The manager, however, was rude and unprofessional. He declared it "fine" and offered to cook another one. The replacement steak tasted strongly like liver. We left the original on the plate; our dog ended up with the second one. A couple next to us on the same grill who had also ordered steak commented that ours looked so different they couldn't tell that it was steak. We paid over $100 for three people and received no meaningful apology from management--only the implication that we were trying to get something for free. The cook and server were excellent; the meat quality and the manager's response were not. Mistakes happen. Arguing with customers over clearly spoiled food and handling it so unprofessionally does not. Unless we receive a formal apology from the manager, this restaurant has lost our business, our family's business, and any future recommendations I would have given to customers or visitors.
