Cute cafe within the small town of Crestone, neighboring the Elephant Cloud Market. I've had two of the "famous" burritos here - the Breakfast Burrito (with turkey bacon) and the Sam I Am Burrito. Both were good and tasted healthy, if that's something you're looking for. I enjoyed a large cup of delicious Bulletproof Coffee as well. Hanging out inside, there's a mix of locals and tourists. Lots of art on the walls for sale. Staff is kind, and they split their time between the cafe and market. Love supporting this small business that also host live music events! read more

4 stars because the food is delicious, reasonably priced ($12 for a solid sandwich with local ingredients these days isn't bad), the people are friendly, and I like the art. Almost knocked it to 3 because of HOW UNBELIEVABLE SLOW IT takes for anything to come out! Like waited over 30 min for my sandwich (and there wasn't a line to order when I came in and I'd already waited 5+ min to order). Cons: 1. A lack of actual mugs to pour coffee or hot drinks in (I was told they barely had any which is why they use the unfortunate disposable cups which leach microplastics into your hot drinks from the inner coating. 2. A very loud and misplaced exhaust vent ruining the peace and quiet on the patio where the outdoor seating is- they have a sign in front of it to hide it but it sure doesn't work. Why is this disruptive incessantly loud vent sticking out of the side of the building towards costumers????? 3. A very tacky and childish mural covering the building, making it look like it's run by middle schoolers. Why not paint it some of the tasteful colors you find in New Mexico? 4. I'm not a breakfast burrito person but I absolutely loved the burrito here! So so good! We came here on a Sunday morning and this place was pretty crowded. Among the other things we ordered, the simple was pretty good and comforting breakfast. My friend got the green gobbler panini which was nice. I also got a regular latte with coconut milk and their house rose syrup, get it! My latte was so so good! I love that this place had such homely vibes and everything was very comforting. definitely recommend coming here for breakfast if you're in Crestone. read more

I visited Crestone for my father's memorial which was actually a nice celebration of his life and it was held at The Cloud Station. First of all, Crestone is such a beautiful community, but the Cloud Station is where I would want to hang out every day if I lived there. The vibe, owners, and employees are wonderful, and caring. They take a lot of pride, and care in what they do. So definitely check this place out if you go to Crestone. In fact... you probably already will without needing to see this review! Over a few days we had golden milk, bullet proof coffee, paleo breakfast bowl, and mango smoothie. Everything was so delicious that I forgot to take pictures. our four sandwiches took AN HOUR. another women asked why her food was taking so long and the kitchen worker threw her sandwich at her, then complained that she was "bitching" after she left. employees kept avoiding eye contact and complaining about customers. food was mediocre, don't recommend. read more

I went to Cloud Station and ordered a panini. I then waited by the door in full view of the cashier/ order taker. For the next 30 minutes, I watched as others ordered soups and paninis and were served within a few minutes. Finally having enough, after watching someone get served their sandwich when we arrived 15 minutes ahead of them, I approached the cashier. I politely asked where my food was. She vaguely remembered my order despite staring at each other for over half an hour. After several minutes of searching, she realized the kitchen never received the order to make the sandwich. Seeing the aggravation on my face, she instantly went into defense mode about the size of the cafe and never offered an apology. I don't write many reviews, but when the incompetence is coupled with attitude, it deserves one. read more

Went a block a way to a little cafe called the Mystic Rose Cafe with an outside seating area. The picture you seeing the serious veggie sandwich without oil is what I got for 14.00. We came upon this cafe while staying nearby and it made for such a nice little breakfast spot to get our days started. Their lattes are delicious (and generously flavored if you opt for that!). We selected the baca grande breakfast burrito, which was solid although didn't come with the extra avocado we had ordered, as well as the Sam I Am burrito with pesto-infused eggs and ham. That burrito is delicious and would highly recommend! It's a unique spot and makes for good people-watching as an outside visitor -- it's definitely a local hub and full of folks who know each other and wind up spending time catching up over some coffee. read more

Pulled in to Crestone fresh from the Gator/reptile refuge. We had a banana, strawberry, mango smoothie, the Cloud Station Panini on GF bread, the Mountain Mama on sourdough and 2 soy lattes. First, let's chat about the space. Funky with art all over the walls. The stage is neatly tucked in the corner and I have no doubt they have amazing music played in those walls. Second, the service was awesome. The gentleman behind the counter was ridiculously patient as we pondered the selection. Third, the coffee was amazing. Fourth, the food was ridiculous! This place is crunchy enough for the alternative/healthy eater yet completely approachable for the less healthier eaters amongst us. Crestone is worth the side trip. read more

The odds you will be in the area of the Cloud Station is pretty slim, but it is a great place not to miss if you can make it happen. It is unique and delicious. The staff and patrons are just as wonderfully unique as their location and food. The food is delicious and made with love. Their coffee is also fantastic. This place is a cool little spot to get a simple cup of Joe. It is not cheap though. The coffee is two dollars per cup, and every refill costs 1.50 extra. I wouldn't order any food, since I have noticed different cooks hanging out in the kitchen during my visits, and sometimes the service is pretty 'low key.' You might have to wait some time for a fried sandwich or something like that. Some of the clientele can get a little weird inside, but most of the visiting people are quite friendly. There are a few people who seem to live inside of there - and they are even found in the same spot, day after day. The corner couch seems to be a preferred spot. Once and a while you might receive a nasty stare - but who cares? Just take your coffee outside and sit at one of the nice tables and enjoy staring at the clouds and mountains and feel the wind and sun glares. This cafe also has regional bands visiting for shows, so you might have to really wait for service during the day and day after a concert. The cover charge is usually around 10$ in the evening. There is also a small and expensive organic supermarket connected to the cafe. read more
