short notice. Some options could be ordered in black, which was great to know, but trying them on in white made it tough for me to visualize. I was hesitant. Luckily, Tulle has an outlet shop right across the street, and Elizabeth kindly walked us over. That's where I tried on a stunning Hayley Paige gown--absolutely beautiful. This review is for the Salem, NH location. Due to COVID, we were forced to reschedule our 150 person wedding to 2021 but decided last minute to get married with just family present in 2020. When I say last minute, I mean less than 2 months from decision to wedding time. I knew right away that I would need another dress (first was still delayed due to COVID) and with a less than 2 month window, I knew this meant I needed to walk out of a store holding a dress. I booked an appointment with Tulle and was called the day prior to discuss with my stylist what I was looking for. I stated I was looking to spend no more than 500 and she assured me that would not be a problem as everything in store was less than $1000. When I arrived, my stylist immediately got to work and pulled different types of dresses for me to try, quickly working to narrow down what I was looking for. As luck would have it, there were 2 dresses I found that I loved both and bing bang bop, I had bought a wedding dress that I loved in 30 minutes and was able to walk out with it. I was blown away by their selection, sizes, and variety. The staff was keen eyed and listened to what I was looking for. I will start by saying that Rene who I worked with was wonderful. He was kind, understanding and patient. The issue I had is with the owner. My mom, sister and I went shopping a few weekends ago, and Tulle was the first place we went to. I tried on the first dress and absolutely loved it. The issue was that the dresses at Tulle Outlet are off the rack and so you need to decide on the spot if you want it because some other bride could walk in right after and purchase it. I understand that and have no issue with it. Rene worked with me and said that I could put the dress on "layaway" and put $200 towards it, and if I didn't end up wanting it then I could use that $200 that I had already paid towards a veil or some other accessory. I was fine with that but I would need to make a decision by Sunday close of business. When we were checking out, the owner came over and started asking why I wasn't buying the dress and that I shouldn't listen to my mom or sisters opinion and buy what I want. It was very uncomfortable and really caught me off guard considering we had already made a plan with Rene and she just butt into my business. I don't know if she was trying to make the sale, or what, but it was completely unprofessional and uncalled for. I went shopping the rest of the weekend and didn't find anything I liked. I was under pressure to make a decision and ultimately bought the dress. When I called to pay for the dress over the phone, they asked if I wanted to leave a TIP over the phone for a job well done. Since when are we tipping on wedding dresses? I felt pressured to tip so I did. A few weeks later, I went to Alexandra's Boutique in Fall River and had an amazing experience and they didn't ask me to tip. I bought my dress there and so now I'm stuck with a second one. I guess each experience is different, but beware that they ask you to tip on your $1000+ dresses (and the range they said to me was 10%-20%). I don't blame Rene - he was kind and if I had the option to receive a tip I would want it as well. I just think that tipping is out of control and as a business practice Tulle should not allow this because seriously why should we be tipping on buying a wedding dress? Pay your employees a better wage. read more

My daughter and her friends and I recently visited Tulle Bridal in Andover, MA where we were treated to the VIP Signature Experience (mimosas, pastries and the place all to ourselves.) The shop is lovely and timeless and the people who waited on us were knowledgeable, patient and good listeners. We were able to walk around and suggest dresses for Avery to try on (in addition to the ones she'd pre-selected). I am looking for a beautiful dress for my vow renewals next year. I will be celebrating 26years and want a dress that says so. My girlfriend recommended Tulle so I called and made an appointment to the store in NH. My maid of honor and I showed up and everyone was very nice. Offered us Mimosa and a seat while we wait for someone to come over and do a mini interview. A young lady came over, talked to me and went to get a few dresses. She asked my size and if I want lacey or glitter. I wanted mire of a lacey look. Off she went to get me a few dresses to get me started. 2 out of the 3 dresses I didn't want to try because they were more on the glitter side. So right there that tells me she wasn't listening. So I told her that I want a dress with some character, with some flavor to it. She went looking for a dress while I was getting out of one and as I looked through the cracks of the drapes to see where she was I noticed that she was whispering something to another girl. Then the girl signaled to her that I was looking and she came to me with another dress. The next dress that I tried on was gorgeous. It had flair, flavor and very different and it fit. But, because of what I witnessed, immediately I made up my mind that I wasn't going to buy from there. You know when someone is talking bad about you and the thing is, even though she got caught the first time, she was caught doing it again not just by me but my Maid of Honor saw it as well. Making an appointment over the phone was easy and at the appointment the space was clean and not overcrowded at all. I did not have the best experience at this shop. To start, they ask your sizes right in the front of the shop with other people waiting for their appointments which was extremely uncomfortable. I felt rushed when trying to chose my dress, and ultimately forced into a decision which I ended up not liking. Since they have a no return policy, I wasn't even able to cancel my order. When I went to pick up my dress, the shop opened late, the owner was walking around talking on her apple watch and got annoyed when I did not want to try on the dress (or maybe because I interrupted her phone call). To top it all off, the dress looked like a disaster. They couldn't even take the time to steam it. My entourage and I had the best time! (I say entourage because there were 11 of us!) I took advantage of their new VIP appointment because I had family visiting from out of town and they were so excited to be included in my dress shopping experience. Tulle provided mimosas and snacks for us, and we had the store to ourselves for 2 hours. They have beautiful gowns and I eventually found "the one!" The girls were the best, and made us all feel welcomed. Danielle was especially amazing and made it feel like a really special experience the entire way through. If she could tell I didn't like a dress even though my family did, she would nix it for me knowing that I needed to love it. She was there to make sure I was happy. The store was also very pretty! BUT when my bridesmaids asked to use the restroom - "tulle" said that they "Share" a restroom with DUNKIN DONUTS which is down the road and across the street (4 lanes of traffic BTW), and GROSS. I'm sorry- if you expect me to spend thousands of dollars at your shop - you better let me and my mom and bridesmaids use the restroom while we are sitting there for over an hour. My daughter and I needed a last minute of the rack dress as the one she ordered from BHLDN in size 6 came in much different than when size 12 was pinned up in shop ( too much cleavage). We had many alterations but just couldn't really make it fit ( so out $2100 ) -- we thought we would run up to Tulle since they have a good off the rack selection. We got an appt a few days after calling and were so happy when we saw a huge rack of ready to sell dresses. We got lucky and found one for 1,000 that she loved for about 60-70 % off retail. The attendant could not have been more helpful or sweeter. I highly recommend this shop! It is nice they are right off of 495 too and parking on the street behind was easy enough. We did read that they don't have a bathroom so just plan ahead for that :-) read more
