We did the deep sea fishing and snorkeling. Definitely earned the 5-star rating! Captain Tim was punctual, skilled, knowledgeable, and efficient. He was also fun and easy going. He had lots of sunscreen and cold water on board. Tim was able to move the boat around so that the boat covering provided a good bit of shade. He explained the different kinds of fish that we caught and that it was a barracuda that cut our line a time or two. We are not experts at fishing, and Tim did a great job of instructing and coaching. He also knew when to step in to give us a rest. Snorkeling was my favorite! Tim anchored in a great spot and told us where the best areas were. So fun! Tim gave us several restaurant recommendations. We've tried two so far and they were both great. I was most impressed by Tim when he had to take us in early because my husband started feeling bad - shaky and nauseated. It ended up not being anything serious but Tim treated the situation as of it were. He quickly gave my husband a cold, wet towel to put on his neck and back and replaced it as needed. I called 911 to meet us at the boat dock, and Tim got us there quickly and safely. It seemed like he took 5 seconds to secure the boat to the dock so the emt's could board as fast as possible. He stayed with us until my husband was in the ambulance. He even came to the hospital an hour or so later to check on him. Hopefully no one will ever need to call an ambulance, but if it does happen, you'll be glad to have Tim as captain of your boat. On a side note, my husband was fine and was released after 3 hours. It ended up being low blood sugar combined with the strenuous exertion of fighting a bull shark. We will most definitely book with Tim the next time we are in this area! He gets two thumbs up and five out of five stars!

He gives access for the first visit, GO TO DOOR M. Not L. He'll open the door for you and guide you through where things are. The equipment selection is excellent. He has a large selection of free weights, and machines to address every single muscle group. There is also treadmills, elliptical machines, stair stepper machine, and a variety of fitness balls and other loose equipment for that unique workout. There is a water cooler and disposable cups on site. Along with a fridge stocked with Gatorade, waters, and protein shakes. You just grab what you need and Venmo payment over. There is plenty, I mean PLENTY of sanitizing spray bottles and paper towels littered around the gym, to help keep the equipment clean and sanitized. With that being said. Here's the deal. This gym is not manned 24/7. This is an adults gym. No kids are allowed. You're expected to put things back the way you found them. That means, reracking weights, wiping down the equipment. Basically, clean up after yourself. I can't recommend this gym enough. It's my go to when I'm here visiting. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

But you get the personalization of the owner being there, the staff knowing who you are when you visit, and it is not overcrowded. The staff consistently exceeds expectations and is very personable when I am there. If you want a more personalized experience instead of your average overcrowded gym, give them a try.

Where do I even begin…read more.. This gym has now pulled the same stunt TWICE. Last year, they abruptly stopped accepting Active & Fit memberships with no real warning, forcing members to scramble and switch. I switched to Husk. Yesterday, I was informed they no longer accept Husk either. Just like that. Money already paid for the month, and I'm locked out of a gym I'm actively paying for. When I called to sort it out, I was told a manager would call me back so I could at least use the facility for the period I already paid. Instead, the person I spoke with on the phone laughed at me and hung up. Mind you, the manager never called me. The customer service is just the cherry on top of a very broken sundae. A sink in the facility has been propped up with a literal plank of wood for nearly a YEAR. Not repaired -- propped up with wood. The stretch room has barre handles affixed so loosely to the wall that they could snap off mid-use and seriously injure someone. Multiple pieces of equipment have loose bolts and missing washers. This is a liability waiting to happen. Paper towels and soap are routinely out -- in a gym, of all places. This place charges over $60 a month. For what, exactly? Broken fixtures, unsafe equipment, and staff that laughs at you when you have a legitimate concern? This location has been through 3+ ownership changes, and it's no surprise. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere that actually maintains its facility and respects its members. This is not it.

The water is actually so clear, I wasn't sure how it's be since it is atlantic side, and some of the more northern atlantic beaches are pretty murky, but the water here is just as pristine and crystal as they come! Tons of shells as well, especially some really cool orange-striped ones. I loved the day I spent here and wanted to stay longer, though the weather when I went did not bode well for that. Only downside I could think of is parking might get a little tricky because there's not a real big lot, but if you get there early you can get a front row and it's free! What can I say, other than I'm overly pleased that I stumbled across City Beach. In an area overrun…read morewith private beaches, this is by far your best public beach option in the West Palm Beach area. It may be a little out of the way, but it is worth the trek. There is ample free parking available in the shopping center adjacent to the beach. Said shopping center also provides many food and drink options. The beach itself is enormous, and even at its most crowded you don't find yourself stumbling over people to find a spot. There's a small line of palm trees towards the back where you can steal some free shade from the glaring Florida sun. If those spots are taken they offer chair, umbrella and chair/tent/canopy rental options. I believe I heard $28 for the day for a 2 chair/canopy combo, but don't quote me on it. The water is clear, clean and amazing. The beach itself is also very clean, with soft sand and a plethora of seashells lying about. Lifeguards are on duty, but not too overzealous. There are also bathrooms, and showering facilities available. Do yourself a favor- if you're looking for a public beach in the vicinity, make this your destination. Thank me later.

A friend visiting from Wis. last winter wanted to fish, so I called up Captain Rich and he and his mate took us out. The boat and crew were both top notch. We caught a variety of fish and fished a couple different ways (trolling and drifting), and were successful with both strategies. Snapper, Grouper, Bluefish, Mahi, and even hooked and fought a sailfish for about 10 mins. There was continuous action the whole trip. Instead of taking a moment to lower the music, gather our attention, and give scripted information with volume and detail. In addition because it wasn't Season there weren't any mega yaughts to see. Now we took the cruise advertising mimosa and soda but they were out of almost all the soda with just ginger ale left, that's poor planning and stocking. Disappointed and it was not as advertised.

My issue was not with the requirement itself, but with the fact that nobody mentioned it when I initially inquired about renting. Had I known beforehand, I could have prepared accordingly. The test contained technical boating questions that many people with little or no boating experience would not reasonably know. When I asked why this requirement had not been disclosed earlier, the employee's response was to call me "crazy" rather than provide a professional explanation. I was also told about a mandatory 10% tip before I had even booked the jet ski or received any service. Being presented with a required tip upfront, combined with the lack of communication about the boating test, felt misleading and unprofessional. Customers deserve to be treated with respect when asking legitimate questions. A simple explanation would have gone a long way. the lack of unprofessional behavior left a very negative impression of this company brand of jetski rentals. Do not recommend.
