We got a table right up next to the side of the stage so we could really be part of the the action and feel the music. We . ordered drinks and they had a new band play there for the first time and they were fantastic. They sang a lot of great cover songs from the 80s that we all knew and sang along with , and they even sang an original song that the lead singer and his father had written . As they are finishing up that song, the singers, elderly father and mother had just walked into the pub to listen, and so the band played the song again for his father it was a really cool moment! My cousin introduced me to the owner, Vance, and he is very genuine and down to earth cool. The fine young lady bartenders were super nice and helpful and were always a pleasure to interact with. I think when I go back to visit my cousin and his wife again, I'm definitely requesting that we go back to the Clock Tower pub!

The beer selection is large, with various serving sizes. Flights of 4 are only $8 here. They also had a number of bottled and can selections, even some from other breweries. The bartender was very welcoming and friendly, as were other patrons so it ended up being a fun evening of beer and fun talk. If you're a beer fan, this is a must stop in Redmond. There are also other excellent breweries within walking distance.

Using your position in the kitchen to completely skip the line and delay paying customers who ordered ahead of time just isn't right. It's conveniently located to downtown Redmond, easily walkable from other restaurants, bars, and breweries if you're staying nearby. Going inside, I quickly realized this was a friendly local place where people come and the bartender knows your name and order. I ordered two flights on my visit; all the beer was great. They have a number of core staples, plus a bunch of small batch beers you can read about on the chalkboard near the door. The bartender was immediately friendly and welcoming; I said it was my first time there and she told me it's the oldest not-for-profit brewery in Oregon, donating all their post-bill/payroll profits to local charities. I was also here at lunch time and ordered maybe the best tuna melt I've ever had - rich, buttery, and delicious. They have lots of beers packaged to go as well. If you're doing the Bend Ale Trail, this is a fun stop and worth venturing to Redmond for if staying in Bend.

This time around Steve and I had the Red Thump. A very good red or amber that we really enjoyed. Nice and malty while drinking this beer is great to relax with after a long day, drive or whatever. It has enough substance that you are getting not a super light beer and it has complexity to it without getting anything too intense. Good beer to get for sure and you can get in six packs if your desire is to take it home!

I want to love this local establishment in a historic building, but have been surprised by the poor…read moreservice twice now. The first time we ever went there we were mocked for not knowing how it worked. We were there for my son's 6th birthday, but luckily kids are oblivious to that. We tried again and had a much better experience checking in as it was with a different gentleman, but unfortunately, we had a negative experience leaving. Our child accidentally spilled some food and we apologized to a different guy as we were leaving and he rolled his eyes at us and said "Jesus." We felt awful. I work with the public and if I spoke to someone like that, I would be fired. Anyway- I want to love it, and the building was beautiful and felt clean, but we can't justify going back.
