What a cute little coffee shop in Westcliffe! The barista was super friendly and efficient, probably the quickest we've ever got drinks before at a local shop. I loved the dirty chai, not too sweet or rich. The chocolate chip cookie was fresh, buttery, crispy and double chocolatey yum!! highly recommend.

I love the location of this coffee shop. It sits right on Main Street of Westcliffe. It's an old house that has been converted to a coffee shop. Again, I love when a business takes an old building or old house and makes great use of it. Old houses are ideal for coffee shops. When I visited this weekend they were only taking orders at the side window of their establishment. Unfortunately, their main room was closed for business. The young lady who took my order was friendly and smiled often. She also made sure I had plenty of cream for my coffee. I ordered a 20 ounce drip brew coffee with cream. I also ordered an Apple fritter. She offered to warm it up for me. They accept credit cards here. It's a very seamless process similar to most merchants. The coffee was okay but not great. They do not roast their coffee in Westcliffe or on site at their coffee shop. I was told their coffee beans are from Guatemala. I've wrote this before in other reviews of coffee shops, that there are so many good coffees around these days so it's challenging to give a great rating. I was more impressed with customer service and the building itself. Wish I could've hung around inside while sipping my coffee rather than take it away back to my air b&b. Overall, I feel that this place is worth checking out. Hopefully when you go there will be an opportunity to sit inside and enjoy your coffee. I will check this place out again when I return to Westcliffe again soon!

Open at 630am which was nice since I didn't want to wait until after 7am when most other places open. Grabbed a drip coffee and cheese danish which were both great. Friendly service and reasonable prices.

A week in Westcliffe made finding a coffee shop goal # 1. We not only found a coffee shop, but a delicious bakery and a super yummy smoothie place. I'm pretty sure after our week ended, they knew my vehicle pulling up. With 7 of us squeezed in a car, we kept this little shop busy. Adorable, great prices, delicious, fresh, addictive. All the perfect adjectives you want in a small town!

This was a delicious chai latte... however it was also very expensive and I was not expecting that. Very aesthetic location with outdoor seating and the man working behind the counter was nice even though we they had twenty minutes to closing.

It doesn't look like much when you walk passed, it's something that could be easily overlooked, but it's so cute! There's limited staff working Inside, so things may take a little longer but they are definitely worth the wait. We had black coffee and I had a latte, and we walked away with their espresso beans & everything was great. (Especially freshly ground beans when we went camping over the weekend!) I'm from Wisconsin and usually visit Denver when I go to Colorado, but I would definitely recommend this shop if you're traveling through!

Nice variety and well done drinks. Quick service. The pastries look fresh. I usually just get coffee black, an Americano.

The small coffee is $2.15, then if you order cream they charge you $.90, now same price as a Latte. And the coffee was cold!

We were one of their first customers after they reopened! There is on-street parking in front of the restaurant, a shared parking lot "behind" the restaurant, and quite a bit of parking by the park a few blocks away. I had a cinnamon roll and a Stage Stop burrito and a sausage biscuit sandwich. I also had help! Hey! Yer eating the burrito before I took the photo! The burrito has the sausage gravy from the biscuits and gravy, but you can also get green chili on it. The biscuits are huge! Yay! There were 4 tables for dine in, but the food is packed to go. For their first day back, they are offering a free something for folks with a partially punched loyalty card. Surprise! You can reach 1 Pokésto and 2 Pokémon Gyms and a Dynamax Spot from the restaurant.

It's also up for sale so someone who can afford it come save this business! I ordered a Strawberry Turnover and Vanilla Mountain Frost w/ Whipped Cream (frappé). The strawberry turnover was good, my only complaint is that only half it had a good amount of strawberries and cream cheese. The frappé tasted like straight coffee. I paid an extra $1 for whipped cream and I couldn't really tell it was there. I may not have set my expectations right when ordering it, but it was just okay. It's a very small shop, not a whole lot of room. Music is playing so it isn't deafening silence. There is plenty of seating outside, which is great when the weather permits it. The customer service was not very present. There was one person working the whole store so I'm not going to bash it with a lack of effort. Effort was certainly present, it's hard to run a place alone. But it took a long time for us to get our drinks. Side note: the lids on the freshly squeezed orange juice are truly loose (as the signage says) and it was spilling the whole drive back. Trust the sign

They close at 2:00 pm on Saturdays so plan accordingly if you want to visit this place on a weekend. Also, they're closed on Sundays! I love how this bakery is owned and run by Mennonites. The young lady who waited on me was very polite. One more thing, they're cash or check only! When I realized they're cash only, the young lady asked if she wanted me to hold the pastry I ordered while I got cash at an ATM. If you don't have cash handy, there is an ATM down the street at a grocery store. It's a Wells Fargo ATM. When I arrived back at the bakery, my pastry was waiting for me, all nicely folded up in a bag. It was well after 2:00 pm so I felt that it was thoughtful of her to keep the business open to complete my order. My original order was a raspberry cheese danish. I also ended up ordering a chocolate peanut brownie. I was also "eyeballing" a tray of their cinnamon rolls. I left after purchasing my two pastries and remembered that they're closed on Sundays so I approached the business again to see if I could order a cinnamon roll to go. The young lady was closing up the business for the day when I approached. I asked if she would mind if I purchased a cinnamon roll to go. She obliged without hesitation. Again, this was so thoughtful and such great customer service. I ate my raspberry cheese danish immediately and was very impressed. I later ate some of my cinnamon roll later then finished the rest in Sunday morning. I also devoured the peanut butter brownie on Sunday morning. What impressed me the most about their pastries is that they're not loaded with too much sugar. I find that many bakeries and grocery store bakeries overload their pastries with too much sugar. They nailed it with the right amount of sugar here. The cinnamon roll was huge. It's probably enough for two people. It's also only under three dollars which is impressive as well. When I return to Westcliffe in a few weeks I will definitely return here. I highly recommend this bakery to support local and for great quality pastries for very reasonable prices. Lastly, they sell various breads and jams. I believe another Yelper wrote that they sell breakfast sandwiches. I will order up when I return again. Hope you enjoy as much as I did!

After buying more than I'd like to admit, I was ready to drive back into town and paint their little sign a bolder color and splash it with glitter! Haha This is one of those places that is a hidden gem. Walk in the door and the smells hit you all at once and your mouth starts to water. Take your first bite and it still doesn't disappoint. Days later, cut into the few day old bread, smear with some butter and you'd still be thanking your lucky stars. I'm ready to make the 9hr drive back just for the Apple Fritters alone.
