This bar saved my marriage, and my dog no longer licks his dick so much. When you're here, you're family!

It sits in an old storefront on what feels like a once-vibrant main street. The cozy colorful lights are welcoming. They have a larger outdoor seating area, but on the freezing cold night I visited, I opted for a seat at the small bar. There were large boisterous parties nearby, it was clearly a popular spot. The beer selection is large, with various serving sizes. Flights of 4 are only $8 here. They also had a number of bottled and can selections, even some from other breweries. The bartender was very welcoming and friendly, as were other patrons so it ended up being a fun evening of beer and fun talk. If you're a beer fan, this is a must stop in Redmond. There are also other excellent breweries within walking distance.

Overall a very good visit to the Hideaway in Redmond. We had left Bend, and heading to Vancouver…read morefor the Clark County Fair, and we went thru our phones looking for an all round menu that had plenty of offerings. Emily, our server, was terrific. She was fun, efficient, and very knowledgeable. Hideaway is a low-key sports bar that has great viewing of whatever is on television. The food looked and tasted good as well. My wife had the Hideaway burger, but subbed the Impossible burger instead, her tator tots were perfectly cooked. She asked for the burger to be well-done, and the cooks did a great job at that. Our daughter had the Cobb Salad and loved it. I had the Reuben and it was ok. The corned beef was a bit mushy and not cut well. The memorabilia in the sports bar is terrific, especially if you are a Yankee or 49er fan like me We would go back if in the area, as there are many items to choose from.

It was easily 7-10min before the two male bartenders noticed me (and I was one of two at the bar) The drinks: The drinks are a fair pour, for sure! The bar regulars: Folks there are very friendly, serious local folks-gamblers -big old trucks! Nice though. The food: Fair, but sadly my old fav sandwich Allentown (though still a huge portion!) just doesn't taste the same. It's bland, so bland. Now I go in, if there's a female bartender- I stay... otherwise I move on down the road. Lots of spots to pick from on the main streets.
