I have stopped in here several times pre-Covid and post-Covid. I have seen the advancements that the business has implemented to keep up with the times. One of my biggest requests was 24-hour access, which was added within the last month. They have the typical cable weights, free weights, cardio, and a smoothie bar/station. But, they recently added an area that allows more Crossfit workouts, i.e., box jumps, sled drags, and such. Are you going to get something that a bigger club has, like a basketball court, swimming pool, and such nope. But you get the personalization of the owner being there, the staff knowing who you are when you visit, and it is not overcrowded. The staff consistently exceeds expectations and is very personable when I am there. If you want a more personalized experience instead of your average overcrowded gym, give them a try. read more

this is the absolute best gym I've ever been to in my life and I've been working out for 30 something years. I literally love this place. The trainers are incredible. The owner cares so much for his clients and the community is just awesome. The equipment is bar none the best in the area. If you like to work out and don't want to get hurt, this gym has the best equipment around. I moved to this area 4 years ago and left to live in Jupiter for the last two years, and I literally couldn't wait to get back to North Palm to be able to rejoin to Zoo Gym. We love that the gym isn't packed and we don't need to wait for our equipments or wait for people who spend a lot of time on their phones, instead of working out. Better than planet fitness, this location allowed me to come here to train with my fav trainer without charging me an arm and a leg just to use their equipment and showers. It's run much better than it used to be, when it was formally known as oxygen. The owner was a bea-yatch to say the least. She was not very friendly at all and I could hear her treating people with disdain. I'm no democrat but her republican elitism was sickening and would make me think twice about voting republican. That was the old owner. Now there is a new owner, a new name, a new layout and new everything.It's a genuine face lift and personality change. I came on a recommendation of others from my regular gym. I was looking for a change in my workouts with a skilled trainer who could challenge me and offer me ways to be successful. Corelle custom designed a workout to format my needs and help me advance towards my goals. He is extremely knowledgeable and offered me the variation that I was looking for. I have an old injury on the knee. He pointed out to me that I was still favoring it after all these years. He made constructive suggestions to help advance my gains. He is a caring and compassionate trainer that takes pride in his clients. I would recommend him to anyone looking to make significant gains. You will not be disappointed. Paid the expensive $20 one day pass (only valid until closing on that day- not 24 hours like some clubs). Receptionist (manager?) was less than friendly and showed little interest in my inquiry about a membership for someone like me traveling in and out of the area seasonally (Planet Fitness has a better membership rate for snowbirds). She showed little concern in my complaint that there was no hot water and I had to take a cold shower. She simply, and matter-of-factly, stated that the hot water tank was broken and would be fixed soon. I left vowing never to return and committed to letting others know of the poor business model. read more

This business completely lacks ethics and integrity. After they overcharged my card several times after I downgraded my membership, I decided to cancel my membership altogether. I tried calling to cancel and of course they required that you cancel your membership in person. The day I called to cancel they charged my card that day for another month. I finally was able to get to the gym to cancel my membership in the beginning of July. They still charged my card for the month of July and August. They tried to charge my card in September and I fought the charges. This place is a complete scam. read more

I moved to North Palm in September looking for a gym, I first tried planet fitness but soon realized the up keep of the gym is not up to par. After discovering the zoo gym I fell in love with everything about it. After 2 months I was forced to move again to Jupiter and thought I would find a closer gym to me, after searching however, I couldn't find anything that was as nice and well kept as the zoo gym is. I love it here and highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to workout! Will be staying a member for as long as possible! read more

This is not a gym for women who are serious about working out. If you want a high school environment with cattiness and clicks, then this is the gym for you. On top of that, the equipment is old, the floor In the aerobics room is in desperate need of replacement, or at the very least, cleaning. Hand weights and other props are poorly organized. A positive is that some of the instructors are really good. I wish there weren't so many negatives to counter the one positive. I will be cancelling my membership after just three months. read more

The biggest problem with this gym has to do with integrity which is to say they have none. First off everyone is paying a difference price and they sell Groupons which is never a good sign. I live part time in Florida and they wouldn't let me pay for three months in advance and insisted on holding my credit card. They said it wouldn't be a problem canceling as long as I gave 30 days notice which I did and still got billed for the 4th month I never used. My credit card company charged the Zoo back and a month latter I was put in collection. I had to spend an hour on the phone plus write a letter to resolve that. Th gym itself is below average with old equipment. They were always out of wipes for the machine and the girls gave a stock answer that they were being ordered. I don't use a trainer but they were all friendly and the front desk was OK. You can do better, a lot better somewhere else. read more

This gym is so nice! It is never busy and the staff and manager are amazing. The manager Sarah helped me get the best membership possibly for what I could afford and my kids love the daycare. They treat my daughters like their own! My favorite part is the coffee they have every morning. Everyone is super professional and they cater to us customers. A friend of mine brought me in to this gym a little over a year ago to do a workout with her trainer David, I was hooked and joined shortly after. The machines and weights are always clean and well kept, they are constantly getting new equipment. The staff is so friendly and attentive- Today on my way to workout, I spilt coffee on my work pants and they threw them in the washing machine while I worked out! I truly look forward to my times at this gym not only because of my interest in fitness but also because of the way I feel while I am there- I have built many little relationships with the staff and other guests, that I look forward to seeing all of the familiar faces. The trainers will do private or group sessions, I really love working out with the other women- it motivates me and hold me accountable. This is a seriously troubled gym don't jump on a sinking ship!! Here is a brief rundown of issues I have ran across while being a member. Showers have flies and bugs, showers heads are not clean especially the one in the mens room due south (ever hear of CLR Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover,). Towels smell like smoothies, I have gotten a few with stains as well, Wifi does not work consistently, Staff talks trash about clients, and about each other. Calisthenics classes are held in the free weight area?!? The hours are ridiculous they close at 8 during part of the week and 3 on the weekend. only one elliptical machine has the A/V working properly (only the third eliptical has closed captioning the one closest to the water fountain has no tv at all) ., even though there is a provision in their own contract they try to keep you locked in your contract after moving. The cooler has few items and they are not rotated. they also have not stocked any protein drinks in 8 months. soap and other supplies constantly run out unattended (especially bags for cloths and body wash). The staff complain about lack of management support. Add all this to the typical gym problems and you have a absolute nightmare. read more

Free wifi and the bathrooms are very sanitary and best of all, its never crowded. I recommend this gym to out of towers as well as residents.
