She wanted to see what styles we might have had in mind so she could start thinking about what to pull. When we arrived, the space felt clean and open. There were many dresses and the staff were all very friendly and offered us a seat and water as we waited for Bea to finish her previous appointment. When Bea came, she was so friendly! It felt like no matter what that she was going to add more sparkles to your day and it truly did feel like she was there to help us. She was very professional in kicking us off by introducing herself then asking me what I was looking for and took some notes. Then started whisking some dresses and us into the dressing room. She was very efficient in helping me in and out of dresses and even giving helpful thoughts on dresses as she continued learning what I might like or not like. I didn't feel like she would try to sell me a dress if I didn't love a dress and if she didn't think it let me feel my best. There were lots of dresses on the floor and they had more somewhere nearby in a warehouse. She was quickly diving in and out to try to find some more options for us. While I didn't find my dress on this visit, there were many beautiful dresses even if they were not my style or size at times. I was also a bit doubtful on how I would feel as I tried dresses on but Bea was so supportive throughout it all that it feels like you're shopping with a very knowledgeable friend. The experience itself with Bea does make me hopeful I can find something with them and I am going to try to visit again when I'm back in town. It seems like they get a lot of inventory in an ongoing flow. Also, big thank you to the team at Tulle in general! They were so friendly from beginning to end. I was a bit oblivious and didn't realize they had closed at one point but they were still so kind, welcoming, and patient. They didn't rush me but I definitely would have rushed myself out if I had known. They also offer mother of bride/groom shopping as well. She has such a sweet personality and really seemed to understand my vision from our conversations, while still being incredibly go-with-the-flow when my party started exploring dresses on their own. Wedding dress shopping can be overwhelming because you walk in not knowing what to expect or what you're "supposed" to do, but Elizabeth never made any of us feel like we were doing anything wrong. Most importantly, I truly felt like she wanted me to find the dress that made me happy, rather than ever pushing an agenda or a particular choice. She'd ask a question, and I felt like she genuinely wanted to hear the answer and let it guide where we went next, rather than use the information to steer me toward a particular decision. The rooms are secluded to give you that private experience, lots of mirrors and lighting to give you the full effect of your dress. My stylist, Zoe, was incredible. She really took the time to listen and helped me find my dress. I loved being able to walk around the store with my bridal party to see which ones I wanted to try on. The process to buy the dress was incredibly easy as well, I highly recommend coming here to find your wedding dress! They also do suits and prom dresses as well.

The staff does not listen, they're very judgmental, (they don't know who we are or where we're from, for example), and their fabrics are chintzy and gaudy. Ugly! The representative ignored everything we said. They kept pushing, "you can take it up and have it tailored," while the particular dress' style wasn't made to be a shorter style. The dresses, though, were so tacky. Just the worst satin and ugliest styles. Do not bother.

Rented 2 suits here for a funeral of all things and since Russo's has moved to Reading, I was…read moreintrigued about the setup and I had a good experience with them in the past. We went in to get fitted- we probably picked the wrong day the staff was super busy because it was wedding season! (Late June I was there of 2022). We waited as the people ahead of us were taken care of then proceeded to be fitted. I will say right off the bat I have a weird body shape- no jacket seemed to fit right- again weird body shape McGee over here. One of the other tailors freed up and took us right on back to the fitting rooms. He had me sized up in no time and in a comfy suit then went to work on fitting my stepson. After a few minutes we were looking spiffy and comfortable. I watched as rack after rack of groomsmen tuxes were bagged up and labeled ready for pickup, the tailor joked with us both about how crazy busy it was as he fitted us and generally kept us at ease. Suits rented- money paid and off we went. Here's the nice part- the shop was nice enough to let us rent the suits about a week early and when went to return them the shop was closed as the team was off for the 4th of July (well deserved after the craziness I witnessed with the weddings lol). So I called their number and left a message asking what do as I was going on vacation. Maria called me back and told me to not to worry about it and bring the suits in when I got back- there would be no late charge. Good to her word we were not charged and it was an overall great interaction with the shop. They take cash, venmo, and credit- but there is an extra fee for the credit card processing- a sign on the counter states this as well. One downside is there is not seating area in the main shop to wait- but the shop is so full of suits, and tuxes it makes sense why it's not there. Other than that- thank you Russo's for your kindness and understanding throughout the process of rental and return!

Bassy saved my wedding dress and my wedding day!…read more I had originally gone to another tailor recommended by the boutique where I purchased my strapless princess gown. Unfortunately, the work done at the other tailor's shop left my dress butchered. When I realized something was wrong with the original tailoring, it was two months before my wedding. I was distraught because I didn't think a new tailor would take me due to the limited time before my wedding and it being right before bridal and prom season. However, someone recommended I contact Bassy and I'm so grateful for their rec! Bassy listened to my concerns regarding my dress and what the other tailor had planned to do to it, advised me to take back my dress straight away, and booked me for an appointment ASAP. Within a week Bassy had me in her shop to assess all the damage that had been done by the previous tailor: (1) the hem was uneven by inches; (2) the train was lopsided; (3) the bustle was just a loop and a button that would be visible and unsecure; (4) the bodice was taken in so much that three people were needed to zip me up, which (5) left the zipper of my dress straining and puckering; (6) so much of the bust was trimmed away that my chest was exposed whenever I moved; and (7) they made a sash instead of the custom shawl I ordered for my ceremony. The worst part about the original tailoring work is that so much fabric was cut away there was barely any fabric left to correct the shoddy work. My dress was in really horrible shape and I knew I wouldn't be able to find or order another dress in time for my wedding. Despite the multiple problems with my dress, Bassy assured me she would find solutions for the above issues and she did! Bassy evened out the dress' hem by rehemming it and removing a portion of its petticoat to ensure it kissed the floor evenly. For the train, she adjusted it so it would be symmetrical and less oblong. It looked gorgeous trailing behind me as I walked down the aisle. The bodice was a tricky fix, but Bassy executed it perfectly! To expand the bodice, she needed extra fabric and found it within the seam allowance of the bodice's panels. She undid every panel, let out a little bit of fabric from each, and carefully stitched the bodice back up so that each panel was even and proportional. She was able to expand the bodice while also making it look like it hadn't been deconstructed. Bassy's work allowed me to properly breath while wearing my dress and my mother was able to zip me up by herself with no trouble! Bassy also created a custom shawl for me that looked like something Audrey Hepburn would wear! The attention to detail is so incredible! Bassy made the shawl so there was a slight curve in the front that elegantly hugs my collar bone. I love this shawl so much I plan to continue wearing it for special events. The most incredible fix Bassy made to my dress is the bust. I thought I'd have to wear my shawl the entire wedding. Instead, she came up with the incredible idea to build up the bust of my dress with additional fabric. The original bust had a cat eye neckline with draping across it. Bassy was able to expand the bust above my chest and next to my underarms to give me more coverage. She did this by building up fabric that mimics the original bustline's shape. The final result is beautiful! No one would ever know that the work Bassy did was not part of the dress' original design. I'm incredibly grateful for the amazing and transformative work Bassy did to my dress, her professionalism, her expert advice, and her direct and honest communication. She always set realistic expectations and provided alternative solutions that would not compromise the integrity of my dress or its overall style. Bassy is also just a lovely person to be around. I was really sad about the state my dress was left in by the previous tailor. With each visit to Bassy's (and she booked me for as many as needed to get my dress perfect), I felt better and more confident. Bassy saved my dress, my wedding, and my peace of mind. Bassy hemmed several pairs of pants, took in the waist on others, and completely altered a vintage dress for me. The dress needed extra room, and she expertly removed the belt and expanded the side seams so seamlessly that you would never be able to tell any alterations were made. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are absolutely unbelievable. Bassy is truly a talented artist, and her work speaks for itself.
